First person I met was Mitch at Homecraft and he gave us excellent ideas and helped us design the kitchen that we always wanted. Everyone was very professional and we were very happy with all the work that was done. Sal and Frank were here every step of the way and I have never seen anyone work as hard as they did--paying so such attention to the details and making sure everything got done right. Every day the area was cleaned up when they left which made the process go very smoothly. Would highly recommend them to anyone. LOVE my new kitchen.

We recently had my bathroom remodeled by Homecraft Remodeling in Plainview, NY. The quality of craftsmanship and the professionalism of all involved are exceptional. Getting estimates, listening to varying opinions and making decisions that affect the value of your home can be daunting without an honest, experienced professional to guide you. Finding a Contractor to come into your home and demolish a room and put it back together with sensitivity and care can be difficult. We were lucky. We found Norman Gavin who treated us with integrity and fairness throughout. Although we were confronted with understandable delays, caused by conflicting schedules that extended the job a few days we are ecstatic with the result. Any issues that came up were dealt with quickly and honestly. We have the highest praise for all who helped make our dream a reality and highly recommend you consider Homecraft Remodeling as your Contractor of choice for your next project.

My husband and I wanted some changes along the way and Norman was very responsive and helpful. He and John both were very good about getting back to us whenever we had questions about design or products. Quality of work was excellent and we would use them again

John came to our house on time, was courteous and professional, and helped us visualise some different possibilities. He also took the time to mock up some plans for us and emailed them to us later that same day. While we haven't quite committed to moving ahead with the project yet, John and HomeCraft will be high on our list of vendors when the time comes.

After shopping around and comparing bids we decided to go with Homecraft. Norman gave us a very competitive pricing, and worked with us to address every detail promptly. His workers were very professional and the job was done within budget. We are very happy with the results and enjoying our new bathroom. Thank you

Perfectly. Work was done on schedule and as promised. Workers were professional and all debris was taken away. I am neurotic and any issue I had was addressed (tile next to wall was too gray compared to others).

Had seen numerous ads for Homecraft Remodeling Corp. in local community papers, as well as read stellar reviews on Angie's List for this company. Called to discuss what needed to be done. Explained we did not need a total bathroom reno and was assured that they did do PARTIAL reno's. Set appt for someone to come to house to discuss project. On day of appt, (I believe his name was Norm) showed up approx 15 minutes late w/out a call to indicate he'd be late. He did apologize & also stated that his designer was not able to be there because she was held up @ showeroom w/another client. Due to a frozen & burst pipe in our tub/shower area, we needed to replace that area. We wanted to remove the tub altogether & have a full stand-up shower installed w/a bench, new window, new shower faucets, new vanity top & faucet & replace or respackle the ceiling, as it was sand textured & dated. We did not want to replace the floor, tiolet or vanity, as they were not damaged & still in good condition. Right away he was very adament about replacing EVERYTHING. He said if the tub was being removed then the floor needed to be replaced, as they would need to break-up tile around tub to remove it. If the floor had to be replaced, then the toliet & vanity did as well. He was very curt & said he had to consult w/his "designer" & get back to us. We told him we did not need a "designer" as were weren't doing any structural changes, just replacing existing, besides I had already selected all the tile, faucets, countertop & sink needed for the reno. We just wanted an estimate on the work needed to be done. He NEVER called or came back. We did find a contractor that completed the project, w/out needing to replace the tile floor, toilet or vanity,,,,,,,,,,,,, and it came out BEAUTIFUL !!!

Home Craft Remodeling had helped us select all the tiles, fixtures, cabinetry, etc. necessary to rebuild two bathrooms. The quality of material and workmanship is excellent. My wife and I are very happy with the outcome and highly recommend Home Craft.

My first project with Homecraft was a few years ago. They renovated my downstairs first floor kitchen and bath, which was unfortunately damaged by Sandy. Norman came to my home and made some designs that were even nicer than before. They quickly and efficiently accomplished my remodel in no time. Their help with the style and colors were great. As this was an unexpected project, we were so glad that the project was started quickly and completed just as efficiently. Many of my neighbors who also suffered damage were still even waiting to start their projects by the time Homecraft was even done in my home. It was not even a question whom we would call when we decided to do another project upstairs in our master bath. If you are remodeling, hire them! The price is right, and the workmanship is top notch.

