Hoban Pest Control

Hoban Pest Control was called and the next day they sent a technician. The technician Bob called before he came as requested, looked around and explained what he was going to do. also what to look for and call if we had anymore problems. He was prompt, professional, courteous and a pleasure to have in our home. I would highly recommend this company and will keep their phone number handy for any future needs of their service.

They were prompt and took care of the problem. They offered to come out for free if there were any more problems. They did not have to though because the treatment worked.

They are just wonderful. The technicians have been very polite. They have been very professional. I do not mind them being in my house. They come on time. I have recommended them to family and neighbors.

I was not at home the last time they came home but I know that they are coming. They do a pretty thorough job. I would tell friends and family members to go with it. They are a good company and they are reliable. If it does not work out the first time, if they need to, they will come back at no cost. I pay for the entire season. It is approximately a $100 for application but if we pay advance we get some kind of a discount and this is with taxes. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

I have a special service with them. They did a very good job for me. They do a fine job.

I pay them yearly. I have nothing but good to say about them. If I do have an issue for which they have to come back, they come back right away. Normally it is fixed by the first time but now with the way the weather is, I do not know when ants can come back. My neighbors on both sides of my house use them too. Their price is very economical compared to other services. Their punctuality is good; they were here by 8.30 this morning.

We were having carpenter ants appearing in our kitchen. We tried treating them ourselves to no avail. I checked with Angie's List for recommended pest control & found Hoban. They were professional and thorough in looking for the source of the ants. No nest was found - treated the kitchen. The ants returned. Within a week I had called a third time (the office was pleasant each time), with a technician returning not only once, but twice (I understood it was the owner this time!). I was watching when the owner found the hidden nest (huge!), treated it, and have not had the ants return.We contracted for the quarterly (exterior) visits, which is the $ amount noted in amount spent. The initial amount was $155, with a coupon.

Due to the mild winter, I expect this summer's insect and arachnid population to be quite abundant and thought a preemptive strike would be wise this year. Based on numerous good reviews from Angie's List members, I contacted Hoban Pest Control for an estimate for spraying the exterior of the house. Since I mentioned Angie's List, I received a $10 discount so I paid $145 plus tax for them to spray the exterior of the house. Their technician was on time and courteous. He thoroughly explained the process and what to expect. He also explained the plans available and followed by by mailing additional information about seasonal spraying and pricing, which seems to be reasonable. It's only been a week, so I think it's a bit early to tell if the spray has been effective. So far I haven't seen any spiders or webs.

The service was good. They were able to get rid of my carpenter ants and they also offered a 90 day warranty that was included in the $200.00.

Hoban took care of the mouse problem. (Had to come back a few times -- but this was all part of their money-back guarantee). On the last visit to the house, the Hoban worker discovered a groundhog that had died under our porch! Going above-and-beyond the call of duty, the Hoban staff member helped us remove the dead groundhog (which was causing some of the flies in our home).

They came out promptly and on time. They laid out a couple of traps behind my kitchen stove baited with almond slivers. The traps caught 1 mouse. However, based on the evidence the mice had been there for quite a while. The tech put out 25 bait bags around the house. 2 weeks later I sealed up the hole they were entering through. We haven't had any other issues since then. They were very thorough in identifying appropriate locations to bait. Very professional and not afraid to get dirty. They returned a few days after the initial visit to do a follow up. Overall, will use this company again for my pest control.

They did a very good job and are courteous.. They were responsive in doing the job and getting it done.

Nasty little hornets bit us. Hoban came out and they were gone within the hour.

The gentleman arrived promptly as promised, assessed the pest situation. Yes, we had some recent mouse activity in the attic. He thoroughly searched the two attics and basement and set numerous traps. He looked for entrances and blocked them. He explained their habits and what should happen next. He came back a week later, had caught one mouse, and reset the trap, plus put out some poison. He said that one was probably the only one. Sure enough, we have had no more unwanted visitors. Their services are guaranteed for three months. We are very pleased with Hoban, would not hesitate to use them again and would definitely recommend them!

It went quickly and we were able to come back in the house within 3-4 hours. They were in and out in 15 minutes. They came on time and we were able to schedule them within a few days notice. They were willing to work around our availibility as well. The gentlemen was very friendly and polite and left instructions upon leaving.

Polite phone contact explained services available annd prices. Appointment was made. Serviceman arrived at appointed time, explained what to expect and maintenance services available. He proceded to spray interior ofhouse and then left.

I looked around and found them on Angie's list they were good
