It was almost immediate that they came to my house to give the estimate. They were very professional and had the written proposal to me much sooner than the other estimates I was getting. Their price was equal to some but their promptness and Angies list was the deciding factor. They were clean and efficient and did everything exactly how I wanted it. The work was magnifcent! I have never been so pleased with contractors in my house. I will absolutely use them again.

David and Joe did a great job with everything, the installation of the skylight required quit a bit of work (electrical, roofing, finish carpentry, sheetrock, spackle and paint). The leak in the fireplace chimney called for removing the vinyl siding replacing a new flue cap and re-flash the chimney to the roof, NO LEAKS. In the past I've had companies try to fix this leak to no avail. The Leak that was above my back door they fix by removing part of the above wooden deck, flashing the deck to the house and reapplied the removed vinyl siding, NO MORE LEAK. I had a professional painter come in and paint the downstairs of my house and I was going to call him back to paint the bathroom after the skylight was installed but I asked David and Joe if they would do it and I was glad they did. Joe did a better job then the painters I hired to do the downstairs of my home. just I can't say enough about David and Joe, they were professional, on time, courteous and great to work with.

I initially contacted DNJ in late May to help me complete a bathroom remodel that had become a disaster project. When David came over he assured me that he could complete the project. This involved repairing a huge hole in my newly refinished bathroom wall (a result of the plumber having to move the water pipes to accommodate a wall mounted sink rather than my old pedestal sink). In addition I also decided to have a new floor installed. David evaluated what needed to be done and gave me a firm price and told me he would be able to come back the first week in July and take care of everthing. True to his word he reconfirmed in late June that he would be able to start and finish the project in two days and told me what I needed to buy for the flooring part of the project. On Thursday, July 5th, David and his partner Joe showed up promptly at 7:30 and began the demolition work on the floor. They then laid out the new tiles and got my approval before proceeding (did an excellent job as they were mixing 12 inch tiles with 2 inch tiles). The result was custom and better than I had imagined. They reinforeced the bathroom wall, added new insulation, repaired the hole in the wall and mounted my new vanity, installed the glass sink, installed the faucets, mounted various glass shleves, hooks and pictures and at the end of 2 days I finally had a completed bathroom. They are very meticulous in everthing they do. They also are very clean and take great care to make sure everything is done as promised. In addition, they also both love animals (very important to me as my two dogs were constantly underfoot and vying for their attention). I am planning on remodeling my kitchen and dining room next year and will definitely be giving them a call. If you are looking for a company that is professional and does top quality work you should definitely use DNJ.

We were extremely please with the work they performed. They were very professional as well as pleasant to work with. They were punctual, always arriving when they said they would. They explained the whole process and there were no surprises. We will definitely hire the for future projects.

I would highly recommend them and I will most likely use them to do another repair job on a spare bedroom and eventually remodel my kitchen they did everything and more to these rooms and I would use them again

We bought a house that was over 100years old and in need of major repair, especially after being vacant for almost 2 years. We decided to gut renovate most rooms throughout the entire house, which included a new kitchen, bathroom, electric, plumbing, heating system, flooring, windows and siding. David did a wonderful job providing us with his expertise and knowledge of to do as well as advising us on how not to spend unnecessary funds on unnecessary projects. He is extremely particular of his work and quite the perfectionist. I have worked on several rehab projects in the past and it's tough to find a contractor who in punctual, meets deadlines and cares about their performance as a whole. The last project with David consisted of high-end finishes throughout the house, which is our primary residence. We felt as though he understood our concerns/requirements ad worked as if the house was his own. I highly recommend him to all for home improvements large or small and we are looking forward to working with David and his partner, Joe, again in the future.

Everything went very well. David and Joe showed up on time and did what was necessary to complete the job. They were wonderful! I have owned several homes throughout the years and have dealt with many contractors for a variety of different projects and I would have to say that David and Joe were by far the best! They were a pleasure to deal with and their work superb. They did the job right the first time and didn't cut corners. I've never recommended anyone before but I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them without a doubt!! They were respectful of our home and cleaned up everyday before leaving. They were so wonderful I'm having them come back to do more work!

My husband & I were putting off getting a new front door, but then realized we just couldn't anymore. DNJ Home Improvements was referred to me by a friend. Joe & Dave came to my house- reviewed what they need to do & within 24 hours I had an estimate. They said they would have it done within a few hours & that was the truth! The door is in, they were punctual, professional & exceeded my expectations! I would use them again & recommend them to family & friends!
