Roadway Moving

Genuinely the best, most efficient, most professional moving company I have ever worked with. I recently moved from New York City to Dallas, and not only was the move more affordable than any other quotes I received, but they single-handedly wrapped every single dish and item that I had and insured the safety of every piece for the cross state move. I did the pack for you package and it is exactly as it sounds, I did not have to do a thing. They dissembled my furniture and reassembled it perfectly when I got to Dallas AND not one thing was missing or broken upon arrival. PLUS it got to me in days of being packed and my moving specialist updated me throughout the entire process. The movers were SO kind, so professional and super accommodating throughout the entire process. 20/10 would recommend. Moving is so incredibly stressful typically but Roadway truly took all the stress away and took care of it all.

Roadway Moving (subcontracted by Northeastern Movers) lost 100 of my Client's 130 boxes in a move from NYC to MN last year!! Can you even imagine receiving the news that ¾ of your valuables, heirlooms, and memorabilia--including those of your recently deceased husband--are missing because a company you hired, paid, and trusted amazingly LOST an ENTIRE CRATE of boxes? It’s heartbreaking and frustrating and financially devastating! We remain ready and willing to resolve this matter, and they have ignored our recent pleas for fair reimbursement. Moving is an incredibly stressful and costly process anyway, but this takes the cake. Please consider this in choosing your mover!

Amazing movers! Used Roadway recently when helping my company (Japan Crate / Bokksu) move our NYC HQ across Manhattan. Apartments are difficult enough, but Roadway was able to pack up a 7,500sq foot office and transport everything in perfect condition to our new space same-day — including organizing boxes, dissembling furniture, and safely securing a lot of electronics. A friend recommended them to me, and I’ll definitely be recommending them to my friends too.

I RARELY make reviews and this one I couldn’t help but create a review for these guys. Not only was booking with roadway crazy easy, but the process from the time they showed up to the time they left was nothing but absolute bliss which is never something you hear about with moving so let me give you the full run down. Leading up to this move I was more anxious than I was for any other, I loved my home and neighbors so that had me stressed a ton to leave. From the moment their team showed up they could tell I was stressed and gave me the most amazing pep talk and (like I know that’s not their job to do but it just goes to show the kindness and character of the people they hire and that’s so important when handling your items I think!!) they made me feel like we were a team in the move. They moved HUGE items like my massive vintage dining table, my massive IKEA pax system, my camera equipment, literally everything and I wasn’t worried for a second about any of my stuff. They were so great to be around and I can’t say enough good things about how efficient they were, professional, kind, caring, kind to my dogs, and huge problem solvers. I didn’t have to think about a THING! I was stressed about how my pax system would get out of the tiny room and hall and into the even smaller room and hallway and they did it so quickly. They put the shelf through the window and I didn’t have to stress over it. Truly the greatest moving team and I’m so grateful to roadway that I have a happy moving story. I’ve hired movers in the past and had either okay/rough experiences or downright bad experiences and safe to say I won’t hire another team Of people to move with ever again 🫶🏼 couldn’t say enough amazing things about them from start to finish!!!!!!

I used Roadway for my move from NY to LA, and they really took all the stress out of moving from one coast to the other. I can’t imagine moving even a short distance without them in the future. Anyone who has moved knows how quickly you can be overwhelmed by the packing process. No matter how prepared you are, the days leading up to your move leave you increasingly more anxious. From the moment our movers arrived to begin the move out, all of that stress had been taken off my shoulders, and I felt relieved knowing that the “heavy lifting” was being handled - literally and figuratively. I was then able to focus on smaller, more tedious aspects of what was left to pack. I can’t recommend Roadway’s services enough for anyone considering hiring a moving company!

Outstandingly Smooth transition! I did a long distance move from West Coast to East Coast and the communication and care they have is impeccable. They made sure I was aware of the next steps that were being taken, the movers were on time and friendly. I felt so comfortable I left for breakfast while they finished packing up my home. Lol that’s how much I trusted them! I had direct contacts if I needed anything or if they were checking in on me with updates. The delivery of my furniture was sooner than I thought out of the time gap they have given. Even the unloading was quick, seamless, and stress-free. I had a hard time deciding which direction and where I wanted my couch but they were so patient and encouraged me to take my time deciding. I got my courtesy call again once the movers were finished and made sure I had everything. Nothing was missing, broken, or damaged. I will be using Roadway Moving company for THE REST OF MY LIFE! I had the pleasure of moving from Uptown to Downtown with Roadway Moving. Their team came first thing in the morning and immediately started packing away my items. They packed all of my kitchen items carefully, including wine bottles and glasses, and used wardrobe boxes to pack all of my clothing. The process was seamless and easy, when we arrived at my second apartment I pointed out where things should go. They rebuilt my furniture and unloaded my wardrobe closets, then I went at it unpacking the rest! It was a great experience and I would highly recommend their services. Besides how careful they were with my items, de-mounting my TV, etc. the team was extremely kind and helpful.
