On time, did job and followed up with lab report.

Joe was most polite, respectful and professional. He took time to explain the process, and answered all of my numerous questions. We received our results promptly, and he spent some time on the phone with me discussing the results. We would contract him again, and we have recommended his services to our friends. EXCELLENT experience and results.The owner, Joe came out within a day of my call and spent time fully explaining the situation and the needed remedial work .Came back within a few days thereafter and removed all the affected drywall, the carpet pading and carpeting, carting away all of the debris. He left commercial dryers for two days after finishing and took a mold test to submit to the Laboratory to make sure that there was no mold left . Came back within two days with the negative test results and removed the dryers. Joe is very knowledgable in mold remediation and was a pleasure to deal with. I was very impressed with this Company and I have no hesitancy at all in recommending them.

We were concerned about mold growing into the carpets via leaky radiators. Joe came within 24 hours, did a thorough inspection and put our minds at ease by explaining things to us in detail. Because there was no cause for concern and there was nothing he needed to provide other than his assessment, he did not charge us for the visit. We'd utilize his services again.

Joe returned my call right away and came to my house on a SATURDAY. Was very professional and courteous and didn't even charge me for the visit. I would highly recommend this service provider to all my friends and neighbors.

It was a very informative session; however it was brief and I wish we would have made more notes. There are several things I need to fix prior to formal testing and documentation. The owner will return when I've gotten the house ready (probably spring).

I thought he was very good. He seemed to know what he was doing and took a practical approach to what needed to be done. He was not a fear monger - he wasn't looking to scare us and make money. I thought he was reasonable and practical I appreciated his honesty and I would use him again.

Mr. Margherita came and did a walk-through. His experience indicated that the culprit of the moldy odors was an old carpet. He took samples for a mold test and was prompt in confirming the results that there was nothing to worry about. He was readily available and open to communications. Overall a very good experience.

Joe was professional and inspected the apartment. He took the samples and said he would have them back by Thursday and would call contact me. On Friday, I emailed him. He immediately emailed the information to me. I had several questions for him and emailed him again each time. He immediately responded with full answers and I was very satisfied with the report and the answers. The cost for the work was estimated at $3800.00. For the amount of work that needs to be completed, it appears to be a fair estimate. We were happy with his services and would recommend him to friends and family.

Joseph showed up on-time and did everything that he promised in his ad. We got the report in a couple of days via email. Very happy and satisfied. Will use again.

Provider unwilling to provide service in the morning (he says I live too far away). I subsequently attempted to schedule service in the afternoon of next week but provider has been unresponsive to my request.

i was worried that i had mold. i was away for 2 weeks and had turned off my air conditioner and closed up the house before leaving. the rains were very heavy and saturated the side of the house. when i returned, the house smelled very musty, i chose joseph margherita of fresh maintenance because he offered a free estimate. i know that free estimate usually means high price for repair, but i took a chance. he was ready to come the next day, but i wanted to wait another day. he instructed me to open all the windows and call in a few days. it got a lot better but the mustiness was still not gone, so i called. he said he would be here by 11:00 the next day, but instead he called at 11:00. i was sure it would be about being delayed, but instead he asked which house it was and knocked at the door two minutes later. more important, he walked all through the house with me, ran his finger along picture frames and bookcase shelves, searched the garage corners and ceiling for signs and proclaimed ordinary dust. he assured me that the slight mustiness was not mold and would disappear with another day or two of open doors and windows. which it has. he could have had an easy target, because i am terrified of mold as anyone should be, but he had genuine integrity about his work. by the way, when he first came and i asked him how he fixes the problem [in the event i had mold] and what it costs, he carefully explained all of those details. his prices were favorable to some of the other angie's list contractors. he also advised me not to shut my a.c. when i travel. [i should have known that myself after all these years.] in the end , my house is odor free from fresh air, and he did not charge a cent. i recommend him very highly. he is an honest man.

This company did a fantastic job. They gave us a fair price, and provided the services that we desperately needed in a quick and timely manner. We would definitely recommend them!

I called them to check out what I thought may be a mold issue and a representative of the company came out and advised me it wasn't a harmful growth and I could clear it up myself very easily. They could have easily scared me into using their services and made some money off of that tactic, but did not. I have no hesitation to recommend them and if I would ever need any mold remediation in the future, I would definitely call them.

When he came over, he was professional and very nice, but he still owes me a letter of inspection.

Fresh Maintenance was easy to work with , and as other reviews have stated, addressed the problem without over-addressing the problem. Sought the cause, treated the area, and left with a few words of advice as to what to monitor and how to aerate the room. Scheduling the initial visit was very easy, and he arrived on time and with advice. Scheduling the actual work took a little longer with vacation schedule but held to the quote and the time frame.

I needed a mold inspection for a home I was about to purchase. My son has asthma and I'm highly allergic to mold. We found this provider on Angies list. he was offering a discount for the service so we chose him. He was also going to be in our area the very next day. So the scheduling all worked out nicely. However, Trying to communicate with the provider after the point of sale and before the inspection occurred was a bit nerve wracking. I couldn't get him to respond to my many email requests. At the 11th hour he did resurface and in fact did show up on time. After the inspection we spoke in the phone, as I was unable to be there at the time of the inspection. His demeanor on the phone was a bit off-putting. The owner was somewhat condescending, questioning my desire for the inspection in the first place. I found this a bit odd, and almost insulting. The fact is, he offered a service, I hired him and paid him in advance. Why should he question me about my need for a mold inspection? For this reason I wouldn't recommend his service to any of my friends or family. He did show up and do his job. But as the owner of a service driven business (which I am myself), Joe should really work on his customer service skills and bedside manner.

The problem was reported by a tenant and I really did not know whether there was mold there or not. I signed up for the $99 inspection deal offered on Angies List. I was doing this after 11:30 PM on a Wednesday night and did not expect a response until the next morning. In fact, I was still at my computer when a response arrived less than 20 minutes later with a date and time for the inspection at 9AM on Friday morning, which was one of the times I had suggested. Joe arrived on time as promised and waited patiently for about 15 minutes for the tenant to arrive to point out the place where he thought there was mold. While waiting he gave me some helpful advice on a mold problem in my own bathroom a floor below. When the tenant arrived Joe took a swab at the location requested and packaged it into the test kit. I got the lab report a little over a week later indicating that there was no mold in the sample. Joe was very helpful and it was great doing business with him.

Joe came the same day to give us an estimate on some mold in the basement. He was extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable. He told us that we could resolve the problem on our own and told us how to do it. He also gave us great advice on other home improvement projects. Overall a very nice guy and would definitely reach out again.
