Without a doubt, the highest quality mulching/spring cleanup I've ever had or ever seen. My wife and I were speechless when we first laid eyes on the job. They covered every inch of our gardens...fabulous. I also appreciated the billing, all on line with Intuit Quickbooks...explained what was done and price for each job. Not a problem with communication (I've gone through 3 landscapers in less than 2 years for that issue). Send an email and they answer. If you call, most times the phone is answered. If not, I leave a message and my call is returned. Chris and Tammy run a real tight ship. The prices are VERY fair. I hope to be using 'Modern' for a long time.

So far it has been a good experience. Polite workers and good office customer service. Today they did 7 yards of mulch around the property. Excellent jobs. Workers are so polite. Hard workers. Chris has a great team. They also do weekly mowing.

Chris & his team were excellent. They worked very hard. They dethatched my property with the walk behind machine. They then hand raked the property and got up all of the acorns and debris. They then aerated the property. They were very neat & friendly. I would definitely use them again. Very reasonable price.

We have been in our condo for 22 years and the shrubs needed a total make-over. Chris/Modern was one of the first to reply-real fast. An app't was set up and Chris immediately knew what we wanted, and offered great ideas of his own. Note that we did not even consider the landscaper that the condo uses. I personally spent many years on the Board being pres. for at least 7 years. We immediately came to an agreement 're price etc and Chris was probably the best quality wise, with many extra small, but important things being done . Start to finish about 8 days. Would I hire Modern again? Of course!!! We even had extra work done on a last moments notice and even more to be done and still under my budget. Would I recommend Modern to a best friend? Of course. I wish they did the work for our condo development. I have dealt with landscapers in the past and know quality work. Another major point that I must state is that Chris works with his men, he does not just tell them what to do. Large shrubs had to be removed, irrigation heads relocated, etc which Chris probably knew about before the job was even started. And there was always someone to answer the telephone, or return a call promptly from his office. They have been around for many years and are organized. Another point that I must make is that I have had about 5 neighbors visit after the job was finished and tell me how beautiful it looks. Cars have slowed down to look. Is this a 'paid' review as on other websites. No way. I only give reviews where needed. If you have a landscaping job, by all means you should give very serious consideration to Chris/Modern Landscaping. His workers are courteous, efficient and cooperative. The job was finished in a timely fashion well under my expectations. The clean-up was done great. After the first landscaping job by Modern, we decided to have additional landscaping design done by Chris of Modern. Two of our neighbors also requested Modern to do work for them. Everyone is more than satisfied. If the first job Modern had done for me was unsatisfactory, I obviously would have never had them come back to help for a second time. They are great!

The team came and was quick and professional

My firs project was an estimate on cutting tree branches and removing a tree from my yard they were very reasonable and provided great service ! Chris is the owner and was on site working with his team in performing my request. We also hired them for weekly lawn service as well as monthly treatments of fertilizing programs.
