This remodeling project went very well--way better than I would have expected. The service stands out the most. In fact, I didn't know service like this was available nowadays. This was to be a rental & I'm an absentee landlord. Frankly, I was terrified of what a contractor might do. I have limited experience (and not all positive) with contractors. Warren made it easy & provided peace of mind. He did business professionally & promptly. Warren is knowledgeable about the market--he was able to offer good & appropriate advice. He also didn't gouge or inflate the work. He suggested several cost-effective solutions to several issues that popped up. If I had a question or an issue, I could reach Warren directly. This house was a mess. Friends & family came in after Warren & his crew were done & just couldn't believe it. Literally, their jaw dropped. Yet, what truly stunned me was an incident just as the house was about to be occupied by renters. I was in town only for the weekend tidying up the final details. An issue came up and I wasn't sure what to do. So, I called Warren. I hadn't seen Warren in months but he and a worker were at my house in an hour! Problem fixed. (I still find that unbelievable). Yes, I think I was lucky to find Warren--but that's why I use Angie's List. I expect I'll be calling him again.

As a first time homeowner, the thought of completely renovating a house was frightening. But Warren, the owner, made the process so easy and enjoyable. From the detailed estimate, to his timely and efficient work, and his accessibility and professionalism, I could not say more positive things about US Home and Remodeling. I lived in Manhattan during the renovations with a newborn baby and so I was not able to supervise the renovations regularly. Warren constantly called me with updates and questions and I never felt like I was unaware of what was happening in my home. I trusted him completely and would recommend him to anyone looking to renovate their home, big or small! I'm so grateful that we found Warren! My house was scary when we bought it and now is beautiful!

His estimate was much too high so I didn?t use him. He called me the same day that I placed the inquiry on the phone, and then he came two days later. He is well-versed and he was very thorough with his estimate. He was cordial and the presentation of the quote was thorough, professional, and well-presented.

The guy was very nice. He was very informative and very helpful. I got 2 or 3 different quotes. At this point we might be moving houses so it is a moot point. I would definitely recommend him. He gave me some real good suggestions for saving money. He spent some time with me and didn't charge for the estimate. I would definitely call him again if I decided to have some work done.

They came very promptly, understood the problem, and proceeded to fix it.

There were two Mexican people who were not professional because we had to supply all the tools them. However, the work they did was satisfactory. I think they were fair. I think the price was right. I am not likely to use this company again in the future.

That project went well and they did a nice job. We spent about $7000 on that project. We would recommend them to others because they were precise. We had a couple of estimates and when they came up with their estimate, they were really detailed and said exactly what they would be doing. It was like a 25 step by step description of the job, so it was a detailed estimate. The workers that came out were very organized and they finished the job promptly. It took more than a week, but they were always here without a break.

We had used Warren for bathroom remodeling and door replacement (see separate report). Painting was included in the bathroom job. When we saw what a good job they did, clean and careful, we hired them for other areas. They were all difficult areas to paint. The kitchen has uneven walls, the den is old paneling. They were very experienced and made helpful suggestions in terms of color and molding..They added round corner molding where needed and it came out great. Very clean and careful. We would highly recommend them.

Warren the owner was very available from start to finish. Easy to communicate with. His crew was terrific. His price was very reasonable(We did get 2 other estimates). He could have done it for less than we spent, but we wanted certain upgrades. His advice and the advice of his foreman were very helpful. He understood we wanted something nice without spending too much. And that is how it came out. There were some extra repairs his crew did for us, replacing metal doors and baseboard covers and doors. They were difficult to do and needed extra work, which was no problem. We were concerned about dust particles traveling to other areas of the house so the area was shielded with plastic from the rest of the house. Clean well done job. Would highly recommend them. Had them do paint job later, very clean, great crew, reviewing separately.

Dealing with Warren was a pleasure. He showed up on time the day we scheduled the walk through for the estimate and I recieved the estimate the next day. His estimate was fair for the work to be performed and his work crew was excellant. They showed up on time, cleaned up every day and made sure the doors were locked when they left. Their work quality was also excellant. Several add-ons were fairly priced. Additionally, he repaired a soffit section in the kitchen for which he did not charge. All of the work, including the add-ons were completed within the original time frame. Any minor corrections were made with no hassles. It was a pleasure to deal with Warren and his crew. I intend on using US Home Remodling in the future and I highly recommend them.

I do not live near the apartment and became very ill during the renovation. I could not supervise or even check the work. Warren did everything he promised on his own. A friend would check in once in a while. If there was any problems, Warren would take care of them after one phone call.

The price they quoted us was about $5,000. We are in the process of using them. We decided to use them based on the recommendations and also because they were recommended by some of the local distributors. They were very polite and not pushy.

When I wasn't able to get the wall tile I loved, they got it for me. They cleaned up as they worked, at the end of the day and upon completion of the job. Warren Glick, who is the owner, is one of the most responsive, considerate and professional people I had have the pleasure to work with. His crew was also courteous, capable and cleaned up after themselves everyday. During the job, they encountered some additonal damages which they took care of without additional cost. It was basically a hassle free experience. The job took 10 days. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a gen'l contractor

I was extremely pleased with the results. I LOVE my new bathroom. It was done beyond my expectations. Everyone I show the pictures to says it looks like a hotel. Exactly the look I was going for. Warren was great. I enjoyed working with him and his team. I am glad I chose him to do the job. I spoke to others, some of them are on Angies List also, but Warren was still the best choice. If I had to say something bad about my experience I can only say it took two weeks which was hard since I only have one bathroom. But overall that was acceptable considering the amount of work that had to be done. Thanks Warren. I am sure we will meet again!

They were somewhat pushy. They were a bit expensive even from what the guy was telling me onsite when he was looking at the wall. When the price quotes came back, they were double. They pretty much priced themselves out of us being able to use them. They were a half an hour earlier than what we agreed upon.

Warren came over and gave us an estimate of what it would cost. He was very personable and honest. The workers arrived as scheduled and worked quickly and carefully. The work was completed on time and we were very satisfied with the quality of the finished product.

The proprietor, Warren, takes good care of his company and his customers. His crew of 3 men were here on time every morning and were professional, skilled, courteous, and neat. Warren was in constant contact with me every day to tell me what he hoped to accomplish and to ask if everything was meeting my expectations. The only problems I had were minor and were taken care of right away. The agreed design of the steps proved to be a problem after they were in, due to my height and a low ceiling. Without blinking he instructed his men to re-do the steps to allow max headroom.I had three companies give me an estimate. U S Home gave me a price that was between the other two. I am very happy that I went with them, it couldn't have been a smoother experience. The job was estimated to take three weeks and it did.

Warren and his workers were on the job faithfully every day. They cleaned up after themselves daily before leaving. They did a very thorough job. They finished on schedule and I am pleased with the results.

I have had work done by this contractor before, and was extremely satisfied, so when it came to doing my kitchen they were the only ones I would call. They ripped out my kitchen and installed all of the above items. My kitchen was left clean everyday. No depris, tools ,etc were ever left behind. The job went very smoothly,without any problems, and in a timely manner. The workers were very prompt and courteous. I was and am completely satisfied with the way everything turned out.

My husband and I went to the Nassau Coliseum Home Show and signed up for an estimate. Warren called and set up an appointment, for an estimate, in less than a week. We had a proposal within two days from the inspection date. WOW - You know we were extremely pleased with that. His price was very fair and we were impressed with his web site.
