Mark showed up on time and got right to work. The door opening was larger than the door, so he had to add materials (including sheet rock) in order for the the door to fit properly. Without asking, Mark gave us the Angie's List, and Senior Discount. We are the 2nd family members to use Mark and highly recommend using him.

I can?t say enough good things about this man! He had a great sense of humor and his work is very good! His ideas were wonderful! He was just terrific!

He was easy to deal with and clearly knew what he was doing. I'm completely satisfied with the work he did.

Mike put in 2 grab bars in the bathroom,1 grab bar in the hallway and 1 grab bar by a desk...all to assist my husband who has difficulty walking and getting up from a chair. He fixed our sliding shower doors which had fallen off the tract and had worn out rollers which were preventing the doors from sliding properly and remaining on track. I thought I had to replace the doors and was worried avout the expense. Instead Mike drove to Home Depot and came back with the rollers he needed to replace the worn out ones. The doors now functions as they did when we first purchased them 15 years ago. Mike put up a window shade in our dining room as well. He plastered a cracked ceiling area in a doorway.He fixed a wall mounted toilet paper holder. I had purchased a replacement but because Mike was able to expertly fix the old one I was able to return the new one and saved $20. I had asked to have the windows caulked but after Mike inspected them he pointed out that the cauling was still good but it was the fit of the window itself which was causing the problem. He offered to come back the next day at no charge to paint the ceiling area he had plastered and add weather stripping to fix the window problem but since we had many things scheduled for the following day I declined his kind offer. I would definitely have Mike do any other work around the house that needed to be done. He was capable, honest and kind. Overall, a very good experience.

When I told the handyman what problem I was facing, and the past "solutions", he quickly countered with his fix, which was exactly what I needed for the repair to be made successfully.

Mike and Mark from Above and Beyond have been so courteous from the beginning. Mike did the job for us and my wife and I are so pleased with his work he was so on the point with everything we needed done, it was minor stuff but for two people who are clueless with tools, Mike stepped in and took over the work with perfection thanks to Mike for helping us out. Mike was so good that my dad wants him to come over to his house to do stuff. Thanks guys will definitely recommend Above and Beyond.

Consultation was conducted by Mike but no follow up so no work was done. Also, price wise, we were not given a clear answer.

Mark was great! The house has a lot of work to do and he was up for the task! He was professional and efficient, barely stopping the entire day. The final product looks extremely professional. I would definitely recommend him and look forward to working with him in the future.

Mark arrived in a timely manner and got to work right away. He rolled up the rug under the outlet and set up his tools and ladder. He read the instructions and it took him about two hours to install the complicated ceiling fan with a wall mount programmer. He did an excellent job and cleaned up after himself. The job was originally $150 but I asked for and was given a senior citizen discount of $15. I would definitely use his services again. Thank you, Mark. :)

Everything went well. Mark is great. He knows his stuff, he is friendly and courteous. I will be using him again in the very near future. He's great.

Mark did most of the work in a little more than half a day. He came back a second time to grout the back splash and install the towel bar and toilet paper holder. (We didn't have all of those items ready for him the first day.) This bathroom hasn't looked so good since I've lived here--for close to twenty years. We've told Mark that we don't want to recommend him to others, because we don't want to have to wait when we need his help. However, in all fairness to him, he's outstanding--reliable, honest, and talented.

After being told by Home Depot Delivery that I'd basically have to remodel my kitchen in order to install my new standard sized dishwasher, I was heartbroken. I checked Angie's List saw that Above And Beyond had great reviews and were offering 3 different deals. I called Angie's List and had a great conversation with Stan. I wasn't sure how much time such a project would would need. After speaking with him, he assured me that my situation wouldn't be as costly or drastic as the delivery guy insinuated. The genius who had installed the kitchen floor tiles had "locked" the old washer in place. So, I needed them to be removed and replaced. Thank goodness I had extra tiles on hand. After I booked 4 hours of services, I spoke to Mark. He was very friendly and funny, and gave me confidence that he knew what he was doing. We went over the supplies that he would need, I picked those items up, so that we could save as much time as possible. The morning of our appointment, Mark called to let me know that he was on his way, but stuck in traffic. He arrived soon thereafter and got straight to work. Of course, I had to run out to pick up an 2 additional items, Mark kept working. He had disassembled and removed the old Dishwasher to the backyard, so that Sanitation could pick it up on Bulk trash day. Mark was able to remove the porcelain floor tiles, in question, without breaking them. He installed the new washer, tested the connections and ran it through its complete cycle. He seemed to get a kick out of my Ear to Ear Smile! Mark replaced, cemented and re grouted the tiles CORRECTLY! My floor and dishwasher look GREAT! No mess was left for me to cleanup, besides cleaning my floor after giving the tiles time to dry. I am a Happy Customer!!! I would definitely use Above And Beyond Carpentry, Inc. again.

We were very fortunate to have found such a conscientious and competent handyman in our first contact through Angie's List. As a new premium member, with the assistance of a courteous Angie's List customer service representative, we took advantage of a special deal to purchase 2 hours of handyman services for a reasonable price. To sweeten the deal Angie's List offered a $50 rebate. With time left over after Mark completed the wall mounting projects, he asked if we needed any other work done. We then told him of some gluing work, and the removal of a difficult stain on our wood floor which he succeeded in removing. He was interested that we get the best value for the two hours we had purchased.

Mark was phenomenal from start to finish, I was telling him Angie's list recommend him since the previous handyman I hired with a different company never showed up for my appointment. Mark with above and beyond carpentry came the same day I called! He Made me feel comfortable through the entire process and answered all my questions about the project while he was working. He was the best contractor I've ever encountered. Professional, timely, and efficient! He won my business in the future !

Mark was remarkable. Everything on my list was completed in the time given, and everything was executed with skill and care. He advised me on several things, gave me good advice, he fixed everything I asked him to fix, and did more than I asked on some things. The whole experience went beyond my expectations. Mark was personable and pleasant, but didn't waste a minute of either of our time. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark for whatever job he signs up to do.

Mr. Wirth is a professional in every sense of the word. He completed the jobs in a timely manner, was courteous and helpful, and cleaned up the work area on each of the 3 days. The 43-yr.-old wood doors look brand new, and the door saddles were perfectly installed [an assessment also made by a retired carpenter-friend]. The price he charges is fair. I would recommend Mr. Wirth without question.

Mark was great form the start. He got back to me shortly after I left him a message and we were able to schedule an appointment right away. He provides insurance, was here on time and was very friendly yet professional. I had been trying to get this done for 3 months by the maintenance staff at the building that I live at and they had all sorts of excuses of why they didn't show or had to rescheduled. I called Mark on a Thursday, desperate because I am expecting and my due date was a week from then. Today is Tuesday and the apartment is ready for the baby to come. Thanks Mark!

Mark was fantastic! Answers text calls and emails incredibly fast- super prompt - came on time for estimate and work. Works neatly - no cleanup, and great job. The best experience we've ever had with a handyman. Had all parts and machinery - didn't have to leave to get anything...lol. Nice guy too, played with my toddler who wouldn't leave him alone the entire day!

He is very thorough, inexpensive, and he does real good work.
