Misunderstanding led to missed appointment.

From start to finish everything went great. The crew showed up Thursday morning to inspect the job, then went to pick up the materials. Our home is very non-conventional which made the job difficult (instead of 1 day as planned it took 2), but each time a problem arose the guys figured out a way around it. Throughout the entire process everyone was professional, polite, and really seemed to put in an extra effort to do a great job. I would gladly recommend Jade Construction to anyone, and whenever I need more work done on our house, Jeff will be the first person I call.

When I bought my first home, it needed a lot of work. I hired Jeff and Jade Construction to gut and remodel our master bathroom. First when I got an estimate for the bathroom, he emailed me a long printout of everything that needed to be done with all the materials that were to be used, so I knew there wasn't going to be any extra costs. When it got to their work, everything they did was don't meticulously and with great detail. There was no cutting corners or rushing the job just to get it done and get paid (I'm not saying it took long, it was done very quickly). Throughout the job, Jeff was there everyday checking in on his workers to make sure everything was going well when he wasn't doing the work himself. Throughout the process Jeff also recommended things to do in the bathroom to make it look nicer (move window, niche in shower, different tile work, etc). While they were doing work on the bathroom, I hired them to do other work as well once I seen how good they were. They leveled off my ground level slab and installed tile and hardwood flooring. They also replaced 2 staircases as well. Even throughout this, Jeff and his workers (especially his main helper Wellington) helped me with a lot of misc things around the house that I was trying to do myself. (changing gas valve, hooking up dryer, skimcoat on wall, etc) Jeff and his workers did an amazing job. I was concerned because you hear so many nightmare stories about contractors, but I lucked out with Jade because everything they did was great. Once I'm ready to renovate my kitchen or any other job I wont even waste my time calling any other contractors, I'm definitely going to use Jade again. We spent the first few months of the yr interviewing contractors before deciding on Jade. Jeff seemed to share or at least appreciate our sensibilities/taste. He also gave us the most thorough and professional estimates. From start to finish, it was a great experience. At the onstart, Jeff explained to us the timeline, permit requirements and brought in a talented architect, Cathy. This job was handled with great attention to detail and communication. At every start of a new phase, Jeff took the time to tell us what was going on, incorporated our input/opinions and made us feel informed and comfortable. When issues such as color of walls and trim came up, he even brought someone (free of charge) who was able to go over paint colors with me and help me makes those decisions. I felt that Jeff bent over backwards to make sure I was happy with the progress and confident with every decision I made along the way. They are a professional group: you won't hear loud music or come home to see debris. At the end of everyday, they vacuum, wipe down counters and throw garbage out (and bring it to their dumpster offsite). Wellington, who assists Jeff is talented and good-natured, with a great eye for details. He was able to make an unavoidable header in my living room look like an intentional tray ceiling by the choice of molding and style of installation. They kept to their timeline and we are now living in a polished and beautiful home that feels like us (not fancy, just clean lines and well done). Jeff and Wellington were also good enough to help out with residual tasks like fixing an outdoor water faucet, installing blinds, and helping with a clogged drain in the children's bath. Little things like that make the relationship that much stronger. We are taking a break from home projects for the rest of the year. However, we are planning to redo the children's bath and remodel the kitchen next year. We already hired Jade for the job.

Jade Construction did a phenomenal job. I started just needing a bathroom done, but after beginning work on my new house I needed more work done. Jade was extremely helpful with everything I needed. The work they did was excellent and when my next project starts 1 will not even snoop around, I will call Jade without hesitation.

This was the second custom home built by JADE Construction for our family. In addition to the 2 homes, he also completed a full renovation of a commercial building. Jeff and his team are excellent to work with. Everything was completed in a timely fashion, on target with our budget, with extreme care. We couldn't have been more pleased with all of the work they have done.

They take extreme care with all of their work, the cleanest workers we have ever dealt with. JADE Construction built another home after this for our family, in addition to a re-construction of a commercial building

JADE Construction completed a complete renovation of a commercial building with 2 apartments and 2 retail stores. The building is almost 100 years old and was in need of a lot of work after years of improper care, we now have two beautiful apartments that were rented in no time and two stores that were rented just as fast at the living spaces above.

Jeff and his right-hand man Wellington of Jade Contracting were very courteous and professional. They showed up when they said they would. They called to give progress reports. They always returned our calls. They gave us hours of free advice during the course of the work on our house including codes, and secrets that only experienced contractors know. They went above and beyond their scope in doing some small things for free and eating some material costs. They don't nickle and dime you. They cleaned up after themselves each day and made an effort to try to keep our place livable. Jeff even came back to give me advice on how to insulate my attic after final payment. This had nothing to do with Jade?s scope of work. I would recommend them for any renovations, small or large.

Better than I could have expected. We are very happy.

From the first day I met Jeff, he was professional and honest. Construction of the addition began when promised and even through a cold and snowy winter, the project stayed on track and was completed on time and on budget. The craftsmanship met or exceeded my expectations and seven years later, we are still happy with the work.

The construction process was made as seamless as possible by Jeff and his team of subcontractors.
