Description of Work: They did an excellent job on my bathroom. Gutted it, installed new recessed lighting, whirlpool tub, toilet and sink. Tiled the sink and one wall. Tiling work was excellent. Courteous, punctual and very friendly. I would use again.

We set up a time and he came right on time and finished the job nicely. He did extra grouting in other bathrooms without any additional fees. He cleaned the area .

+ 0 moreGREAT! Rick did an excellent job. He installed a tile backsplash with an accent tile strip that matched the accent tiles he installed on the floor. The job turned out wonderful. I have had many compliments from family and friends. Rick and his wife Renee were a delight to work with and very accommodating. He arrived on time and always cleaned up. I highly recommend Rick and would definitely use him again for future work.
Description of Work: Installed kitchen tile backsplash, replaced cracked floor tiles, installed accent floor tiles. Price included tile.

+ 0 moreRick Marzano removed all the floor tiles and prepared the floor for a new cement board base. He removed the toilet and installed the cement board on the floor. Rick then put the adhesive on the floor and laid the tiles he purchased for us at Daltile. Rick also installed a marble threshold at the doorway. He let the adhesive dry overnight. The next morning Rick did the tile grouting. He let the grout dry for a couple of hours. He cut and folded the carpet at the doorway and reinstalled the molding and the toilet. There were no problems at all and Rick did a very professional job. Rick laid tarps on the stairs and hallway. All areas were neat and clean when the job was done. Rick Marzano does beautiful tile work.
Description of Work: Removed bathroom floor tiles and installed new floor tiles.

+ 0 moreRick was very prompt in responding to my phone call for an estimate-called back within a few hours. He came over to give an estimate the same day. He was not the cheapest I got an estimate from, but I felt confident in his ability to do the job well. He followed up twice by phone to let me know exactly when he would be coming and to give me updates. He came on the day he said he would at the time he said he would. He and his son in law tore out the old floor and did most of the prep for the floor the first day, hammering down nail heads and repairing any old holes in the floor and starting on the cement board. Rick laid the floor part of the second day and finished the third day. He arrives right on time and doesn't take breaks. He is at work all the time and he ran several things by me to be sure it was what I wanted. The floor looks beautiful and I am very happy with the results.
Description of Work: Removed old vinyl floor and subfloor in kitchen. Installed cement board and porcelain tile. Removed ugly plastic baseboard molding and installed new wood baseboard molding.

+ -1 moreOn the first day Rick and his wife Renee tore out the old flooring in all areas. They had taped plastic sheeting over all openings to protect other areas of the house from dust. The cement board flooring was also installed. Rick planned around all exits for our convenience to come and go as needed. He also made sure 1 bathroom was available for use. The second and third days Rick laid the new tile and began the grouting. On the 4th day Rick completed all grouting and clean up. The work included removal and replacement of wood molding in one area, and installation of tile bull nose molding in the full bath. Rick and Renee worked as a team, were polite and professional at all times. They were pleasant to have in our home and very thoughtful! We love our new floors; we don't miss the squeaks, and all work was done to perfection.
Description of Work: Rick Marzano replaced old flooring in a small foyer/powder room and full bath. The old flooring was replaced with a ceramic tile we had chosen earlier from Best Tile. Rick purchase from that supplier. Rick returned our call on the same day we contacted him. He was able to give us an estimate the next day and began work 4 days later.

+ -1 moreRick Marzano was the only one out of 3 that contacted me back to set appointment. he was very flexible with me to set a time to come to the house. He looked at the damage on our kitchen floor, then told me he would have a hard time matching tile and the project could turn into a larger one that I wanted. I was very impressed that he didn't try to sell me more then I needed or a service. I also asked him to look at another job in the bathroom and would use him if we decide to finish that project.

+ -1 moreI read very favorable reviews on Angie's List for Rick Marzano. I was able to get an estimate and schecdule work through e-mail. Rick came promptly on time and proceded to re-grout our tub/shower area. He laid tarp down the hallway to the bathroom, closed the door and went to work. He was very clean and made very little noise. He did a very excellent job. The tile looks as good as new. He checked our other bathrooms and we scheduled him to come back in 2 weeks.

Description of Work: Ron installed a travertine bathroom floor for me (in a room where no two walls were square to each other) and it looks great! That was actually the first project he did for me, the most recent was a granite tile kitchen counter, with a marble backsplash.

Description of Work: We did some renovation in our kitchen, and we wanted a dramatic change in style and look.We learned that Rick Marzano was the man for the job. This was a wonderful experience, and in todays world that just does not happen very often. We found Rick to be a true professional, with caring , prompt, and expert service. He is a very personable man, with a great deal of pride, and talent for his work. Rick put in a glass tile back splash for us. He measured the job perfectly, and that was very important to us, because of the fancy, and very expnsive tile we picked. Rick was prompt and speedy in his craft, and very meticulous with his work. You could just tell he wanted things just right. Our material was very difficult to work with, and Rick had to cut much of the glass tile by hand, using tiny clippers. It was amazing to watch. The finished product and job was breath taking. It was so refreshing to see that craftsmen like this are still around. We are so proud of our little kitchen now, and we have Rick to thank for it. Like I said before, a wonderful experience!

+ -1 moreAfter calling several tile contractors to give an estimate on creating a new back splash in my kitchen, I finally found Marzano Tile. The other contractors did not understand my vision for project, and either didn't get back to me with a quote, or came back with a higher than expected estimate. Marzano quoted me a more-than-fair price, performed their work professionally and on time. They are truly masters of their craft! It is very hard to find contractors like them.
Description of Work: Marzano Tile created a beautiful limestone tile backsplash for my kitchen, accented with bronze trim. It is a work of art!
