Roadway met and exceeded all of our expectations. This is a company that truly cares about customer service. We got a call to schedule a pick-up time first thing on Monday morning after we submitted a request over the weekend and the person we spoke to then was very friendly and happy to accommodate our requests. We also got a call the day before they came confirming our pick up time. The crew arrived 20 minutes early to get set-up and fill out paper work so that they were moving our stuff on time. They were all very friendly, responsive to all of our requests, and worked incredibly fast. Roadway also followed up the next day with a call to ensure we were satisfied with the service we received. Overall, it was worth every penny and brought a lot of ease to the stressful situation of moving.

Let me start by saying that trying to find movers in New York City is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. You will eventually find one, but you're gonna get pricked along the way. That's why I chose my mover through Angie's list. So, I called in to Roadway and explained what I needed. I guess due to the size of my move and the packing services needed, they offered to send in their In Home Surveyor Jeffrey. He came in, did an list of what needed to be moved, explained the packing service and gave me a flat price for the move. I liked Roadway from the get go, and my girlfriend felt comfortable with Jeffrey, and his cute little Roadway Smart Car. So we signed on with them for the move. The movers arrived a few minutes prior to nine am on the day of the move, and the head mover, Jose was awesome. He went over all of the paperwork, explained that we had a flat price, and even gave my girlfriend Gwen, a couple of boxes, just in case there was a few things that she would like to pack. Which she did. By one pm, these guys has everything packed wrapped and on the truck and on the way to my new apartment. When we arrived, I offered to buy a couple of pizza pies for Jose and his crew, but he kindly declined, and asked if we could wait until they were done. I kinda understand where he was coming from, as it would be hard to work on a full stomach. By five pm, the move was done, the pizza was on the way, and Jose and the guys were taking all of their equipment back downstairs to the truck. Jose went over the final paperwork with me, and we discussed how they placed the boxes I must say that after using three different movers in the last six or so years, I think that I finally found a mover that I would use again. They were punctual, efficient, and knew exactly what they were doing. Most importantly, the price that they quoted was the price that I paid. It is nice to know that when you actually set a budget, that there are vendors out there that will allow you to stay with in that budget. Thanks to you Roadway....

I contacted approximately a dozen different moving companies for quotes. Roadway was the only company who reached out to me and offered to do a free on site estimate. Jeffrey, the company's Relocation Manager, came to my apartment to do my estimate. He was friendly, professional, thorough and completely candid about all possible moving costs. As my moving plans developed over then next few days, Jeff and other staff at Roadway were responsive and helpful in scheduling my move date, as well as answering any lingering questions. On move day, a crew of three arrived on time with a large Roadways truck. They swept in, itemized, shrink wrapped, boxed, moved and otherwise took care of business like total pros. They took great care with all my furniture. They were also patient in accommodating my small picky requests during the move. For example, I requested that my microwave placed inside a box and they were happy to do that with no additional charge tacked on. They also placed some shrink wrap around a delicate lampshade for me. While doing all this, they managed to clear out my 1 bedroom apartment in a little over 2 hours. Roadway then emailed me letting me know what to expect during the next steps of my move. Roadways then called me a few days in advance to confirm the day. The driver called me the day before and the day of the move to confirm his arrival time. The crew of two who moved me in NC were just as professional as the crew in NYC. Roadway's price was slightly higher than estimates I received from other moving companies, but I also felt their on site estimate was more thorough and accurate. I was never surprised with any hidden fees or unanticipated costs. It's also apparent that Roadway doesn't cut any corners when it comes to the quality of their service. So in the end I felt satisfied with the price. I couldn't have done it myself with a U-Haul for much less. Roadway did much more than move my stuff from point A to point B. They gave me peace of mind and helped make a difficult life transition a little (actually A LOT) easier. I would recommend Roadway to anyone. Keep up the great work guys!

it was our first time using roadway moving and it was a success, we needed someone to move our old dining room set to another house to make room for our new set in time for the holidays, after requesting their service we were contacted immediately by their office to setup the appointment, the process was friendly and the salesperson Ken took the time to ask about our needs and offered helpful suggestions their movers arrived on time on the day of pickup, the movers packed our dining room carefully and was quick to notice that there was shelves missing in my china cabinet (we forgot that we had the extra shelves in the attic) and moved everything to the other house quickly, nothing broken. everything as promised

roadway was excellent! i had to move again and i was looking for a good deal with a reputable moving company, not only that the service was great i also bought a deal an Angie's for $279 for moving. from the moment i bought the deal they contacted me and helped me estimate the cost of the move, they offer in home estimate but i didn't think it was needed since i had little amount of stuff to move. the guys were professional and polite, they were fast and careful and finished within the 3 hours deal. it was a great experience like i have never had moving before, i really cant believe moving its behind me already! will recommend and use again if needed.

The service provider was transparent and very upfront about the travel time.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they are going to be doing work for me this weekend. It went very well and they set up the coupon. The company representatives have already called me as far as times. They have provided excellent, excellent service.

The company was very professional, timely and reasonable. We asked them to come to the apartment to give us a binding quote and they did. The staff was courteous, timely and professional in wrapping furniture and loading truck

They arrived 15 mins earlier than scheduled. I received a phone call half hour before they arrived. After an hour they arrived, it felt like a hurricane cleaned the house. Adrian, the one in charged of the crew, was very professional and showed me he cared about my family belongings. At the destination, we had Gatorade ready for them. They finished within the estimated time. They placed everything where I wanted it. The office called me after the guys finished at my home to see how everything went. From beginning to the end, it was shown to me that customer satisfaction is what this company is after. They did everything they promised to do.

The gentleman essentially harrassed us on our decision. He was very pushy over the phone and through email. He gave me misinformation about another moving company that we were looking at as well.

Up until now they've been nothing but nice and courteous and accomodating and reasonably priced.
