I'm on a very tight budget and couldn't use DNJ, however, their price was comparable to other quotes I had gotten, but their punctuatlity and professionalism was much better. If I could I would have used them and highly recommend them based on my experience.

The work was done very professionally. Initially we were told they could not start for several weeks but they contacted me and said they had an opening which was a god send because the roof was leaking. They started right away and took care of the main problem. About a week or two later they started the den. They were very punctual. Always called before they came and gave a time frame. They were never late and never cancelled. They worked everyday until the job was finished and the work exceeded by expectations. I found these guys from Angie's List because I needed someone who could do roof work as well as other projects and who came with references. They seem to be able to do everything including painting which some of the bigger contractors won't do. They were highly rated and I can see why. I would definitely use them again for future projects.

It went very well. David was very pleasant to work with. I had other contractors doing work in my house at the same time, and David "shared the space" seamlessly. David made 3 visits to my house to complete the job, as he had to wait for the dry wall to dry between each visit. David always called ahead to confirm our appointment, and when the weather was too bad to do the outside part of the job, we rescheduled and David came on the rescheduled day. I liked that he was thorough and was very neat - David always left the area he was working very clean.

They services were great, I couldn't ask for a better group of guys.

Dave was amazingly! He came and put up trim and baseboard in three bedrooms and the hallway. He got the new trim and existing trim ready for paint. He ripped up and replaced the flooring in the hallway. The result was fantastic, he was able to squeeze me in before Christmas which was even better. I would definitely recommend him to a friend and call him next time a need work done.

Excellent. Very good quality of work, no surprises. Kept me well informed and did an excellent job. Neat and clean and punctual.

We were very satisfied with the quality of their work. They showed up on time and worked through the pouring rain one day. They finished the work on schedule despite the weather. They gave us a fair adjustment on the price when it turned out extra work had to be done. They were professional and hardworking. We would hire them again in the future.

Totally top notch!! Very professional. They returned with a quote in a timely manner. Explained that they had another project in the works as they do the work themselves and do not sub it out. So I was willing to wait. Kept me posted on how they were progressing with their project and did not leave me in the dark. When it finally came time to start my project, they came with a formal contract. Always came promptly in the morning. Very professional, took the time and patiently answered all my questions as well as my wife's. Consulted me every step of the way. They were very clean while working around the house with drop cloths all around and ALWAYS made sure to clean up and vacuum every day when they were done working for the day. As it happens most of time, had a few added things done and did not charge me for one additional side job and charged me a very fair price for the 2 other side jobs I had them do. They work FAST! They had construction tools I had not seen before and I can see they knew their stuff! They finished the whole project in the time frame mentioned. And after they left, my wife and I noticed small stuff that they did that showed, they paid attention to detail and did not take shortcuts. I highly recommend them for your projects and will use them again for any future renovations. Thanks David and Joe!

Dave and Joe were phenomenal. We hired them after getting estimates from several contractors. They were not the cheapest and were not the most expensive but both my husband and I felt that they would do a great job. From the moment we signed the contract to the day they left we could not say one bad thing about them. They were punctual, reliable, meticulous, and accommodating to our requests/modifications. They finished our basement to include a gym, office, utility room, and family/tv area. They supervised the installation of all electric and duct work. The entire job was explained to us in detail as well as the payment schedule. The entire job took about 6 weeks to complete and we cannot be more pleased with the result. We would without a doubt hire Dave and Joe and recommend them to family or friends. I will also add that they are both really nice guys with great personalities.

David and Joe did a complete gut renovation of our bathroom last year, and did such a beautiful job that we knew we wanted to have them back to do some more work that we needed done. We had leaks in the roof, and alot of the asphalt shingle siding and wood under the gutters were in really bad shape and needed to be replaced. They did a beautiful job with this, with the same meticulous work and attention to detail in measuring and cutting the shingles as they had done on the tiles in our bathroom. They also repaired the roof leaks. All of the interior ceilings needed a great deal of repair work as well because of those leaks. The kitchen ceiling needed complete replacing, and parts of crumbling ceiling repaired in the dining room and den. They also repaired and plastered with great care all peeling paint and cracked areas of the living room, dining room and den. All the ceilings turned out smoother than we would have imagined considering all the damage they had. They oversaw the installation of high hats in all of these rooms as well. They painted the whole kitchen, and accomodated our request to install new laminate flooring in there. The kitchen looked so amazing afterwards that we asked them to paint the dining room, living room, and den as well, and they were very accomodating to all our requests ( which were many!). The painting included all the ceilings and woodwork. We also asked them to paint the very old red brick fireplace in the living room , and the beautiful result has completely transformed the room. We can't help but sit and stare at it in amazement at the difference. They also put up new blinds on all the windows (19!) , installed a new lock, and painted bookcases. They cleaned up beautifully each day, and always called if they were going to be delayed. David and Joe take great pride in their work and are meticulous and professional in everything they do. We couldn't be happier with the exterior and interior work. We will be asking them back for future work as we know that they will do the right job.

The job went according to plan. Dave and Joe are true professionals and do a fantastic job. We finally have the kitchen we have always dreamed of. It is a big plus that they happen to be great guys and just love our dog. She loves them too. Dave and Joe have done other work for us in the past. They gutted a spare room and turned it into our computer room. They gutted and rebuilt our basement bathroom. They also changed out four doors in our hallway and installed crown molding. We have other work that we want to do in the house and will not hesitate to use them again. We couldn't be happier with the quality of their work.

