Service was excellent, everything was packaged perfectly. Furniture was in perfect condition and I have never seen anything like it. Jimmy the owner even sent me a plant. Delightful people to work with. Ice storm occurred during this move. Moved from Morristown New Jersey to Pennsylvania. A very big move and 12,000 was a bargain.

I needed a piano moved from one room to another. The move itself was short and easy, but the timing was critical. Because we're renovating our house, we needed the move to take place at a very particular time -- after floors had been refinished in our living room, and before the painting could be done in our kitchen. We also need the work to be done very carefully to avoid damaging the newly refinished floors. Jim responded to my inquiry immediately, and we very quickly agreed on a time that would work perfectly. Then, because of an unexpected scheduling change on my end that required me to move up the work by a day, he scrambled to get his crew here on about two hours notice, on a Sunday afternoon. When they arrived, they were courteous, professional, and quick, and they did a great job. When our construction is finished, there will be more moving to be done, and I now know exactly who to call.

The team showed up early and worked very quickly. Were extremely helpful and finished much earlier than expected. Really appreciated them being on time and hardworking. Very friendly and considerate. A+ job!

Things with Jimmy and his crew went extremely well. Better than expected. Moving long distance with your entire family can be stressful, but Jimmy and his crew made the final packing and loading a very seamless process. The day of the move they showed up on time and worked efficiently together to get everything completed on time. The entire crew was very professional and pleasant to work with. Jimmy provided a one stop shop for packing, transport, logistics, rubbish removal and document destruction. Jimmy is extremely knowledgable and his crew has been with him for a long time. I would not hesitate to use Jimmy and his crew again.

I'm really glad I found Man with a Van to do my move. They took great care with my possessions and were very friendly and nice to work with. These movers really know what they are doing. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

It went very well, I have used this company for two prior moves, one of which was a six floor walk-up and again the crew were tireless.

Jimmy and his team were the best. They moved our family from a three-bedroom home to a four-bedroom home. This included a piano and some heavy furniture and other heavy items. We had a lot of stuff to move, including lots of stored items in the attic. The team of movers were extremely respectful of everything they moved. Every time they lifted or set down an item, they did it so slowly. Nothing was damaged in the old house, and nothing was damaged in the new house. We have all new wood floors in the new house, and everything was perfect. They were very pleasant and professional. They moved several hundred boxes. And although we haven't unpacked everything yet, so far we haven't found a single broken item. I even discovered a box of loose Christmas bulbs (that I hadn't packed properly), and not a single bulb was broken. I definitely would recommend A Man with a Van and More, Inc.

Smooth. Owner is very responsive. Provided estimate quickly. Answers emails promptly. Answers questions directly. His team is efficient, courteous and easy to work with.

Communication throughout was excellent. I got an email or phone response to every question, usually the same day. First stage, weeks before the move, was to wrap and move furniture items going to my daughter's -- they scheduled at my convenience and delivered same day. When I had identified garage and basement rubbish to be removed, they came separately and made the big pile disappear -- that including dismantling an 18-ft boat that no one else wanted to take away. They also took away the usable furniture that I could not keep and donated it to a charity. I got the receipt. On the day before my move, Jim and his crew arrived and carefully packed my kitchen and china cabinet and prepared and put protective wrap on the furniture. All the boxes they packed were carefully labelled as to contents. In addition to the beds, four antique pieces of furniture with marble tops were dismantled and carefully wrapped. On moving day all went smoothly and I was amazed at how quickly loading went. They even reminded me that my outdoor potted plants needed to be tucked in. Jim and his crew of three also skillfully maneuvered everything into the condo building elevator. There was a very efficient division of labor, with guys working the truck and elevator portion and another delivering items to the condo door and moving each one to the room I indicated. The clothes they loaded into wardrobes in the morning, were hanging in the closets by late afternoon. In addition to being incredibly quick, all of the crew were exceptionally friendly and cooperative throughout. Moving is, of course, stressful, but I have to say that with Man with a Van and More, it went far better than I could have imagined.

Jimmy and his crew arrived on schedule, (on the early side of their time frame )introduced themselves and went to work. Jimmy and his crew were professional all the way. They securely wrapped all the furniture in shrink wrap and covered same with moving blankets prior to loading. Any scratches or dings on furniture were pointed out to me prior to being wrapped in order to prevent any question of damage after the move. My furniture was placed in storage and will be moved once again by Jimmy and his guys next month. Highly recommend. No problems, all good. See you in July.

This provider this a great job for me. They were very neat and clean and very happy while they did their work. I would definitely use them again. They were very careful with my furniture and were on-time. They went above and beyond what I expected them to do.

It didn't go anywhere. While it's certainly possible, I have no way of knowing, & never will, whether this company does a good job, I am not about to pay a dubious premium for a unsolicited migraine No, I didn't record the telephone call (illegal in NYS, without the consent of the other party), but I am well-documented on everything else.

In two words, INCREDIBLY FANTASTIC!!! The team was totally professional & focused on the need to handle pieces of family furniture carefully. Several pieces were heavy & difficult to move & the team never complained. They worked together & supported each other with a sense of concern & humor. Each & every piece was impeccably handled. The team worked hard to accomplish the move in the most efficient & timely manor possible. The end result . . . no scratches, no dings & everything in its place as requested. They are the best moving team I have ever worked with.

