Description of Work: We moved into a new house in October and our very large yard had not been maintained in probably about five years! There were leaves and debris everywhere! We desperately needed a big spring cleanup and tick treatment done. I contacted M&M and Mike, the owner got back to me right away and had his crew come and cleared the whole yard, cut back some big bushes, did a tick and Lime treatment and threw in a couple freebies. Our yard looks amazing!! Mike gave us some great suggestions for the yard and offered his services for whatever else we may need in the yard and also maintenance services. We will definitely use Mike again. We absolutely love how our yard looks and the price was great! We can finally start enjoying our yard thanks to M&M!

Description of Work: Put on my seal coat in the driveway, totally came off by March. Contacted him and contacted him,he was neither a professional nor a gentlemen of his word. Never repaired the driveway and we called the distributor of the product he used on our driveway and he apologized for M & M's behavior and lack of decency but did nothing. DON'T USE THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!

 + -1 moreI called M&M on a Tuesday to see how much an estimate would be, I left a message on the voicemail and Mark (owner) called me the next day (Wednesday). We scheduled for him to come out on Thursday for an estimate. He came out looked at what needed to be done and gave me a price, told him I would call him after I spoke to my husband. Me and my husband agreed it was a great price especially with his timely manner in response. So we called him Friday and schedule for him to come the next Wednesday. He said he will arrive mid-morning as he did with a worker by the name of Tina. Called before coming and knocked on the door and said they were their to do the job. Took about 3 hours to complete. I totally loved the work that was done at my lawn especially with the extra things he did on his own. Both were very professional, clean and left no mess behind. He also gave me pointers for maintenance on my lawn. I would definitely recommend this company and would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Spring cleaning including of leaves, dead plants/shrubs, mowing, soiling, fertilizing & seeding.

 + -1 moreAn appointment was make for May 21, 2014. Mark arrived as promised, spent about 20 minutes with me. He took no pictures and did no measuring. I did give him a rough design for him to work with. He told me he would get back to me very soon, either with a plan or more questions. It is now June 14, 2014 an I have heard nothing.

 + 0 moreI am extremely pleased with Mark's work. He was very attentive to my specific needs and concerns, and worked within my budget. He offered advice and suggestions as far as plant care, maintenance and lawn-care products. But mostly, he was honest enough to tell me that I didnt need landscape fabric, whereas someone else would've done the unnecessary work and charged me for it. Several of my neighbors have hired Mark since his work on my property. I have informed Mark that I will be hiring him for my next project as well.
Description of Work: Mark purchased and planted shrubs based on my needs. He rearranged some existing plants and shrubs, as well as discarded dead shrubs. He also spread a substantial amount of mulch throughout, and did some edging for us.

Mark, the owner, returned my initial call quickly, came to see what I wanted to have done, provided me with several options of different types of plantings and said he would work up an estimate and get back to me. Within 2 days he returned to show me what he had in mind with an estimate of the cost. I thought the price was very reasonable and he seemed very enthusiastic and knowledgable. I agreed to go ahead with the job. Mark scheduled it within the week and the job was complete in one day. He did an awesome job! My house looks beautiful.
Description of Work: I wanted some new plantings to replace old shrubs and bushes that had been overgrown. M&M Landscaping removed all the old bushes and shrubs, helped design a new fresh look, provided me with an estimate in a very timely manor and performed the job start to finish.

Description of Work: I have been using M&M Landscaping for 4 years now. Mark, the owner, does my weekly lawn cutting which includes mowing & trimming. About 2 years ago he installed a paver walkway with two retaining walls for me. This year I hired him to put in some plantings in an area which looked cold and uninviting. Mark was very professional, he explained what plantings would work best for the area, there is much shade in the area. He also went as far as meeting me at a garden center to help me choose items that I liked that would do well in shade. The job was completed in less than a 2 week span from getting the estimate to completion. Mark not only did a wonderful job, he also explained how to care for all of the plantings. Every week when he does my weekly cut, he looks at the trees and shrubs to make sure they are doing well. Mark takes great pride in his work, is very enthusiastic and his prices are very reasonable.I also have him do all of my trimming of hedges and mulch. My experiences with Mark have always been positive. He is honest, responsible and punctual. His estimates are dead on!

 + -1 moreHe seemed very professional. He appeared to be a smaller company than the others, and his presentation was a little less showy. However, he seemed reputable, and his pricing was right in line with the bigger companies. I didn't end up using him, but I would consider him in the future.

 + 1 moreIt was an easy job for Mand M Landscaping. I called and Mark asked when I wanted the work done. He then ordered all the materials and completed the job within a weeks time from getting the materials he needed.
Description of Work: I had M&M put in mulch and on another occasion Mark, the owner, installed a belgium block curb around a flower bed which borders my driveway.

I called him to see if he wanted to come back to be my mothers landscaper again and he said yes. Their prices are very reasonable. He is friendly to a point. He is easy to reach and he always answers his phone. They seem to be doing a really good job.

 + 0 moreWe had seen a positive report about Mand M Landscaping on Angie's List so we called him. Mark, the owner, returned our calls promptly, came over to our house to determine what needed to be done, and ultimately sent us a proposal/contract. After meeting him, we decided that he was the man for the job. He knew his stuff about what plants would be the best for our area and how they should be taken care of. The job took less than two days to complete, and, while it was a lot of work, Mark was methodical and hard working. He was very meticulous about his work and you could see that he took pride in what he did. He cleaned up the yard and driveway after his work was done. My wife and I were very satisfied, and would definitely hire him again for any other landscaping needs. In fact, we wouldn't hire anyone other than him.
Description of Work: Mark, the owner, planted 11 arborvitae trees and 3 white spruce trees, cut and formed beds for all of them, and filled the beds with black mulch. He also cut out a pathway for the running lights along our front walk and filled them in with white gravel stones. He put mulch around all of our existing flower beds and trees. We were having a tool shed installed in the near future so he cut out the sod and put "Item 4" which is a type of gravel/cement as a foundation for the shed.
