George Apap Painting

They were very nice. The power wash was so good that I did not need painting to be done. The house looked wonderful. Their price was fair. They have always been on top of everything. They are going to be doing painting for me as well.

They did an excellent job. I do not remember how much I spent.

George came out on a Monday and told me that I could have two painters the following day since it was raining. I needed to have the job done quickly and I hired them because of the reviews I read on Angies list. Arik and Scott came out at 9 a.m. promptly and finished the job in two days. The price was not the lowest price, but it was in the middle, but it was a magnificent job. They cut the lines for the ceiling to perfection. I could not be happier, and I would certainly recommend them again.

George Apap has a courteous office staff, and was able to meet my at my convenience for an estimate. Estimate turn around time was quick. Other projects came up that did not allow my personal funds to cover the expense. I did not have the work done by George Apap or any other company. During the estimate they seemed very knowledgeable.

He started the work 3/3/12 and finished on 3/9/12. The painters were courteous and efficient. The company had to return immediatly for touch up work. I had to call and they did that. The carpenter was also courteous and efficient. My only problem was the amount of plaster dust that was from the result of painting. They covered everything with plastic.I don't know why it happened, but it was everywhere. I am happy with their services.

Due to my schedule the starting time of day one was not till 11AM so the crew showed up and started inside and also outside. The inside guys moved all the furniture and covered everything in the bedrooms. Outside the shutters taken down and the whole house got power washed. The men stayed late to finish our bedroom which they didn't have to do but they knew it was the only bed in the house. Day two was amazing the crew was like a well oiled machine, windows got covered on one side then painting started while the men covered other windows and shutters got cleaned and painted. Most of the trim was painted too. By day three all that remained was some trim, the doors including 2 garage doors, shutters installed and clean up. All I can say is that this company is great, the office people and supervisors are very nice and easy to work with. The crew was very friendly and helpful. They covered everything inside and outside, not one drop of paint on the floor, walks or grass it seems like the yard was left cleaner then when they first got here. And I had a 10% off coupon! My only regret is they can't paint my house in Florida.

They are extremely professional. They are very customer service oriented. They provide very good quality work. Even the staff is extremely professional, like the painters that come on site are extremely professional as well. Their price is competitive. It wasn't a bargain. I hear that they are more expensive than most.

George Apap Painting was unfailingly responsive, punctual, diligent, and committed to doing a excellent job for me. They went beyond the call of duty - occasionally coming on weekends to meet my schedule. The advice given to me was professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. They were very considerate of my house - very neat and careful. They worked around other contractors in the house with ease - clearly used to working on construction sites. They met my requests with unfailing politeness and responsiveness. Very pleasant people to work with. I would definitely use them again, and highly recommend them.

The work turned out very good and they did an excellent job. They are a great company and I would recommend them.

The vendor arranged to have an estimator meet me at the house to go over what needed to be done. The estimator was extremely helpful by making recommendations on what really needed to be done and the different colors that would compliment the house in its surroundings. Once the contract was signed the project was assigned a start and completion date. They arrived at the appointed date and time and completed the work as planned. I am completely satisfied with the quality of the work and all of the personnel assigned to the project.

I received quotes from 5 painters. Two were one-man operations. All quoted prices within a couple of hundred dollars of each other. Appointment was made to discuss job and received a quote for the work to be done in 2 or 3 days. Day before job was started, job supervisor came to look over job and said that they would be spray painting the ceiling. This was recommended because he wasn't sure the popcorn finish would withstand the paint being applied with a roller. 3 workers arrived on time and were courteous and professional. They moved and covered furniture as necessary and cleaned up at end of each day. Afternoon of first day job supervisor came to check work. He found that because of the cold weather the plastering/taping of the skylights would have to be re-done. The skylights were re-done that afternoon and I was told to keep the heat on high overnight so the plaster could set properly which it did. The whole job was finished in 2 days instead of 3. Only criticisms I had was that I wasn't told at the time of the quote that the ceilings would be spray painted; the supervisor did not come back to inspect at the end of the 2nd day; and too much paint was ordered for the 2 bathrooms (1-1/2 gallons were left over).

Everything looked very good. It was a little hard to get them scheduled initially. I think this was because it was a smaller job and they wanted to wait for a rainy day. Once they did come they knocked out the job in one visit. They were very attentive to the customer and made sure that we were happy with all the color selections.

They arrived on time, worked with little interuption, and finished when promised. The quality was only surpassed by the professionalism of the crew. They are the BEST !!!!!

They were excellent we are very pleased. They were very careful with the details. They were clean. They have a great staff.

They will be starting the work next week. The interaction has been great so far.

The work was satisfactory. I wouldn?t necessarily recommend them to a friend of mine. I had to do a little cleaning and touch up of my own after they left.

This is a "continuation" report. This year they got the color of the trim wrong, so that last year's trim and this year's did not match; neither matched the original color I had asked for, but the difference was less last year. So this year they repainted all the trim. They also neglected a corner of the house that was difficult to reach - the painters last year left it for this year, and the painters this year thought it was done last year. However, they made everything right very promptly, and the house and garage look great. Because I had had some difficulty with the price, George negotiated the price last year, and the total cost was much lower than the original estimate for painting house and garage!

They are excellent. I would never use another painter in my life. As far as I am concerned, I have used many painters and George Apap is the best I have ever used. He is the only I would recommend. I found them very professional. They come when they say they will. I found their price to be reasonable. They work with me around my schedule. They are not pushy. The owner, George Apap, comes to the premises. He knows exactly what it is that needs to be done, so there is no confusion. It was a very good experience.

It was fine. They did a wonderful job. We were very happy. They were very efficient. They did the job. They seemed to do excellent work and very fast. They cleaned up behind themselves very efficiently. They were responsive to any comments we had if there was anything that we wanted them to do as part of the job.

It has turned out great. They are very professional. They did their job. They did exactly what they said they would do.
