They were wonderful to work with. Easy to get a hold of and quick to respond. We were scheduled for the repair quickly and they came everyday to work on the job. The job was finished on time. The owner was here the entire time. He and his son were friendly and polite. Very nice people. They were very clean and efficient. They did an expert job and I plan to use them again in the fall. I highly recommend this company. The den has never looked this good.

I purchased the Big Deal and Steve responded quickly and installed my attic ladder. Steve was professional clean and prompt. I would use Steve again for future work on my home.

An absolute gentleman; he always went out of his way to solve any problem and accomodate us as customers. Top quality work that was a pleasant surprise, especially after Hurricane Sandy. Can not say enough nice things about him. I would recommend him to anybody. We had been going through tough times, and for somebody like him to come along really changed alot for us outside of this project.

Steve & his son have worked for me before in my prier house witch is listed in his reviews. They didn?t let me down then & new they would do a perfect job again and I was right. The room for my new bathroom was a little small but with some clever layout of the toilet & shower everything worked. He recommended a rounded front shower stall with doors that open like pocket doors to save room they worked great. The new front door is air tight and works perfectly. I look forward to having Steve & his son Steve Jr. back again.

Great -- I love my new bathroom. It looks beautiful. Steve took a horrible situation and made it look amazing. Steve and his son are a pleasure to do business with and the quality of their work is second to no one. I found them to be honest and very respectful of my home. They will be back for other projects.

He is remarkable! He is a master craftsman and all of the work he has done has held up. He will always show up when expected and communicates on the rare times that he is running behind. We trusted him and are very grateful.

We had an excellent experience! Having used two contractors in the past (one at our home and one at our office, we were reluctant to have any more work done. Steve was highly recommended to us and he did what he said he would do in the timeframe (even less time) than he promised us. He was here if we had any questions or needed to discuss anything with him. Everyone who has seen his work has said that he did an excellent job. He made excellent suggestions. He (and his son) ripped out our old paneling, the bar, the lighting, etc. and put up new sheetrock, lights, spackled and painted. All that was left to do was the carpeting. It went from looking like a 1950's room to a very modern room. They re-did our deck - power washed it, stripped it down to the wood, hammered any loose nails back in and painted it so that it looks brand new. They were finished earlier than we expected even though the deck and painting the laundry room in the basement were add-ons. He needed to come back to finish painting my back door because my alarm company had to connect something. As soon as we called him he came back and finished up. What a pleasure! His son is just as competent and conscientious as his Dad. We are thrilled and would highly recommend him and I'm sure we will hire him again in the future.

It was great. It was spectacular! They did great work. I was very impressed.

We had a serious problem with our basement and needed to gut it. Steve came to the rescue and transformed a nightmare into a beautiful, cozy new basement. The quality of his work is outstanding. It really is hard to find any flaws if not impossible. He clearly takes pride in his work. He is a really nice guy and a pleasure to deal with. We would highly recommend him to anyone! ...... By the way,.. he can also really sing! LOL

Steve from S& D Construction did a wonderful job on my basement. He used top quality materials at a reasonable price and the finished product turned out beautiful. I would highly recommend him to anyone. All of the walls and ceiling were skim coated and the seams are non-existent. He also did some plumbing work, trim work and installed doors. All of which also turned out great. I thank him for his services and would use him again.

Very happy with the project from start to finish. Honestly it went so fast it feels like it never happened. But my house is dry and warm and were very happy.

All the jobs preformed by SHD went exceptionally well and within the time limits promised. We would highly recommend SHD for any/all home improvement jobs - wood work, building a bedroom, closet, tile work, etc.
