It worked out very well. We had her give us some ideas for interior design. We ended up contracting with her to do some interior painting and it turned out very nice. She was very helpful. I would use her again in the future.

She is not only the designer but she does the work herself, except to make the window treatments. She did all the paper and painting and hired an electrician to do some electrical work in the dining room and the seamstress for the window treatments. She has good ideas for design and can carry them out and get you whatever you need. She is trustworthy as I left her alone in the house while I worked and I came home every night to a nice and neat house. She is very neat. She is meticulous about her work. I was very pleased with the woodwork as she took the time to sand it down and make it nice and smooth before she painted.

We hired Virginia to hang some very expensive grasscloth paper and she did it flawlessly. Aside from that she always did what she said she would. She sent estimate when she said, called when she said, followed-up when she said, and arrived early for the job every day (I loved that). Not only is she professional and gifted at her craft, she is a very warm person. I actually liked having her in my home. Very honest and trustworthy. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again and I highly endorse her services.

Virginia is a lovely person to work with. She suggests and doesn't push. She wants you to be comfortable.

My 1920s home contains beautiful detailed woodwork and high ceilings. I took a lot of time to select wallpaper that complements the style and decor of the era. To be sure - even the most beautiful paper can be a disappointment if it's not hung correctly. It was clear that I needed someone with experience. Virginia came to my home at the agreed upon time to measured the foyer, above the stairs, and the upstairs landing. She calculated the number of wallpaper rolls needed for the project, as well as needed wall preparation. Based on her calculations, Virginia provided a quote. Virginia and I negotiated the project start date and I provided her with my house key. She called at the end of each day with an update on how the project was progressing. Each day when I came home, I was more impressed than the day before. The wallpaper was hung perfectly around all of the detailed woodwork, the wallpaper patterns were matched up perfectly, and the seams were absolutely invisible! I never saw any job this well done. It was spectacular! The project took a week, but it was well worth it. Virginia is a master at hanging wallpaper. I'm so glad I selected her. She is a true professional - skilled, honest, dependable, and most importantly interested in doing the best job possible! I've already asked Virginia to prepare and paint two ceilings - she's also a painter!

My first goal was to decide on what colors for my living room , dining room and family room. Virgina called shortly after I contacted her and we set up a appointment to meet and see my home. She brought her color wheel and we choose some colors. The next step was that she made up color boards for the rooms and also brought along a surprise for the dining room...wall paper. . After that presentation she told me to think about her suggestions and she would contact me the following week. With much agony I did choose all of her suggestions and I am so happy. I was a bit hesitant to use the wall paper but I am so glad I did. Even my husband, who thought that wall paper was not such a hot idea, loved the finished results. We are happy with all of our rooms. Virgina has a flair for coordinating colors, decor and is able to pull everything together. She was wonderful to work ethic. She is a hard worker and knows her stuff. This was the first time I ever used a interior color designer and I am glad I did.

Virginia is a true artist at what she does. She works neatly, quietly, and efficiently, with total professionalism and painstaking attention to detail. Every wallpaper she has put up for us is perfectly matched, smoothly applied, and stays attached. She also has a designer's eye and can give you good advice on what will work well in your space and what won't. We have never used her for interior painting, which is another of her specialties, but I 'm sure she would do an excellent job with that as well.

Virginia was always punctual, extremely helpful in choosing appropriate application of clay for my bathroom which, w/o a fan had begun to mildew. Problem totally solved due to Virginia's help.

I achieved a cloak from her two weeks ago. She was very nice. Her work was beautiful and I saw pictures of them. I think she's got quality there.

The house is very old and there were many layers of paint and a lot of sloppy putty work done by the previous owners. It took a lot of work but the house now looks fantastic. There was a hallway that we really wanted to look nice but there were so many issues and places where the surface was very uneven and we knew that just painting it would not completely fix the walls. Virginia thought to use American Clay and the result is perfectly even and beautiful. She's also done interior decorating with us and has an eye for furniture and colors. As a painter, she can help you, not only decide what type of look you want, but also make sure the proper steps are taken to ensure it's done right.
