The team was timely, professional, quick and careful with my items. Wrapped furniture very well and took care to make sure they didn't damage walls and floors. Very happy with the service and would definitely use them again.

James was great. We had a small job that we kept adding on to and James was so accommodating. He was courteous, reliable, and on-time. We could not ask for more.

Jimmy was great to deal with through my entire move. He was super responsive from Day 1 offering up several options to match whatever budget I was looking for. To have his crew move my things across the country on a single truck was a bit more expensive than others, but everything got there without anything lost or broken! You definitely get what you pay for with these movers. Professional and Fast with strong attention to every detail in protecting my things! I would not hesitate to recommend this company to any of my family or friends and am sure I will use them again in the future!

From the owner Jimmy to the men who both packed and moved me , they were responsive, responsible and extremely careful with the packing and moving of my possessions. In addition to competing the job on time and efficiently, I was impressed with how long each of the employees has been with the company. To me that say a lot about how a business is run. Found James on Angie's List when looking for a moving company to help me move many pieces of furniture from my family home after the death of my mother and her sister. He called me back instantly and arranged his schedule to meet me, since I had to travel from MD to NY to make the arrangements. He considered my schedule when setting up the delivery, met us right on time on the appointed day. Movers were meticulous in packing everything. Everything from start to finish was smooth and everyone we dealt with, from James to each of his movers, were professional, pleasant and very easy to work with. Thank you for helping me handle this very difficult task!

This was actually the second I've worked with Jimmy. He originally moved me into the storage rooms when we downsized homes. He is Westy Storage's preferred mover so that should tell you something right off the bat. He has been present on both jobs and even though they were almost 2 years apart, he had several of the same guys on his crew. To me that says he treats his employees well and they like working for him - which they do. They took great care loading what was an honestly pretty mess storage room complete with furniture, boxes, a glass wall system for my office and my baby grand piano. He was incredibly responsive and was able to get the job done exactly when I needed it done and for what I thought was a very fair price. Would highly recommend them.

What can I say? Jimmy and his crew made one of life's more stressful activities almost enjoyable. I would definitely use them again. They showed up on time, did exactly what was necessary and came in bang on budget with no unexpected extra charges. His guys were friendly, polite and professional. They worked hard and didn't stop until I was totally happy with everything. I would definitely use them again.

I wish I could say it went well on my part...if I were easy...or it were an "easy move", then this rating wouldn't be so interesting! First, Jimmy contacted me immediately and was so incredibly accommodating with my tight and short schedule. He was readily accessible, prompt and friendly. The day of the move, my furniture was less than gracious in almost inhabitable move in conditions. Jimmy and his crew were beyond professional, worked above and beyond to get all of my oversized furniture (think square peg- round circle) into their rightful places. I really can't thank he and his workers enough for their dedication.

The move went very well. The guys showed up on time and worked very hard. They were polite and careful with all of my items. I have many antiques and had no problems at all. They also assembled beds and put all major pieces in the designated rooms. I have only great things to say about this company and nothing negative at all. I would most definitely use this moving company again in the future. I would also like to add that there was never any price increase or "add on" prices which I know many companies tend to do.

I've done 11 moves in my career and this has started out as one of the best we've had. Davey's crew worked hard for 5 days wrapping, boxing, taping and loading household goods from our Stamford residence. They were very easy to work with, very responsive and very careful of our possessions, furniture, breakables and fragile items. They worked hard to make the first half of our move a good experience for us. Moving is never enjoyable, but they went the extra mile to give us the confidence that the pack-out and loading process were done in a professional manner. One of the loading days was rainy and they worked to keep our items from getting wet as they were loading the trailer. We didn't have a destination address, so the owner, Jimmy Consaga, worked with the shipper to provide us a month's storage in our destination city. Hopefully we will have a new address soon and can see our household goods come off the trailers. Our thanks to Davey and his two other crew members, Maritzio and Ernesto. They had been packing together for 10 years and worked very well together. I've told Jimmy I want to see them on the other end when it's time to unload!! Update as of 2/2/15: Everything was unpacked properly. I was very happy with the crew...they are excellent and easy to deal with!

