Georgia and her staff were extremely professional and very responsive to our needs. They provided beautiful carpets and window shades at prices that were substantially less than those quoted by other suppliers. Georgia herself drove to our home some 125 miles from NYC to personally take the measurements for the shades. Everything was delivered and installed on schedule. We were extremely pleased to deal with Georgia and her very able staff at Classic Carpets and recommend Classic Carpets without reservation!

Great job in our apartment in Manhattan: politely and efficiently met work rules of building and did jobs beautifully for us. Kitchen floor tile removal required extra work removing ancient existing tiles and difficult to remove glue underneath. Workers did a fine job. Very pleased.

I have delayed writing this review because I cannot discuss all the details as action is ongoing. There were significant issues with the initial employee pushing back the time frame significantly. After many calls and complaints they eventually hired a replacement worker to try and fix the mess, but it was clear to me that the fixed job would not look like a properly completed job should have. Partway through fixing the poor tile work, Georgia the company owner and her staff discontinued contact with me. I was left with tile work that needed additional attention and damage to my bathroom fixtures and hall. They had an insurance plan too that covered damage to my property (which there was) but did not cover defective workmanship. After waiting for months for their insurance company to make a decision, I was told that Class Carpet was denying causing the damage and so the insurance company denied my claim.

I can't say enough good things about Class Carpets and Interiors! They were very professional and everything was delivered on time. As an interior decorator, I've had my share of "unprofessional" installers.. This group was perfect! I would use them again!

After a rocky communication start (I suggest you ask for Kevin)They came through with a very professional job both in doing the floors (Jose) and painting(Michael)They were extremely punctual and all went without a hitch. It seemed on the pricey side but truthfully I have no idea what the cost should be. All I know is that I was very satisfied with their work. They cleaned up completely and I would and will use them again for both floor work and painting. Thanks again. They were worth it.

A very good company to work with -- I was very happy that they were located so close to us on the Upper West Side. Georgia came over and gave us an estimate we thought was very fair, considering the amount of work that they needed to do. We were on a tight schedule, and Kevin was able to get a crew over early on a Saturday morning and get all of the work done on the same day. Everything went perfectly, the team cleaned up after themselves, and the final product looked fabulous. I would call them first for any future work our floors may need.

Class Carpet was one of the three companies (I found on Angies List) and contacted for this project. I needed them all to provide estimates on replacing & installing a new carpet--names of which I provided but at the same time asked if they could send me a sample. The installation ultimately had to be coordinated with a painter/carpenter (found on Angies List--Dewey Emadoo--great!) who was installing wainscoting and painting the hallway. Of the three companies, Class Carpet was by far most responsive, friendly and helpful not to mention most reasonably priced. (Mind you, all three companies provided estimates based on the same specks/carpet options. It was also a huge advantage that Class had a store in NYC which I visited for face to face meeting and finalizing of plans. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful and with Georgia's help, I ended up choosing a carpet displayed in the store as opposed to all others I considered earlier. The ordering process went smoothly and I got lucky there was just enough carpet available so I didn't have to wait for a back order. Right before the installation day, Georgia called me pro actively to clarify something about how the carpet will be seamed and make sure I understood that and was OK with it. I was, and really appreciated the call. The installation happened on the date and time specified, went smoothly and quickly and the results were beautiful. Everyone was totally thrilled with it and only wondered what took us so long to do it, considering how painless it was.

I needed carpet desperately in my apartment. They worked with me and gave me next day service. I know that is not possible in most cases. However , they were very responsive the my needs. The installation was flawless and beautiful. Their staff was professional and fast. The fixed and corrected issues that happened from the last carpet installations. I was very great-full how the owner, his wife and son all worked together to give me the best service possible. The Father gave me a great advice, the wife made it all happen and the son mad sure i was satisfied. I am very satisfied. Their business is like a well oiled machine. All the parts moving together to give you the best results. Their price ,their service and staff is the very best

Since there was a heavy dresser and bed to be lifted two installers were needed rather than the one that they sent. However I was able to pay the building staff to assist. The installation went smoothly and the rug is beautiful.

Kevin provided very professional service over the phone. Andrew and his partner Mike did an excellent job installing the floors and both had a very friendly demeanor. Will use again if I have any more flooring to be done.

We spent a lot of time in the showroom choosing the carpeting. There was an excellent selection at many price points and there was no effort to steer us towards the higher priced carpeting nor was there any effort to rush us. We did wind up choosing fairly expensive carpeting, but that was what we wound up liking best after two lengthy visits to the showroom. Workers were very punctual about coming to measure and, after we chose the carpeting, did an exquisite installation job. The carpeting looks beautiful and we were very happy with all the services. We also enjoyed spending time at the showroom with Georgia and her dog!

The initial purchase and design was very good but the quality of fixtures they used were pretty poor and flimsy. They broke and the person who installed the hardware was not from the company. The quality was not high enough considering the amount I paid. The quality of the material for the curtains was great, but the hardware holding the curtains was very bad. I was not satisfied with them and I wouldn’t recommend them as a result.

The rugs have been fine and what they sold me was good. They did a good job.

They turned out fine. They were very nice and prompt.

They are very nice people! They actually did a couple different things. They sent someone over to straighten up some blinds for me. The guy that came was very professional and high quality. They did a fine job. I worked with Georgia who was very, very nice to me. I will be calling them again to help me out soon.

Their price was very fair for all of the work they did. They completed the job quickly, within a few days of initially going into their store. Their carpeting matched the existing carpeting very closely. Their staff is very pleasant to deal with and they are great at working our any of your problems. Overall, it was a very great experience.We will use them again when we need more wall to wall carpeting.

Gave very good pricing! The only reason we went with another vendor was because the other vendor had the exact model of the floor tiles we needed. It was a pleasure dealing with Class Carpet & Interiors, and would strongly recommend them.

Everything went very well and it was an excellent experience. The sales person was professional and courteous. The workers came right on time and were very professional as well. I was satisfied with the company and definitely plan on using them in the future.

We had some difficulty with the project, but in the end it worked out okay. There was a lack of communication with the building as to the type of work that they were doing. The work had to be stopped because our building was not notified. We didn’t do the original project planned, but did other flooring work. This also resulted in a different cost. The work they did was fine and we were pleased. The price is on the high side but the quality was great.

Their service was excellent. They did a terrific job. We had a flood after their work and they came back to repair a section. It wasn't cheap but I think we’ll have the carpet forever. The manager, Georgia, has done other friends apartments as well and we all found her to be personable.

Their service is very good. However, there was a problem with the installation. The guy that did the work didn't do it properly. I called them and they sent someone else out to correct the issue. They also they gave me a $30 credit for future use. They were very nice people and took care of any issues that arose. I also thought their price was reasonable.