I have heard many horror stories about contractors. That they aren't punctual, that they start a job and never come back to finish it, that the workmanship isn't great, that they bait and switch you on material. NONE OF THIS APPLIES to HOMECRAFT REMODELING. It was such a pleasure to work with Norman and John from the beginning to the end of the job. I was looking to finish my basement and searched Angie's list for highly rated general contractors. I found 5 contractors and had each come out and provide a quote. Homecraft was not only the most competitive but they were the only ones who actually put together a computerized drawing (CAD) of the basement so I could see what they would plan to do. With that drawing I was able to communicate exactly what I wanted and I knew that there wasn't going to be any confusion because it was drawn out for me. Other companies either just gave me a quote or scribbled a very rough drawing on paper of the basement. The craftsmanship was excellent and they worked quickly. They communicated the project would take 4 weeks and they were able to knock it out in 4 weeks. If I had a change to make here or there they were accommodating and understanding. Norman, the owner, was great to deal with and so was John. I was very happy that I chose to work with Homecraft. The finished product was great. I am thrilled with the work they did and HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU USE THEM. They are a diamond in the rough on Angie's. You would be silly not to use them as your contractor.

This was an extremely poor experience with this provider. Considering all of the reviews and the feedback we would have loved to have met with this provider, however, we were never given the chance to meet them. My Mother owns an 80+ year old house that needs to have considerable work done. I researched Remodeling Contractors on Angie's List and gave her several Contractors that I thought were the best (all with "A" Ratings and Super Service Awards). I put them in order for her and placed Homecraft Remodeling on the top of the list. My Mother called them and set up an appointment for 4:30 PM on Wednesday, August 5th. When I called her the following day to see how the appointment had gone, she told me that no one had shown up. She said that she had arrived at 4:10 PM to await the Contractor, was later joined by my Sister and they both waited until 6:15 PM and then left when no one had arrived. I told my Mother that I would follow-up with Homecraft on Friday, August 7th because, at that point, she was not inclined to call them; after they did not arrive at the appointment and she did not hear from them afterword. I called Homecraft on Friday, August 7th a little after 1:00 PM and had to leave a message. After almost a week now, I have not received an answer from Homecraft either.

They did a great job, they were very professional Also very neat and showed up when they told us they would. Also answered All our question. we give them an A

We were extremely pleased with the professionalism, workmanship, and customer service afforded us by Homecraft. We had already spoken to other remodelers and were most impressed with Homecraft's representative, John. John arrived to our house at the appointed time, took measurements, provided us with some excellent suggestions, and made another appointment for my wife and I to visit their showroom. On that visit, we saw the array of products and services available to us. John also did a fine job of walking us through the process of the rip out and remodel, and of what we can expect to happen on the days the work would be done. A few days later, I called and spoke to Norman, who gave me a day-by-day description of how the job would progress. This was completely accurate. Their workers were conscientious, respectful of our property and ourselves personally, and did excellent work. There was always a supervising worker present throughout each day, which made me feel more comfortable. Whenever they had a question concerning our wants and needs for individual details, they made sure to ask. Not only that, but they always did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of the day. Our bathroom is now beautiful, and functions perfectly. The service was exceptional. Whenever I had a question, I called their office and asked to speak to Norman. If Norman was unavailable at the moment, he always made a call back to me within the hour. Needless to say, I was extremely pleased with the level of service that I received from them. In short, I could not have been happier with this remodeling experience, and would definitely use them again in the future. This company is what you look for when remodeling.

We are so happy with our new kitchen! My husband and I had put off our new kitchen renovation for years after hearing the horror stories of kitchen remodeling. We found Homecraft Remodeling Inc. reviewed on Angie's List and saw all positive reviews for this company. After contacting and Homecraft and meeting with Norman, we were ready to move ahead with our new kitchen plans. Norman was very patient and listened to all our needs and concerns. His crew were all very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with as well as being neat and considerate about keeping our home clean throughout the project. We would recommend Homecraft to anyone who is looking for a reliable contractor for kitchen or bath remodeling and would not hesitate to hire them again in the future.

