It has taken me 5 phone calls during the past month to resolve this situation. 1) Macy's sent wrong size (up to 40", rather than the 30" size. No big deal. I returned them using the label provided and checked off on the packing slip "wrong size or color." The next day I called macy's.com customer service to find out if there was anything else I needed to do. They said to check my credit card statement in about 2 weeks and I would either be receiving a new shipment in the correct size or a credit back to my charge card. In 3 weeks neither event had occurred. 2) I called again. The customer service rep told me I had to wait 24 days to assure processing of my return took place. 3) I called in 25 days and was told I needed my UPS return tracking slip to determine whether or not my return had been received at the warehouse. 4) Found tracking slip and called back. This time, another person told me they already had that info and she would contact warehouse and have them send out replacement order right away. I then received e-mail confirmation that the new order was being shipped. 5) The very next day I received an email that the order is now "backordered" and I wouldn't receive it for another 8 weeks. I made the last phone call today to cancel order and receive credit as that was too long to wait and macy's.com's credibility was shot. I was then told ONE of the shades was already on the UPS truck and it was too late to get it back.

We purchased a bed from Macys and the bed has been great. Very much worth the price and I have been happy with it every night. However, I was disappointed with Macy's delivery of the bed. The were punctual, but when they arrived the bed was a really tight squeeze fitting up our stairs to where the bedroom was. They had to force it and ended up messing up the wall. The bed was fine, but the wall is still scarred. If the bed did not fit, they should have told us and we could have made the decision to return it or not. But instead they did some damage to the wall trying to force it. Not a great move.

AT FIRST, MACY'S SEEMED TO BE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AT HOW TO CLEAN THE FURNITURE. IN THE END, THEY CAUSED MORE DAMAGE TO THE SOFA THEN IT HAD WHEN WE BROUGHT IT IN. THE MATERIAL WAS FADED WHEN THEY WERE DONE. I WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN.
