We found out about Steve from Angie's List... We had water leaking under our kitchen sink, but we could not see the source of the leak. We called Steve, he came over, assessed the situation and repaired the leaking pipe. He was punctual, he did a professional job and we feel his fee was reasonable. We called on Steve a second time when we had a leak in the basement ,Steve detected a crack in the main drain pipe The repair was quite involved as the crack was near the basement floor and the pipe connects to the kitchen drain, the washing machine and the laundry room sink. Just a note to those who complain about Steve not responding... keep in mind that Steve seems to be a one man operation , He answers the phone and he is the one who shows up to do the job, he is very good at what he does, and is therefore very busy. So if you can..... be patient and call again.

Steve came as quickly as possible and helped me out when my pipes burst and water flooded the basement. He came very prepared and helped me in every way possible, since I am a single mom. He even diagramed the pipes for me just in case I needed to shut the water off for another reason. I asked him several questions and he explained everything to me very clearly. He was very personable and helpful in this situation and I am thankful that I have his number. He has also helped me out several times before this. He knows his work well and I'd call him again in heartbeat.

It appears he did a good job and explained everything about the do's & don't s about the pump to prolong its life. Steve showed up when he said he would and fixed the problem.

I will do a point by point by point rebuttal. 1- Smoke alarm is an the next room separated by a door which he could have simply shut to prevent the fire alarm going off. 2- The so called Nailed Shut window is a top of the line Marvin window. Please note in the photos the window is 2 feet away where he was soldering pipes. Note that windows are not nailed either. 3- The last Plumber was Slomin's Oil Company who installed the first Aqua Booster. His argument is with Slomin's not the customer who paid to have the right job done regardless of what he found. 4- Take a close look at his soldering job. In particular where he solder on elbow right on top of the Aqua Booster melting the Aqua Boosters Paint. Why in the world would a qualified person do such a poor job in routing pipes?? 5- When he was asked to re do the poor workmanship, he simply refused. I can say anything, but I will let the pictures show what I was saying. He didn't do a "good job" and since he didn't come back and correct the poor workmanship, he doesn't "stand behind his work" either.

Called and asked if it was an emergency, and I said no. At that point he said he'd call me by Monday at the latest... No call back and I followed up twice... Still no response.

Called in the mid afternoon, he sounded like I was bothering him, said he hadnt gone on vacation and didnt know when or if would be around to do work, said my phone was bad? I was on a landline and he had to go. VERY RUDE

Steve took our old hot water tank away for us and replaced it with a much better one that has more BTU's. He did a great job!!

We were experiencing a leak in the soffet in our kitchen and it was getting worse and worse. We contacted Steve and he came the next day. He was prompt, looked at the leak and took part of the soffet apart and could see the leak. He fixed the leak in no time, leaving the area clean and neat. We have already added him to our list of preferred craftsman that we contact and would highly recommend him to all.

He was on time, every pleasant and cost effective. He knew what he was doing and got the job done well. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area.

Need someone to call in a hurry because I had to shut down main water due to a leak. When I called Steve he said he was on a job and should finish in a few hours the will call me back which he did. had it all done in less then a hour and was just a good guy all around.

Everything went well. Very happy with Steve's work. I would use him again and recommend him.

This was the second job that Steve had done for us in a week. Steve was on time, did great work and we are extremely happy with his work. We will use Steve in the future for some projects that we have planned.

Steve was very prompt and professional. We discussed other things that I would like to have done in the future. Will be calling him to perform that work in the near future.

After hearing that out oil company failed to respond to our calls for emergency service due to freezing oil line, failing to honor our service contract in a timely manner causing our heat to shut off and pipes to freeze, Steve got right to work... He had to check every baseboard pipe in every single room up-stairs he finally found that the very end of the line the pipe juts outside the house in the soffit has frozen and burst. He bypassed the problem pipe and rigged us up so we had heat up stairs. This took him 5 1/2 to 6 hours. I was so worried but he reassured us that he wasn't leaving until he found that frozen pipe and also get the baseboard heat flowing to the upstairs again. That was important because we could have had multiple frozen pipes, bursting pipes if he didn’t warm up the top floor. I didn’t know this man form Adam and I couldn't believe how diligent he was/is to help us. He HELPED us, SAVED us. He didn’t leave until Sunday 1230 am. He refused to take any money until he came back to finish the job up. We expected a huge bill but we didn’t care because he earned every penny. When he returned to finish the job it went very smoothly and came out great. When he gave me the statement I felt like it was not enough for the time, materials and the fact that it was a weekend emergency call. I offered more money but he as reluctant to take it. Steve also recommended our new oil company who we have contracted to prevent this problem from ever happening again. PS-We hired Steve again in March 2014 to relocate some outdoor plumbing fixtures to the yard and one that goes up thru the deck so we can now keep a hose box up on our deck. Love it. . Excellent work and I am so happy that we finally found a great plumber.

I am sorry it was a year ago and I do not remember the price.

Steve showed up on the agreed date and time. He traced the drip to a leaking supply line valve. He explained to me my options. Tighten the valve nut, or replace the valve.. Since the valve was old I decided to replace both the hot and cold valves. Steve is reliable and professional. Will definitely call him again.

It went very well. He responded quickly to our emergency. He explained what needed to be done and he did it efficiently. Pleasant personality.

Oil company told me I had a frozen pipe. Called for emergency due to no heat on the second floor. Called Steve he came immediately. Fix the frozen heating vent and some broken valves in my hot water system. Am now nice and warm.

It went fine because he returned my call the same day and came the next morning. Only plumber who called me back at all. I had no heat and it was cold. But he had to come twice because after he tightened the loose wire, he had to come back 2 days later to replace a module and his charges were very high.

The problem was that he is so busy we had to wait a couple of extra days after he said he could come before he finally showed up.

He arrived on time and completed the job as promised.

Left a couple of messages. He finally called back and promised to show asap. (toilet clogged) Never called back or showed up. Apparently does not respond to small jobs.

Boiler shut down, called my boiler service and told i had a broken water pipe some where in the system, and i needed to call a lincnsed plumber. My house is built on a slab, no basement or crawl space. Had several plumbers come over and basically told me they would have to randomly chop up the floor in order to find the broken pipe including my newly renovated master bathroom where i installed a one piece granite floor.I called steve, explained the situation. Steve said he was on a job, but would come after 5 pm. Steve was at my house 6pm, looked at the job and determine the leak was some where between my master bedroom closet and the master bathroom.Why the other plumbers couldnt figure that out? Anyway.My options where to break up the floor including my grantie floor or run a new ceiling line, which i could latter box in. I took steves recommendation and choose the ceiling line. Before steve left he hooked up a temp. line so i would have heat, and avoid any lines from freezing. He left after 9 pm. Returned two days latter and completed all the work including the boiler. Steve is a first class plumber, knowlegable, polite,neat, and honest as they come. He could have milked the job instead he saved me a great deal of money. If you need a plumber - its a no brainer, call steve.

I called and left a detailed message with all of my contact information and I never heard from them.