We were very happy with Homecraft Remodeling beginning with the meeting with Mitch, the designer, to the selection of materials with Norman, the owner, Mitch and Ruthie. The showroom had a vast selection of materials to choose from in all price ranges. Scheduling and delivery of materials to the house was impeccable. The crew, Anthony R, tile and carpentry, John, electrical and spackling, Vinny, plumbing were extremely professional and very skilled. They took exceptional pride in their work. The men were here early everyday to start working. At the end of the day, the house was clean. Whenever there was more than one way of doing something, we were told the pros and cons of each way, but ultimately we made the decision. Norman, the owner was out of town for a few days and before he left he gave us his personal cell phone number in the event we needed him. Just amazing!!! Today there are a myriad of workers in the construction field, but it is evident from these two bathrooms Homecraft remodeled for us, Norman employs only Craftsmen. Norman said two weeks to complete both bathrooms and that's the time it took.

I was cleaning a towel bar and was too rough with it and it came off in my hand. I called Norman and he asked me to send him a picture of it and i did. He then got in touch with me and set up an appointment for a service tech to come and repair it. When the service tech arrived he showed me I.D. and said he was sent by Norman from Homecraft and was here to fix the towel bar. He was very courteous and i directed him to the bathroom upstairs. It only took the service tech named Frank ten or fifteen minutes to replace the towel bar. He cleaned everything up and was very professional.. I asked him the price for fixing it and he told me Norman said there would be no charge. Although Norman and his company built my dormered bathroom upstairs 6 years ago i was very happy that it was still warrantied. The bathroom looks great as does the kitchen downstairs Norman and his company did for me ten years ago. I still get compliments on both the kitchen and the bathroom .I called Norman and thanked him. i still recommend Norman and Homecraft to anyone i speak with who needs any sort of work done in their house. From the moment Mitch walked through the door, I knew Homecraft was the contractor to use. He was thoroughly professional, knowledgeable and honest. Responded promptly with detailed quotation. Invited me to showroom, where Mitch and Norman spent hours with my sister and I while we browsed through tiles and fixtures. Went over blueprints in detail with us. Shared their expertise regarding layout, etc. We were given a start date and finish date. And, despite unforeseeable problems (rotted joists), Norman made sure that the job was completed by the promised date. Every person who walked through the door, from the men who did the rip out, plumbers, carpenters, tilers, was extraordinarily professional, neat, clean and so considerate. We were consulted throughout the project to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted. My new bathroom is BEAUTIFUL!

Very professional and friendly from the start, the team helped me decide on the look of my new bathroom by listening to my sense of style and budget concerns. A large array of tile, cabintry and flooring is on display at the showroom and every effort was made at the design consultaion to make sure I understood what the finished product would look like, so I felt secure about the product and price. The construction team was also professional, friendly and very clean. They put drop cloth and paper on every floor they carried the supplies through,cleaned up after every work day and let me know what time they would come in the next day, making for a pleasant, low stress enviorment. The communication of this company is excellent. Anytime I had a question or needed to confirm a delivery or payment, there would be somone in the office who could answer my question and make sure the project was running smoothly. The workmen would tell me each morning what they were doing that day and if another workman (plumber, carpenter etc.) would be coming in that day and made sure they could contact me if needed. Overall, a very good experience with a remodeling company and absolutely beautiful results!

They remodeled my bathroom. The services and workmanship was great. We were satisfied with the bathroom once it was completed. Any problems/concerns we had was handled in a timely manner. We have no complaints regarding Homecraft Remodeling and would recommend them to others.

Bathroom revo went great. We used them before for our kitchen in Dec. 2012. Very professional and finished in and around time frame.

I know he’s a busy man, but he was able to squeeze us in. The cabinets have come in quickly and I’m very excited to see the end result! I’m impressed that he’s so knowledgeable and able to fit everything else into the existing granite footprint -- which I know isn’t easy. I’m also impressed at how meticulous he is.

Homecraft Remodeling Corp was EXCELLENT! The bathroom was gutted. The men who did the rip out were excellent. They covered the rug, the furniture and the TV from the dust. Everyone who worked on the bathroom was excellent! I can't say enough about Homecraft Remodeling Corp.

I was very disappointed because the drawing they did was offered by other companies for free. It was a rough, computer mockup of what their ideas were. Other companies gave us much more professional & detailed drawings. At our last meeting, we said some changes we wanted & the final drawing did not reflect these changes. He was concerned on saving us money for our project, but I think he was more focused on selling us a project than the design itself. They were kind of sloppy about it.
