Representative arrived on time and call ahead prior to arrival. We walks the perimeter of the home and he explained, completely the process, warranties. He applied the solution per the contract. After his work was completed discussed, again, the warranties and further annual contract options. We were pleased sufficiently to sign up for the annual plan. Would highly recommend Hoban.

Great, very responsive to a message left over the weekend. Called back before listed business hours and had a technician there that morning who was helpful at explaining/finding/treating everything with tips for prevention in the future.

Awesome! Came out the same day, found a nest under a porch outside and did the job! Had same problem last year and paid twice as much and obviously got ants back because they didn't do the job right!

This is the fourth time I have used Hoban and they have responded quickly, sending a tech out the same day that I have called. II typically have them come out anytime I have trouble with bees around my house. Unfortunately, I didn't have them come out last year for a prevention spray and I ended up wtih a wasp nest lodged in my wall. They had to come out and cut the nest out of the wall! They were fantastic and took great care to contain the wasps/bees as much as possible. They were able to get the entire nest and kill all the wasps. I like to use Hoban because they don't require a contract, like most other pest control companies and they offer a 3 month guarantee on services. They are extremely professional and have always provided excellent service. Well worth every penny you pay to them. I highly recommend them.

I found them on Angie's List and the job was excellent. Their service technician came in and I was surprised that they were able to fit me in today. They were definitely very prompt about it and I believe that the service technician that came out is one of the company managers. He was prompt, very courteous and very friendly. He answered all my questions and he was a great educational source for me because I have never ran into that issue before. He explained everything that he was doing and how it works. He explained what to look for and what to keep an eye out for in case they start coming back. He was just excellent. I would recommend everything about them. They were professional and very customer service oriented. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

They are wonderful! I have recommended them to a couple of different people. They came out and they were great. I would highly recommend them to anybody. They were knowledgeable, they were polite, and they did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. They were very reasonable. I would absolutely use them again.

I discovered a problem in our garage that we thought might be termites. I contacted Hoban and, and their suggestion, sent the photos I had taken. Dave called within an hour, told me it was citronella ants, not termites. He also told me how to deal with the problem myself (very simple and inexpensive) instead of coming out and charging $95. If I ever truly have a pest issue, I'll call Hoban again.

The technician, Matt, showed up on time. He thoroughly checked our house for evidence of the carpenter ants we had been seeing. (Of course the ants did not show up when he was there. ) He crawled around the attic and crawl space looking for them. He then sprayed the interior and exterior of our house. Some ants did appear shortly after he sprayed which he told us might happen. Matt was one of the nicest and considerate person we have had do work on our property.

Kyle was our service technician. He was super polite and very knowledgable. He found the nest in our crawl space right away and sprayed the heck outta it. He also sprayed the perimeter of the house and stressed that we should not hesitate to call if we see any ants in the next three months.

Overall everything went well. They returned in about a week, they did not think there was any evidence of rats so the traps were removed right away. They said to call if I had any further problems. I did call back because the bait I was leaving in the crawlspace was being eaten. They returned and left different kinds of bait packets in the crawl space. I have used them in the past and I have been happy with their services overall.

They were very prompt and polite. They are easy to be around. They are quick and thorough. I was so impressed and I recommended them to my daughter. They are knowledgeable.

The company sent out a technician the same day we called and he was very thorough in assessing the cause of the problem. He climbed up into the rooftop crawl space and found many dead ant carcasses and some live activity. He recommended treating the nest through the hole in the bathroom wall and then sprayed every room of the house around the baseboards to prevent any further insects from entering. He explained everything he was going to do first to get our agreement on the treatment. He also inspected the outside perimeters and, having many large oak trees around our house, inspected them as well for live activity. This inspection resulted in thorough spraying of the exterior perimeters and any area where the insects could enter. The technician was very professional and careful with the application of the treatments. We were so pleased with the excellent service, we signed up for regular treatments throughout the year. After a few days, there was no evidence of the carpenter ants. We would highly recommend this company to family and friends.

Excellent service, very punctual and even did a follow-up inspection for no charge.

Better than a previous service I used. They didn't overspray the windows too much and were efficient.

They had good advice, sprayed, and left. The carpenter ants were not seen again.

Bedbugs. Great service; terrific couple of guys came out and were thorough, professional and had a great attitude. Follow up was great and outcome successful. Very highly recommend them.

