Al diagnosed my issue over the phone and gave me his thoughts on what the problem might be. We set an appointment time and he arrived 15 minutes EARLY. He was courteous, professional, friendly and didn’t hit me over the head at all for the (relatively) minor repair. I will certainly use Al again (hopefully not too soon), and will absolutely refer my friends, family and neighbors to him as well. Very pleased with the work. Thanks Al.

Well, putting in a new switch blew out some circuits, he checked the circuit board, flipped some circuit switches, and another circuit blew. He said he and his men, would come back and try to fix the problem. He did NOT call back.

I've never met a pro that I've found on HomeAdvisor that was as rude, abrasive, or downright unprofessional as Al Angrisani. During our very first conversation, he cut me off half a dozen times, raised his voice to me..etc, but he seemed knowledgeable and I was in a jam, having lost power to my home and he was the first available resource. I told him ConEd was working on the line, but being a new homeowner I didn't know the line between what ConEd handles and what I am responsible for, and he told me he would happily come by to give a free estimate. After he came by, he called me back to tell me there was nothing to be done, as ConEd handled everything, and now I owe him $150 for his time (never mentioned before). When I told him ok - I understand you need to be compensated for your time, let me just call my insurance to see what they'll cover for the service visit - he angrily told me "keep your money, I can tell you aren't going to pay me" and hung up like a angry toddler. I contacted him the next day and said I had no problem paying, and would just need a receipt. A week and half later, he still hasn't provided the receipt, so I contacted him so he didn't think I was trying to stiff him, and he sent via text some scribble on the back of a business card that my insurance said they wouldn't accept, so I asked for a real receipt/invoice and he responds via text "You don't get a receipt for $150 job! Keep your money" again, like a toddler. I was really floored at the good reviews here, given how childish and rude Al was to me. I told him I have no problem paying, and I don't think asking for a receipt is too much to ask. He has yet to respond still.

Al and his team are down-to-earth, efficient, and most importantly, professional. Al afforded solid guidance prior to and during the project, ensuring that I was in-the-know for each of requested installation tasks. I would gladly hire Al and his team for any future electrical work in the house and I greatly appreciate their time and efforts completing the project set before them.

Where to start. First rushing you to do the work. Do the work nothing get fix it gets worse. Call back doesn't pick up phone send you to voice-mail. When get in contact he wants more money now that's not the problem which he stated it was. Very disappointed. Thank you home advisor.

I hired Al to complete a large electrical upgrade job. He was professional, arrived on time (actually 15 minutes early) and complete the job in the time promised.
