QUICK RESPONSE RESTORATION INC

Called Quick Response and they ARE quick! They wanted to immediately leave a large fan to dry it out. When expert on mold came and said there was no leak, QR removed the fans. The fans were not necessary but they still charged me almost $1,000

Initially had QR in to dry out multiple areas that had water damage due to roof leak. That part of the job went relatively well although I did have to call them to find out why they didn't come to pick up equipment when scheduled. I asked for quote to do the repair work because I wanted to avoid dealing with multiple contractors and time delays. They assured me they would the job within 2 weeks. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get an estimate from them in a timely manner. I had to keep calling, my insurance agent called them multiple times and they didn't even return his calls. When they finally sent a quote, I couldn't believe the price - ridiculously inflated. I eventually found another quality contractor that did the job at less than 40% of what they quoted!

They were very responsive, efficient and professional. They came in with their dryers and dehumidifiers right away. They drilled holes in the sheet rock to help in drying it out because the water line was about a foot up the wall. They had to rip out all the flooring in all the rooms because we are on a concrete slab. Overall drying took about two weeks. Reconstruction and move back in took a little over a month as the flooring was back ordered, which was no fault of Quick Response. We had to stay in a hotel until all work was completed. They also packed up all our belongings that we could not fit in our garage and put them in their storage facility.

I was very lucky to have them do the clean up for me because it was pretty bad. They did not rush the job and they made sure that every area was restored the way it was before the problem occurred.

IT WAS A WASTE OF TIME. WE WOUND UP JUST HAVING THEM PULL THE CARPET OUT AND WE COULD HAVE DONE THAT AT THE BEGINNING AND SAVED 4,000 DOLLARS. THE SMELL OF THE MOLD AND MILDEW WAS VERY STRONG EVEN WITH ALL THE FANS GOING. EVENTUALLY WE HAD TO HAVE THE CARPET PULLED OUT AND THROWN OUT.
