Dave initially came over to identify the problem, and his knowledge and professionalism showed throughout his service calls. He was very punctual, and answered my questions completely and professionally, and we saw results within 2 to 3 days. I am absolutely thrilled that Hoban was able to take care of my rodent issue, and I have not heard any mice scratching since Dave took care of the problem. They will be on my direct dial should I need their services in the future.

I found mouse droppings on my basement steps and, after freaking out, set my own traps. I caught a mouse in the basement the first night and within the next week started finding baby mice that apparently died on their own. I couldn't sleep without knowing how big the problem might be so I called Hoban. I chose them based solely on the reviews of other customers on Angie's List. Adam came out the day after I called. He was on time and very professional and thorough. He checked for droppings in the basement, garage and attic, as well as for possible points of entry. He set traps in the basement and attic and put out bait. He returned a week later and found nothing in the traps and the bait untouched. Since this meant I either did not have anymore mice or it was just too soon to have trapped anything or for them to eat the bait, he returned again to check several days later. Still nothing; so he sealed the possible points of entry at that time. I told him then that I felt 99% better (acknowledging that nothing but the passage of time would make me feel 100% better!) I have nothing but good things to say about Adam and this company!

Excellent! Just make sure your windows are shut. They will call a day or two before hand to remind you they are coming out. If you have outside pets, move their stuff to another location while Hoban is treating your areas.

Great provider. My call was first necessitated by the discovery of an underground yellow jacket nest. I called one exterminator that told me that for $165 they would put some power down, or I could do it myself with the powder they sell for $11. I called Hoban and they said for $100 that they would come dig it out - and I think they came the same day, if not it was early the next morning. Sure enough they came out as scheduled and the nest was completely removed. I have not seen any yellow jackets since then. I also called them back out to spray my house for spiders. I signed up for their quarterly program where I pay $100 three times a year and they come out as needed. On the first visit, because we had not moved in yet, they even did the inside. So far, the results seem great. However, if we do discover bugs, I feel confident that they will be back out as promised.

I have used Hoban Pest Control before for removal of bees nests and carpenter ants. They have always provided excellent service, I had a yellow jackets nest in the ground beneath a flowering bush. I called them in the morning and they came out that same day after lunch and took care of the problem. They are always prompt and arrive when they say they are going to. Very knowledgeable and professional. I would use this company again and would highly recommend them.

Living closer to Lake Erie, spiders, midgies and other insects are abundant. Webs on windows, exterior doorways, cars, lawnmowers is a way of life. In March I had Hoban spray my property and was pleasantly surprised to be able to enjoy it insect free for about 3 months. The technician was on time, polite and answered any questions I had. He did a thorough job and also sprayed my car because of the webs. I was happy with their service, employees and the results, so I signed up for their seasonal program which is $95 per visit.

I called and left a message for Hoban on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. I was at my wits end. I could hear some sort of bugs crawling under our upstairs bedroom window. It was so loud and so many of them that it kept me up at night. I left a message and someone from Hoban returned my call on Sunday. Even though they were closed for the holiday (which I anticipated) they said they could come out first thing on Tuesday. The very nice woman who returned my call asked me some questions about the noise and frequency and dispelled all concerns that I had that my new house was infested with termites. On Tuesday, right on time, a man from Hoban came out. He spent an hour at our house. He first came inside and of course, the bugs were dead silent when he was here. He checked the rooms I had found ants and checked the basement as well. He sprayed a bit inside, but said he would focus mainly outside. He sprayed down the entire house and spent more time in the areas I showed him were the bees and wasps had made a home. After he was done, he came back and reported that the bugs were in fact carpenter ants and that they were leaving my window sill in droves. He further pointed out other areas I should watch and get rid of an old rotting bench and tree stump because they were infested too. The three month guarantee that if we saw another bug, they would come back free of charge put my mind at ease. We did see ants over a month later, but they were all dead. Since then, we have not had any problems. After all the research I did, I could not be happier with Hoban, their customer service, knowledge, and the price. We will definitely use Hoban every spring.

It went swimmingly well... they came out within an hour of the call, communicated very well during that hour (they needed a few more minutes to arrive, but called to let me know)... did a great job!

What can I say? I called, they scheduled an appointment, kept in in a timely manner and provided what i requested. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Amazing - Hoban came out quickly to spray for carpenter ants. They found a nest up on an upstairs alcove and sprayed that and then sprayed the perimeter of the house and the baseboards in the kitchen and dining room since we had seen ants there in years past. They left and said to call if we saw more ants in 10 days. Well we did - the ants were now coming out in the kitchen like crazy. Within the course of 5 minutes I would kill about 30 ants. I called Hoban and they promptly came out again and this time found a nest in my neighbor's tree which is just outside of the kitchen wall that the ants were coming in from. They sprayed that whole side of the house and determined the ants were making their way across the driveway and in through the dryer vent. I was really impressed with their detection of the situation. Again, they left and said to call if we saw the ants again. Within just a few days the ants were back and this time it seemed they were even more abundant. Hoban came out the next day and with some more investigation found a satellite nest from the neighbor's tree up on our second story sunporch. The good news was that they found it wasn't a reproductive nest so they sprayed it, checked each side of the sun porch and sprayed the wall all the way down. The ants came pouring out of the house and running across the drive - it was like a scene in a movie..unbelievable. The third time was the charm - we haven't seen any ants since, my neighbor is going to take down the dead tree with the parent nest. Each time Hoban was responsive and quick to come out. Totally worth the money - I only paid one time because they promised they would get rid of the ants even if it took multiple times. Definitely recommend them if you have an ant problem.

Christian was the representative from Hoban that took care of the job. He was on time and took the time to view the situation with the ants. We had carpenter ants in three levels of our house which were the upstairs bathroom, kitchen and basement. There was no nest found inside. Our bathroom, baseboards in kitchen, interior perimeter of basement were all sprayed. The entire exterior of our house was sprayed as well. It was believed that there were two potential areas outside where a nest could have been, and both of those areas were sprayed. These areas included a maple tree in the backyard and an old tree stump in the front yard, which was reccomened that we pull it out. The cost of the job included a 90 day guarantee. I am very pleased to say that we have not seen a carpenter ant in the house since they were here, and that was over a month ago.

Performed services in a professional manner.

They do a good job for pest control but they are expensive. For what you pay them and the time they come out to respray the pricing is not that bad. I just see the initial cost and do not like that but they do back their work and do not charge you. I am going to be having Hoban Pest Control come out again soon. The price includes a couple of visits and the warranty. I have never shopped around for pest control services, I believe it is an average price. I don't think there would be anyone cheaper and if they were they probably would not back their work. I would recommend Hoban Pest Control.

They were really nice. They told us what they were going to do. They said if they start popping up in the warmer weather then give them a call and they will try and find where the nest is and spray again. So we saw some more and they came out again and spray more. We appreciated their concern. They come out with no problems if you have trouble.

I met the technician at my home on my lunch hour. They actually called like they said they would so I could met them in a timely fashion. He was spraying the outside of my home when I arrived. Then we discussed where we had seen ants and those areas were treated. He even sprayed my garage and put some poison out for the pesky mice that inhabit the garage from time to time. The cost was negligable compared to how I felt about ants in my kitchen where I prepare food for the family. So far we have found one ant in living room alive and one dead in basement since treatment.

He came out when they said he would and did a fine job of spraying (carefully, to avoid the fish in our pond) around the conservatory and side of the house to eliminate the ants. He made a special point of telling us several times that the work was guaranteed, and if we spot any more ants, we should call them and they'd be out to fix it.