It went extremely well considering that when we arrived at my mother's storage space, there was much more stuff there than originally anticipated. The guys got it done - no problem - and were very professional. The price was fair and reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

Very smooth move! Right up to the move days Jim was very responsive to our questions. On move day the men were very careful and gentle with all of our belongings. We have a ton of stuff and had to move over two days. Jim even let us borrow his van on the third day for no charge, which was a HUGE plus! We're using them again to complete our move in the spring/summer.

My husband and I were relocating from NJ to Atlanta with a limited relocation budget. Jimmy was extremely helpful throughout my whole move. Before I hired him, he consulted me and gave me an estimate and advice as to how I could save money. I decided after reading other Angie's List reviews and interacting with him that I felt comfortable in trusting him with such an important yet stressful part of my life. I was not disappointed. Jimmy's 3 man crew worked so hard and were a pleasure to deal with. They were helpful, explained and pointed out things to me as to how to reassemble furniture. They kept me in the loop with everything they were doing. They arrived on time and worked late- AND by the way worked the whole time- in the dead of summer. I was very happy with their services, demeanor and professionalism. I highly recommend Jimmy and his crew.

Jimmy and I corresponded by email about the move and exactly the furniture items and number of boxes to be picked up at our home in Connecticut and moved to my son's apartment in the city. He gave me a quote on the phone and a day and time for the move to begin. Jimmy's crew arrived exactly on time and were very courteous and helpful. They loaded up everything in their van and then we met them in the city to set up the apartment. We had several large IKEA pieces that had to be assembled at the apartment. His crew was very careful with the IKEA and did a fabulous job. They did not rush the assembly and were very meticulous and conscientious with the furniture. They only took one break during the entire day. Above and beyond the call of duty. We could not be more pleased. Highly recommend Jimmy and his crews.

Jimmy arrived with his crew, directed them and returned at the end of the loading. Everything was beyond my expectations. His crew was smart, efficient, courteous and professional in everyway. They loaded the cube securely and it was picked up the next day.

It went very well! Jimmy's guys are the nicest yet very professional as well. They were able to move a rowing machine and treadmill from the basement up to the top floor via a spiral staircase without damaging anything. They worked from 8-5 without a break and remained pleasant the entire time. This is the second time we have hired Jimmy... The last time was for a move to our current home. I will definitely hire him again when needed.

If you choose any other movers than One Man With A Van and More you are CRAZY! This company is hands down superb in every way. The owner, Jimmy, is on top of everything - from start to finish. He takes care of the details - all of the details! I was skeptical as I have had the 'movers from h***' experience one time too many but boy, did these people make up for all the others. When I unpacked my things I was absolutely speechless at how fantastic the packing was. The men who packed me were fantastic - they made mention to me of every single thing that was 'chipped, broken, or whatever' before they packed it. Movers just don't go to that trouble at all. I can't tell you how impressed I was. They made my move from New York to California stress-free and I thank them for that!

FABULOUS MOVERS! I filled out their price quote form and Jimmy contacted me quickly with the price. He was readily accessible via email and cell phone throughout the process. We discussed dates and we agreed that this move should take more than one day due to the distance between the locations. The truck came right on time on the day of the move. Jimmy was driving and he had 4 men with him. They were friendly, hard-working, efficient and careful. I have moved many times and this was the first move where no walls were damaged on either end of the move. They also moved unwanted items out of the first house and left them on the curb for me, and donated some others. On the drop-off day, they arrived right on time, with Jimmy driving and the same 4 men with him. They brought several large pieces of furniture up to the 2nd and 3rd floors of the townhouse, up several flights of stairs, and no handrails or walls were bumped even once. They placed all the items where I asked them to. I wound up with twice as many boxes as I had described to them, but nothing was added to the price that had been quoted to me. Jimmy gave me several wardrobe boxes at no cost. I have already recommended this company to the people who bought my house to move their piano. I would definitely use them again.

I have used Jimmy and his guys so many times now they feel like family. I don't bother getting quotes from anyone anymore because Jimmy is always fair and most import comes on time or before. His men work very fast, point our any scratches or flaws in advance so there are no questions later. Jimmy is very high energy and proud of his business. I wish more people were like that. He is a true professional and he takes good care of his employees. Consequently they are very loyal and excellent workers.

The move went well. They helped us set up the furniture and place it where we wanted in the new house. Moving is very stressful, especially after 24 years in one house. Jimmy's group was great and I would definitely use them again.