I called Hoban Pest Control because I had a yellow jacket problem in my house that suddenly got severe. I had seen a few in my sunroom and at my side door. I thought there was a nest outside and that they were coming in the house when I left my back sliding glass door open for my dogs to go in and out. Over the last week, there were more and more and it got scary. After hearing my problem, Hoban sent Tim that same day. Tim was very professional and asked me several questions about where I heard noises in the house. I had done some online research before he arrived and found a tell tale moist spot on the dining room ceiling. Tim looked up and said that was it. He got a bucket, gloves, a beekeeper hood, and some spray from his truck. He poked a hole in the ceiling, sprayed and proceeded to pull a large nest out and into the bucket. I watched from a cracked bathroom door. I was freaking out and Tim was very calm and very professional. It was over in a few minutes and then Tim cleaned up the area very well with a vacuum and taped up the hole in the ceiling. (I will have my handyman fix the small opening.) I was very grateful for the prompt arrival and terrific work. I would have paid two or three times their charge and not blinked. I highly recommend Hoban for any pest control service.

The last time I used them was in early September and I spent about $105 with them. They come out every quarter, except for the winter time, and they just spray a non-chemical solution around the exterior of my house. This was my second time using them. My first time was for a treatment when we were moving to the house. They had us on a warranty which included a follow up treatment.

Arrived on time. Technician was courteous and personable. He examined my home thoroughly, explained what he found and the course of action he would take (bait and traps) to get rid of the mouse, and that my pets wouldn't be able to get to the traps. He also sealed a couple holes around the foundation where the mouse appeared to be entering the house. He was quick but very thorough. I used Hoban for an ant problem earlier in the year and they were equally as wonderful then.

We had a problem with the small "cement" ants for much of the summer. We could eliminate them ourselves for a couple of weeks or so but they would always return. We never had a problem with these type of ants before. One application took care of them. They did a good job and would hire them again.

I couldn't be happier with the service that Hoban provided when I had a recent need for a pest control company. They were friendly and professional on the phone, able to schedule a visit the same day and the technician who came out was super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I hope that I never need a service like this again but if I do, I wouldn't call anyone else.

I don't even know where to start- Tim is awesome. We bought our house last year and I was completely horrified by the amount of spiders that we had in the basement, in the bedrooms, kitchen, yuck. Big, small, fuzzy, creepy, they were everywhere and my poor husband had to deal with me flipping out every time I saw one. We found Hoban's on Angie's List and it was the first place we called. They came out within a day or two and treated the inside and outside of the house. WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT! In the first few weeks when I occasionally saw one, we would call Hoban's and they would come do a follow up treatment at no charge. The most recent treatment Tim came out and called my husband who was on duty at the time and told him to take his time getting to the house. They are extremely flexible and give a reasonable time frame for coming out to our house. We can't say enough good things about them. The price for me was totally reasonable and it is such a relief not be panic stricken and throwing shoes at spiders across the room. Since they have come out, we have not seen any spiders, ants, bees, ladybugs, or centipedes. They have been completely flexible in terms of scheduling around our commitments, and they are extremely professional. If you are looking for any type of pest control, give these guys a call.

They were referred to me. They also offered a discount which also helped me make that choice. They were fine. They cured the issue. I liked the tech and he actually pointed out another issue we didn’t know we had which was a couple wasps’ nests around the house. They did do a pretty thorough job in finding more than what they were called to do.

Great. The first day, the next was treated. The second day, the ground was dug to ensure no next remained. Everyone I dealt with at this company was totally professional and helpful. I would not hesitate to contact or recommend Hoban Pest Control.

From the first contact until the end of the visit, this was a fantastic experience. I called and someone answered the phone immediately. I was a new customer, I had a problem, and was hoping there was some way they could squeeze me in their schedule for today. She said she would call me right back - and she did. And I was on the schedule for later in the day. Tim called ahead as arranged, and came within the promised window. I explained the problem. We walked around and he very quickly found the source outside, then he came inside to check if there were any hidden signs of wall damage but luckily there weren't (my guess of where the bees were actually coming out was correct, I just had no idea how they were getting in from the outside). He patiently explained everything he was doing and why. He taped up the inside hole (I was having work done so there was a hole in the ceiling) and then addressed the source of the issue. He took the time to answer all my questions. Before he left I asked about regular service (I asked - he didn't try to "up sell") and I was so impressed that I decided to set that up. I don't think this company is cheaper than others, but nor are they more expensive - about the same as their competitors. But what won me over from the very beginning is the attitude, professionalism, and friendliness (just ask my pets!). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hoban Pest Control, and definitely will be using them again (hopefully only for maintenance!).
