Troost Bros. Inc. is a fully licensed and insured remodeling company dedicated to the quality of its work and to its clients. Serving all of Staten Island as well as the surrounding areas. Our work ranges from large additions to simple window installations. We are members of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, HIC/NARI of Staten Island.

We specialize in all aspects of the remodeling industry including kitchens, baths, basements, attics, siding, windows/doors, flooring installation, decks, porches, doors, electrical, insulation and drywall.

They never called back
Description of Work: Called week of the 27th of June. Explained work that we wanted done which was an outside staircase to be constructed with Trex. They said that we would be contacted after July 4th.

Description of Work: I reached out to Troost to perform a roof raise. We already had plans drawn up from our architect and were looking for an estimate from various contractors. Troost is well known in the area so they were a natural choice. Unfortunately, we never heard back from them after our first attempt at getting an estimate. After calling again, we finally received an estimate but it took so long that it turned us off. We got the feeling that we our job was not important and for that reason, we opted to go with someone else.

I GUESS IT WAS FAIRLY PLEASANT. THEY WERE HARDWORKING. THEY DIDN'T EVEN STOP TO BREATHE. THE HEAD CARPENTER WAS VERY NICE. HE DID EXTRA FOR ME WITHOUT COMPLAINT. THEY WORKED LIKE CRAZY. THEY DIDN'T COMMUNICATE VERY WELL BECAUSE THEY WERE SO BUSY. I WANTED TO JUST GET THE JOB DONE.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO ME IS THAT THEY WERE RESPONSIBLE. THE THING WITH CONSTRUCTION IS THE TIMELINESS. THEY PROMISED TO FINISH ON A CERTAIN DATE, AND THEY DID. THEY PERFORMED A VERY GOOD JOB. I HAD A SPECIFIC IDEA IN MIND AND THEY HELPED CREATE AND IMPROVE ON IT.
Description of Work: THEY DID ALL THE CABINETS, LIGHTS, AND FURNITURE IN MY KITCHEN. EVERYTHING IS CUSTOM MADE. IT IS ALL NEW AND MADE OF GLASS. THERE IS SPECIAL LIGHTING UNDER THE CABINETS.

THEY WERE PLEASANT TO WORK WITH AND RETURNED CALLS. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME. IF THEY WERE GOING TO BE LATE, THEY WOULD CALL WHICH IS UNUSUAL IN THE CONTRACTING WORLD. THEY FINISHED AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. THE WORK EXPERIENCE WAS NICE. WE ENJOY HAVING A PORCH THAT DOESN'T WOBBLE WHEN THERE IS A STRONG BREEZE.
