Pete was very knowledgeable and quickly identified the source of my concern. I knew something was in the chimney because my dog was continually going over to the fireplace smelling and barking. I was hearing scratching noises. Pete worked to restrict access to the chimney, dealt with a possible gas problem, cleaned the chimney and installed a stainless steel sleeve believing all was clear and problem solved. During the final task of cleaning the fireplace we all were unprepared for the what jumped out at us. What to our wondering eyes should appear (not Santa) but a BIG squirrel that ran helter-skelter through 2 rooms, jumping on furniture, going under it, frantically looking for a way out. Luckily, he avoided the dog and went into a room with French doors that my son quickly opened and fled into freedom. WOW, OMG, YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME, WHO WUDDA THOUGHT!!!! Great afternoon, lots of laughs and excellent service!

These people are extremely knowledgeable about chimneys, and how to fix them. Everything they said would happen and when was spot-on, no surprises. They are also very respectful of homeowners, listening to our requests and behaving accordingly. I will rehire them the next time I need chimney work!

Needed a chimney cleaning and to my amazement, once I contacted HomeAdvisor, Pete was on the phone within minutes of my inquiry. He asked when would I like the work done and he said that he could be there the next day. Yes! Arrived when he said he would and explained everything. Informed me of some concerns with the flue to the furnace and did the repair and installation. As a coincidence, our furnace repairman was there at the same time and he complimented Pete's work and price for the job. Clean and professional. Reasonable cost for a whole days work. Went above and beyond my expectations and will recommend with no hesitation.

Very recently we had an emergency and a whole new furnace was installed by TMS of Plainville. We knew the chimney badly needed a cleaning now soot was showing up. All County Maintenance was there for us (sameday!) even though they really had no schedule openings. Vinnie said if a nearby job finished up with time left in the day they d get us in. That job ran later than anticipated but Vinnie and Pete (owner operators) went the extra to get us in, staying in touch during the day. Vinnie explained honestly in detail the condition of our chimney, liner and flue with no up-sell. I had an idea of the condition and he made it definitive. We knew we needed a hat and they agreed to take care of that too. Pricing was what they first stated plus the hat installation we requested. Fast, professional and honest are qualities I value.