.Right now it didn't fit into my planned budget for the work to be done,but when I am ready I will use them.If their concern and punctuality is any indication of their work ethic then I know the work will be done to my satisfaction. Since I have a very old house(1747) there are a lot of unusual problems that always arise. When I am ready I will feel confident having them do the job.

It went well. They did what they had to do quickly. they were neat about it. They vacuumed all the dust up. David & Joe did all the work at my house after Sandy. They did a great job & I only want to work with them now. They are pleasant , Knowledgeable & professional.

Okay honestly I was terrified using someone I found off the internet. But after hearing David's voice over the phone and well getting his estimate in the time he told me he would, I felt comfortable moving forward with the job and using them. David and Joseph were a delight to work with. David calls when he says he's going to call and he is constantly on schedule! He gives you a very good time frame and sticks to it. They both came in, set up and got to work quickly. Both took on their own section of the house and proceeded to work efficiently and were very productive. David is quiet as a mouse and Joseph likes to sing to himself, he's quite entertaining! Bonus! They cleaned up every day they were in my home. David was also supervising the installation of my floors which he outsourced but I must say I was very pleased with whom he chose. They too were efficient and professional and did a beautiful job on my floors! They also made sure the dust from the sanding of the floor was to a minimum. My husband and I are very pleased with the outcome of our bathroom, painting, new floors and how they also redid my dining floors to match my living room floor in stain color!! David and Joseph, who I called "John" everyday, he was so nice he didn't even correct me until the the 2nd to last day. :) My husband and I are looking forward to using them again! :)

I had a few estimates for the work I needed done and DNJ was comparable. I chose them because David presented himself much better than the others, really listened, looked, commented, had a personality, and he offered to meet me at a store to select and pick up materials that I was supplying for the job. David and Joe work very well together. I was kept involved in the progress of the various steps of each part of the job they were doing. David also gave me tips/advice on other projects I am attempting to do on my own. When the first work day was over, the inside work area and my driveway, where a temporary shop was set-up, were both spotless - same thing at the end of the job. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone and will hire them again when needed. Thanks David!

Dave was responsive to my calls and came out as scheduled to give us an estimate. He offered great advice about the work I wanted done. He emailed me the estimates in a timely manner and we thought his prices were very fair but we needed the molding work done right away to allow the painters to start their work. Unfortunately Dave could not fit us in until next month. Dave was very professional and knowledgeable and I will definitley keep him in mind once we are ready to start the basment work.

. We discussed project and Dave came on time and was extremely professional. He told me he would be in touch with a project estimate which occured in a timely fashion. We agreed upon a start date which would enable the job to be done in a short time frame because all the clothes had to be emptied. Only one miss communication happened when the rods were being put two close together to accomodate the length of my clothes. We talked about it and it was corrected. During his work time he even killed a large bee which somehow had gotten caught in my screen and was buzzing like crazy. He left the house clean and did whatever work he could at home. I am extremely happy with the his work and would highly recommend his company,

Used Angie's list to get estimates from six contractors. Dave from DNJ came by and provided an estimate that we thought was very fair (one provider was slightly less). We really liked the way he presented himself and his company. He explained DNJ's process. We very much appreciated when he advised that he would work in only one area of the house at a time and complete it before moving on to the next area. And the work would be performed by himself and his partner. Some contractors were going to send over a crew. If you are going to have people in your home for several days, you want to hire someone you are comfortable with. And it may sound silly, but you can get a pretty good impression from a 20 minute visit. Dave and Joe were very neat, clean and courteous. The Den work commenced on the agreed to date and was done in the time-frame we were told at the beginning of the project. Both Dave and Joe paid a great deal of attention to detail. They seem to be perfectionists. It seemed that their biggest concern was to please the customer, each day asking if we were happy with everything. Several days into the project my wife and I added several items to the list of things we needed accomplished and they eagerly performed the few extra items with a minimum extra amount added to the contract. All in all, we would hire DNJ again without hesitation and recommend them to our friends who may be looking for contractor services.

I called DNJ to get an estimate on reconnecting a dryer vent. David called me right back and explained that while they were very busy he'd come by Wednesday and would call if something came up and he couldn't make it, but so long as I didn't hear from him he would be there. He never showed nor did he call to tell me he wasn't going to. He seems really nice, but I found this to be really disappointing.

David and Joe did a terrific job for me. Everyone who's seen the new bathroom has been blown away by the transformation. They were totally dependable, reliable and professional. They were very attentive to my needs and always checked with me on the slightest detail to be sure it was what I wanted. I'm delighted with the results and I have every intention of hiring them again to remodel my kitchen.

k was clean. All stages of construction went very well and on a timely basis. Called before coming and showed up on time. Materials used were all top quality. David and Joe were always pleasant and helpful. No request went unanswered or undone. We have done many construction jobs in the past - we will definitely use them again.

I love my new house. Everything looks wonderful. The attention to detail was spectacular. It looks so nice that I wanted to attach photos. Dave and Joe had done work for me last year and I swore that I would never have work done without them. They are courteous and respectful and fun to have around. I trusted them in my house with my kids and dogs when I would go to work. They are now like family.

I live almost 3,000 miles from my elderly parents. David provided the assurance necessary for me to get the job done on their behalf, long distance. He was helpful, considerate and professional. He provided a quality repair at a fair price. We found him to be very personable and easy to work with. Best of all, the roof no longer leaks! My family was very pleased with his services and would definitely consider working with him again! Moreover, we would recommend him and his services, highly!
