Description of Work: Kevin removed the old kitchen cabinets and installed new kitchen cabinets. This involved removed and disposing of the old cabinets, patching any holes in the wall, repainting the wall, and installing new cabinets. Kevin was also kind enough to hook up the sink after the counter was installed (separate contractor).

Description of Work: Mr. Klepper added a bedroom with French Doors and a massive closet.

Description of Work: Kevin redid our entire kitchen: Installed new cabinets, added a pantry and more shelves. New appliances and granite on the counters. He tiled the floor and the walls over the stove, painted the walls and the rest of the woodwork.

Description of Work: I was moving into an apartment that basically needed a face-lift, some cosmetic work to make it more appealing. The closets were in bad shape and the walls were painted an awful matte white. The lighting fixtures were rather unsightly and I needed some work in the kitchen and bathroom to make them more up-to-date as well. The main issue however, was that I was on a fairly tight budget and could only afford $10,000 of work in my 1,000 square foot apartment. I wanted to strip the doors (there were 9 in total) of the umpteen layers of paint to reveal their natural wood. Although Kevin does not strip doors in his business, he would help me take them off the hinges and relocate them as necessary. The doors are extremely heavy and very tall so this was no small feat.

Description of Work: Mr. Klepper did not perform the actual work but referred me to someone who did complete the task. The subcontractor was very good and I was satisfied with his work.

Description of Work: The initial job we put out for bid was installation of kitchen countertop and cabinets. As other, more unreliable contractors fell through, the scope of the job expanded to include removal of an old kitchen unit (range, fridge, sink, and countertop), installation of new range, sink, and D/W, and some help with other projects going on at the time (stripping hardwood floor, installing new locks, etc.). Also, we stressed that, while we wanted the end results to look nice, we are renters and so were concerned with keeping costs quite low and getting the job done quickly, since we would be moving in very soon and wanted the kitchen work to be done.

Description of Work: We needed to fix up the master bath for the sale of our apartment. Kevin Kleeper came in and told us that our tile was in excellent shape and the only thing we had to do was glaze the bathtub and sink, get a new toilet and re-grout the tile. He saved us $25,000. The work done was excellent, the re-grouting of the tile and the glazing of the sink and tub. He even took down the wall paper in the bathroom. He put in the new light fixture and we had a brand new bathroom.

Description of Work: I have 3 1/2 bathrooms and they repaired 50 square feet of ceramic tile and marble in these rooms. With the repairs, they installed some new pieces and re-grouted certain areas.

Description of Work: Kevin is very personable. He has the patience of a saint. I wanted to customize all of my closets, floors and lighting fixtures; all big jobs, I have limited closet space, with a lot of bags, shoes and clunky boxes, not to mention clothing. The lighting that came with the place was pretty old. The floors were a combination of tile and long parke wood and carpeting. Kevin made sure he knew EXACTLY what I wanted and I knew EXACTLY what to expect from him. There were no surprises. His work was impeccable, his ethic should be a model for everyone, and his price was just right. I would recommend him to anyone who asked (and who didn't).

Description of Work: I called the company and I spoke to someone right away. I set up a appointment for the next day. The person kept in touch with me calling to tell me they were going to be late. The electrician arrived and gave me a quote (on a small matter) then told me he would call me when they had the parts. He called me two days later to tell me they had what they needed and set up the appointment. All within the week. This morning Friday Jan 12 the electrician arrived on time fixed what needed to be fixed. WOW! In New York City to have this service is exceptional.

Description of Work: After a very satisfying experience of a kitchen renovation in our NYC apt we asked A-1 and Kevin for a complete renovation of our house in Princeton. All the bathrooms were gutted and updated as well as the kitchen. As the house was old we had to update all the wiring and plumbing to bring them up to code. New hardwood floors were installed throughout the house as well as a lot of granite in the kitchen and around the fireplace. Steam units were installed in all the showers as well as radiant heating throughout the house. Finally, the roof and all the windows had to be replaced.

Description of Work: I needed my entire kitchen and bathrooms upgraded. After knocking down the wall to the mudroom and extending my kitchen, Mr. Klepper installed a new island and assisted me in choosing marble countertops for a great price. He helped me to reduce the cost, unlike many other remodelers and also installed a beautiful bay window overlooking my butterfly bush. Breakfast has never been so wonderful! Mr. Klepper, also installed Pergo flooring in the hallway leading to the kitchen area and installed crown molding along all the walls in the kitchen. He also replaced all of my lighting fixtures and added recessed lighting. In the bathroom, he installed a second sink and retiled the floor and shower walls, as well as added more lighting over each sink.

WALLPAPERING AND PAINTING ALSO. CHANGED FRONT ENTRANCE AND INSTALLED NEW DOOR AND NEW WINDOWS THROUGHOUT. BUILT NEW DECK IN BACK OF HOUSE, AND INSTALLED PAVERS IN FRONT AND SIDE DRIVEWAYS. ALL NEW DOOR HARDWARE INSTALLED ON ALL DOORS AND NEW KITCHEN AND BATH CABINETRY. A JACUZZI IN MASTER BATHROOM ALONG WITH STEAM SHOWER. THEY ALSO APPLIED CROWN MOLDING IN ALL ROOMS. A CENTRAL AIR SYSTEM, NEW FURNACE, AND HOT WATER HEATER WERE INSTALLED. THEY ADDED ON A LARGE FAMILY ROOM TO THE HOUSE WITH A STONE FIREPLACE. THE APPLIANCES IN THE KITCHEN ARE VIKING.

Description of Work: My apartment was in need of serious renovations. The whole apartment was renovated which included two bedrooms, living room, two bathrooms, kitchen, and dining room. Electric plumbing was also done.

Description of Work: Kevin Klepper and his construction staff designed and remodeled our 5 room apartment in great detail. Mr. Klepper was very thorough in explaining the required permits for NYC Buildings. The condo board. He spent a great deal of time meeting with the condo board, superintendent and building management to secure the approvals and paperwork for our renovation. My husband, Dr. Singh and I insisted on the highest end renovation with very specific details. Kevin discussed downsizing some aspects of the project, including materials of which Dr. Singh was reluctant. Kevin assured us that this downsizing, would not minimize the quality workmanship we would receive. We totally gutted out and remodeled the kitchen and both bathrooms, installed new floors, installed crown moldings throughout the entire apartment, redid all the electric, plumbing and added a central air conditioning system. Kevin and crew also redid walls, plastered and painted entire apartment, as well as interior decorating.
