Flotechs Plumbing was GREAT. They responded to our SOS in the evening right after a major snow storm. They made an emergency appointment for that night. Everything was handled via email - payments, appointment confirmations, etc. It was all seamless. The crew arrived (two men) right on time (when they said they would) and not only got everything working, but they also cleaned out YEARS of gunk we didn't even know was there that was impacting the efficiency of the water heater. Ninety minutes later, the water heater was working and they were gone. Unparalleled service! A+ -- we didn't have an emergency plumbing team for our investment properties, but we do now!

It went very well. Josh, the owner, called me within 10 minutes of leaving a message. He sent someone the next day. I had the new unit in my possession so we agreed to do the job on a time and material basis. His office called me with the numbers and I agreed. Jonnie arrived at my house the next morning as promised and proceeded to do the job flawlessly while explaining to me what he was doing. He finished up and the pump works great. He made it look easy.

Company was very clear and responsive from the beginning. The plumbing tech they sent diagnosed the problem and fixed it efficiently. Would use again. Hard to find honest and reliable plumbers. They are all expensive but with this company you are getting real professionals.

These guys are amazing. They come when they say they are coming and are courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. I have used them three times now, including one dire emergency, and have had the same experience each time. I really appreciate that they take the time to explain what they are doing and why it is necessary. They do mundane things like plugged toilets and complicated jobs like frozen pipes. I wouldn't call anyone else for a plumbing issue.

I had gas leak in the utility closet where the gas meter was kept. I was advised that tightening one fitting can cause problems to arise in other areas, and that I might still have to call ConEd to turn off the gas. I was given the option of having their plumber try to fix the leak, or calling ConEd right away. I chose to have the plumber try to fix the problem. Although the plumber tightened the leaking pipe, and a spray test showed all my connections as leak-free that day, the gas smell came back in a few days. In other words, tightening one fitting put more pressure elsewhere in the system, and ConEd had to be called in to turn off my gas, since that is the only way to really find all the leaks. Flotechs oversaw the entire process with ConEd as well as getting the village permits needed. Plumber returned once gas was off and tightened the leaking connection. After pressure testing (can only be done with gas shut off), another leak showed up. After tightening that one, another connection was found to be leaking. In total, there were 6 leaking connections from a renovation done 5 years ago that replaced the gas piping throughout the house. All the previous piping had to be replaced because of faulty seals (work not done by FloTechs). The plumber then moved throughout the house, checking every gas appliance and fitting to make sure they weren't missing anything. Spray tests and pressure tests found lots of leaks, unfortunately. They obtained the village permits for the gas integrity test and miraculously got ConEd out within a day to turn the gas back on (in itself a miracle). While it was a miserable experience, I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and skill of the plumbers sent to fix the problem. They explained the pros and cons of various approaches in a way that minimized the cost to me. In the end, although I had to replace piping (required by ConEd), I am confident that the work done will last decades. Great crew, I would hire them in an instant. They have done minor work for me as well (replacing toilet flappers, dealing with frozen water pipes), always fast, professional and extremely skilled. Having dealt with other plumbers in the area, these guys are the best and extremely honest.

We replaced an old coal boiler made out of battleship steel that had been “upgraded” to oil in the 50’s and a water heater that was not vented to code. They were great about discussing options and recommending products. Work was done in a timely manner (despite ConEd) and they were very professional and responsive. Well! Assessment/Quote meeting was informative and thorough. The work was done in a timely fashion, quickly and the installer spent time explaining all his steps and work to my husband upon completion, which was appreciated! He kept a clean work site, wearing shoe covers in our home and using a drop cloth for his tools and materials. Communication throughout was EXCELLENT and overall, a super pleasant experience. So grateful to have found them and worth the money, in my opinion!

I cannot say how much I recommend them. I called, and within ten minutes I received a response. Just from describing over the phone what was wrong he knew exactly what work needed to be done. Within the hour I had a worker here and fixing my toilet. Both the owner and associates were so kind and friendly and answered all my questions. When the tech came he put booties on so he wouldn't make a mess in my bathroom and cleaned up when he was done. Work was done in a hour, as promised.

Jonnie arrived at the scheduled time. He was very professional,clearly snswered all questions and completed repairs quickly. Would definetly hire again.

Jonnie arrived on time and got right to work. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the shower problem. He did some troubleshooting with the sink problem, but wasn't able to fix it in the end (again, I wasn't hopeful about the sink in the first place, so I wasn't disappointed).

The two plumbers that Mr. Benjamin sent arrived on schedule. The problem was a spindle. The shower was originally installed about 20 years ago, so finding the correct replacement spindle took time and added to the total cost, but they succeeded and completed the work. The faucet now works as it should. I appreciated Flotechs's policy of having their plumbers put on "booties" for work in a customer's home. In our family we don't wear shoes in the house, but most repairmen don't use shoe covers. We will call on Flotechs again for future plumbing needs.

professional from beginning to end. josh is responsive and businesslike. pricing was appropriate for A level expertise and service. would absolutely recommend to those seeking a high-quality and professional plumbing service provider.

The job went badly. Will never call again. They charged $150/hour for driving time to pick up parts that could have easily been picked up less then 5 miles from my house, instead they drove 40 miles to get them. I was unreachable as I was on an airplane, so instead of discussing with me they just did whatever they felt like. When speaking to the owner afterward he was extremely rude and spoke down to me.

Service was excellent. They were on time, very professional and solved the problems in short order. Overall a great experience and would recommend their services to friends.

The FloTech plumbers were responsive and prompt. We called on a Saturday at 4:30. They were at our house by 5:30 and quickly went to work. I highly recommend them.

Great - leak was from dishwasher - easy fix

Very well. They were punctual, polite, patient, efficient, and clean. They were also very upfront about the estimate, accurately predicting how long the job would take. Anyway, my circulator was making a loud buzzing noise coincident with losing hot water. Jose and Joe showed up within the expected window, wore slippers on the just-cleaned floor, rolled out a drop cloth and went to work. They even remembered to keep the garage door closed so the cat wouldn't run out. After 90 minutes, they were done, and the new circulator seemed to work just fine. They cleaned up afterwards, and gave the original "white" receipt to me instead of the "yellow" copy that's generally impossible to read and scan. Can't really ask for more than that.

They were very responsive when I submitted my quote. They were interactive. On the day of service, they were in contact with me and they performed the service quickly. They provided additional feedback. They went above and beyond with supply some other suggestions with some other projects that I may have in the works. The interaction was wonderful. They're very knowledgeable and very helpful. They went above and beyond supplying additional advice on some other projects that they didn't need to. The work turned out excellent. They were a little late, but they did call me in advance to let me know.
