An excellent experience from start to finish. Charlie is so amazingly professional, gets the work done, no surprises, the price is very good, and the finished project looks beautiful. Charlie was so patient with us as we kept changing our minds on a $40K project. He walked us through our best options, and came up with solutions for tricky things. He absolutely saved us when in the middle of our project our well failed. He pivoted to help us with that by bringing a trench digging machine and digging the trench needed for the well repair. Charlie makes sure his customers are happy, and again, he was so wonderful working through a punch list so everything was perfect. Both the masonry and carpentry work were excellent. You won't regret hiring Charlie and his crew. we were really stressed about this big project, but he made it a lot less stressful.

This work was done in late summer 2019. The review is late in posting due to my own reluctance with social media; my apologies to Charlie and the crew at Rolling Stone for not being more timely with this review. A rotting wooden retaining wall (about 60' long) was replaced with a paver block retaining wall system. The crudely built set of stone steps for the original wall was replaced with new uniformly built steps out of the same pavers. The crew did excellent work, arriving on-time each morning and cleaning up nicely every day. The project took 3 days. What I especially liked about Charlie and the crew is that they were thinking and made some suggestions about the steps and some other repair work on the patio. The benefit of a late review is that I can report that the wall works and looks great after almost two years.

Everything with this entire project went very seamlessly. Charlie was very accommodating, and his workers were extremely respectful of our home and time. I would definitely recommend this company for any and all masonry needs. I will be using them again in the near future for my next project.

Charlie Vaccaro of Rolling Stone Masonry was very attentive & responsive when he was doing a $20k patio for us. We told him there was a water drainage pipe running under the patio from our gutters that drained into the back yard. The workmen and he told us that they would maintain the space in the wall so the pipe could drain out. We did not realize until this spring, when water began backing up into our garage, that this was not done properly. We contacted him and he came to see, and promised an estimate to correct it. Despite numerous texts & phone calls, the estimate never materialized. He claimed to have texted it, emailed it to several email addresses we provided and finally said he would put a hard copy in our mailbox - Nothing! He did not respond to texts, and avoided phone calls - we had to call from "unknown" numbers to get him to pick up. Finally we gave up. Still have not heard from him two months later. We found him on Angie's List and part of the appeal aside from the high ratings was that he is local and assured us that he would stand behind his work. So disappointed! Hoping he didn't think he could treat us like this because we are female!

Charlie and his team were fantastic to work with and the results look great. They were very professional, completed the work in a timely manner, and I'm very happy with the end result. Would highly recommend.

Charlie is the best. He came over took a look at the job and had a proposal over that same day. He was a bit backed up on his schedule but got to me when he said he would. His guys were also great. They made quick work of the job and were sure to clean up leaving the property looking better than when they got there.

Great job. Every section of stone/stucco identified as in need of repair/replacement was addressed, the quality of the work was excellent, and the job was done in a timely and professional manner. I highly recommend Rolling Stone Masonry.

We had an appointment and he never showed up. I called, left a few messages and he hasn’t returned my calls. If he wasn’t able to stop by to give us the estimate, he should have at least call us to cancelled the appointment or return my calls. Very disappointed at this company’s customer service.

Overall, Charles and his team did a great job installing our patio. It came out beautiful and we are very pleased with the finished product.

They had to come out several times to fix the issues. I shouldn't have had to call them back so often. One time the platform wasn't leveled properly and water accumulated on it. The cement work done last August, it's already cracked and out of place.

Everything went went well and as planned. They were on time, neat, and professional. They did excellent work. The steps look beautiful! Charlie is a pleasure to work with and I will use him again.

He was on time, he was prompt, and they did not waste time. The boss was courteous, the worker was courteous. He was excellent, he took one break to eat his lunch, then was right back to work. He was the most reasonably priced guy I found. It just looks great.

The repair went very well. The crew came on time, was very pleasant and worked hard. They were tidy and finished the job a bit quicker than predicted. The walk looks great. The stones they reset look good and feel solid. The new joint are smooth and even. The color of the mortar is consistent. Dealing with Charlie was easy and pleasant; the work matched the estimate exactly.

Did not deposit the down payment until the work was scheduled. Work was started and completed on schedule. They accommodated inclusion of a heart shaped slate from the old walk in the design of the new walk at our request.

Charlie was extremely responsive and showed up the next day to provide a quote. He got us on the schedule and completed the work in a timely fashion. The workers cleaned up cleaner then they found it and I would hire Charlie again. As a matter of fact I am waiting on another quote as I type this.

Charlie put in a small patio for me at the beginning of the summer. It came out so good that i wanted to rip out the existing patio and connect the one charlie did to the old one. As I mentioned in an earlier review Charlie is top notch. He provided a quote for the new job and got us on the schedule within a few weeks. My wife and i couldn't be happier with the final product. Anytime in the future i need a Mason my first call is going to be to charlie.

Very well - Charlie is a real pro. If you want something done right by an expert, use him!

Charlie was great to deal with. There was constant contact before and during the job, i had no issues getting him on the phone and he stopped by when i needed him to. His crew worked hard and got the job done. Everything looks great and I'm happy i hired him. I believe you will be too.

Rolling Stone Masonry and Charles Vaccaro the owner are amazing. From the initial appointment to the start date, Charles kept me posted on the schedule, showed up early everyday, his staff was amazing, clean, detailed & professional. They worked thru the rain, the sun and everything in between to get the job done. After the job was complete, Charles came by and saw something he did not like and came back and fixed it to his satisfaction and even power washed area's and fixed some other things for me that were not driveway related for free. Rolling Stone Masonry & Charles Vaccaro are one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. If you need a new driveway or masonry work, I would definitely go with him!!

Charlie was quick, professional, great to work with, as were his employees. Whatever came up was addressed right away, and he was always available.