"Jimmy" gave me an online estimate for part of my furniture to be moved to storage. He was able to move my furniture on very short notice (which I needed quickly due to Real Estate photos to be taken for my house-for-sale listing), & did this move on a Sunday. He brought more workers than expected, so the job went faster than I thought it would. All of the workers with him were professional & handled my furniture with care (including antiques, some with glass/mirrors/marble parts). I asked them to move 3 remaining pieces of furniture to different spots in the rooms they were in, & they did so willingly, even adjusting the spots as I requested. Throughout the whole process there was no griping or complaining, like from other movers I've dealt with in the past. Everyone was positive, cooperative, & helpful. Jimmy referred me to a storage facility that was just as high-class & professional as his crew was, & the storage room he recommended was the right size for my stuff. The move was as painless as it could be, & Jimmy stuck to his estimate (another thing that other companies seem to have a big problem doing). He kept the estimate despite the fact that I increased the number of boxes I had by 25-30 (due to my last minute packing). There were no "hidden charges" & no "surprises". He did exactly what he said he'd do, & at the agreed-upon price. I recommend this company to anyone who needs to move, especially people with antiques, & people who know the value of a firm estimate.

When I first called, I left a message and my call was returned shortly. I received an estimate promptly after emailing details of what I needed done. I called on Friday and scheduled for Tuesday. Jimmy and his three man crew arrived to take furniture pieces from one location to the other and back. Travel time between locations was easily 30 minutes. They were very nice, clean cut, polished and professional. Their truck was immaculate! Inside and out! Did not look at all like typical moving van. I asked if they could take a couple more items like a bike and some bins, and they did. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them highly.

In looking to hire a mover, I contacted several different companies. A Man With A Van was extremely quick to respond via email and phone. They were flexible with regard to my schedule and showed up right on time. The movers were extremely courteous, professional, and EFFICIENT. They went to great lengths to protect my furniture, as well as the walls and floors of my house. I had grossly underestimated the amount of boxes I had, causing them to bring a smaller truck (they told me they'd bring a smaller truck before they did it) that wasn't quite big enough to move all my supplies. Fortunately, they had another van from their fleet come immediately. I was pretty much at their whim at this point and they could have really taken advantage of me charging for the extra van, but Jimmy (the owner) only charged another $300 - more than fair considering another truck and person had to stay with us for several hours. Not a single item was broken or damaged. I would never hesitate to use these movers again and recommend them without hesitation.

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. I called his number and call was picked up promptly by a very personable, professional person. She took my pertinent information and the owner, Jim, called me back immediately. His quote was very fair and we set the date of the move. He arrived with three men, even though it was a small job, to ensure that I was moved out before the start of the business day which was a requirement of the landlord. His men were courteous and professional and the move was done in record time. The move into my new office went equally as well. I will use A Man With A Van and More again and will not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends. He is a man of his word...you can't get better than that!!

Jimmy Consaga and his wonderful crew couldn't have been better! Their dedicated service and professionalism from start to finish was a pleasure! In a process fraught with potential for great stress and with many (pardon the unintended pun) moving parts, Jimmy was fantastic. Movers were prompt, professional and did a good job. Jimmy Consaga, whom I presume is the owner/manager, was very responsive and provided all information requested. The move was effortless. We would use them again!

I called James and said he would be able to remove the piano either the same day or the next. It wasn't long before he called again and said that they would pick it up and remove latter that same day. I couldn't have been happier that they did this so promptly/quickly. Yes I would use them again.

These guys were absolutely amazing. They emptied everything I had in my 1 bedroom apartment on the third floor and loaded the van in literally 20 minutes, got the van to the new address immediately, and had my new place set up in no more than another 30 minutes. They politely asked where they would like each piece of furniture or box for our convenience, offered help in numerous ways, and the owner of the company was a pleasure to talk to. Anyone who is moving and wants efficient and courteous service from a solid company would be very pleased to work with A Man With A Van & More!

Family member moved from the East to the West coast. This was a supply chain process under the ABF transportation umbrella. U-Pack Pod was dropped in the driveway by ABF transportation and loaded by a team from A Man With a Van and More. The team was very good in packing the Pod. The Pod was picked up the next day and sent on its way. You are able to track the Pod thru the ABF tracking system. Pod arrived 10 days later. An issue arose with the company delivering the Pod on the West coast - they had been running late with deliveries and did not call. This created an issue with the time scheduled unloaders - who were part of the ABF Moving Staffers umbrella. Unloading went fine...except a computer desk was found damaged when removed from the Pod. Unloading team took pictures. Here is where it is Buyer Beware: the loading and unloading teams were contacted about a claim. They both said to submit the claim to ABF - which was done. ABF denied the claim because they said that they are only responsible for the transportation. No one took responsibility (the loading company, the transportation company or the unloaders) for the damage - which was clearly seen in the pictures. These companies all worked within the ABF system.

I needed some furniture moved from NY to CA. I had planned to use a regular long distance mover. I called Jimmy and told him what I was moving and he suggested that instead of a moving company to get one of those pods. Big moving companies don't like to move just a few things. He gave me the name of the pod company (U Pack.) I made a few more phone calls and found Jimmy to be correct. Jimmy and Cecil (at U Pack) were responsive and accommodating. On the day of the move, 3 men showed up along with Jimmy. They were great. They did everything. They wrapped everything very well, they dismantled beds, protected mirrors. They were friendly, polite and very hard workers. I've moved several times before and it always turned out to be a nightmare. I was stressing out for weeks before the move. Jimmy's guys made the move pleasurable. They were knowledgeable in knowing what to do and how to pack. It was a pleasant experience. I was confident they knew what they were doing. I will definitely use these guys again.
