Victor was very cordial and professional. He responded quickly to my inquiry and worked within the timeframe and plans that I had to complete the job. He and his crew showed up on time and worked throughout the weekend to finish the job. Deck looks great! Will definitely consider VAP Contracting for future work!

The job was completed as planned and the bathroom looks great. The only complication was that I did not know that the village of Tuckahoe required permits for what I thought was a minor renovation. My goof, unintentional but stupid. Tuckahoe DPW and code inspector saw VAP's truck in front and issued a stop-work order until permits were pulled. $3K in fines were added to my cost for this job, Lesson learned? Don't depend on your contractor to tell you when you need a permit and if you need building, plumbing and electrical permits, get them before beginning the job. At least in Tuckahoe, you will get caught if you don't!

The project went perfectly as expected. This is the third time I have used Victor's company and I plan to use him again for another project. I would strongly recommend VAP Contracting. I always get exactly what I pay for plus his courteousness and professionalism.

Victor is an excellent communicator. He is a pleasure to deal with. He was on time when he came to look at the project and was right on target with my budget for this project. Arrived on time for the commencement of the project with a crew of two other men. They got right to work and I checked on them about once an hour and they were moving along quite nicely. The project was done in one day and it is a very professional job. I will definitely hire this company again.

Victor was professional in every sense. He was polite, punctual and took great pride in his work - and he is very personable as well. His work was perfect. I would use VAP again and have recommended him to friends looking for high caliber carpentry work. I have more projects in mind and will contact VAP for a price quote. Went well. Victor was pleasant to deal with. They were pretty booked up, so I had to wait a while (more than a month) but I took that as a positive sign. Crew arrived on time. Head drywall guy was very good. They were done in 2 days and cleaned up after. Price was reasonable (lower than another bid I got), and I've already scheduled them to do more work.

The day, Victor came out to see the job, all my cabinets were still all in boxes. I was impressed that Victor began inspecting the boxes to make sure that everything that I had ordered was there. ( He did this, before I hired him!) Victor and his 2 helpers arrived about 8 !5 am, they were courteous, professional and worked very quietly. Victor and his crew, had to come back a second day because the countertops had to have a template made before they could be delivered. The second day,was like the first, the men arrived very early and completed the job, hours before expected. Victor, told me about a coupon, that he had on Angie's list for first time customers that entitled me to a $100 discount. They, even assembled a piece of furniture for me at no extra cost. They did a good job of cleaning up everyday. I would definitely, hire VAP, again.

Victor does good work. He was friendly and professional. He also answered about a million random questions I had regarding my house (I'm a first-time homeowner).

I had started to refinish my single car attached garage with the goal of turning the space into a usable workshop. After fully insulating and sheet rocking 3/4 of the garage I soon realized the project was going to take longer than originally anticipated so decided to call in the help of a contractor to finish the job. Victor and his crew were very professional, punctual and a real pleasure to work with. Victor made some great suggestions when it came to hiding and enclosing exposed plumbing and electrical panels in the garage. This was accomplished by framing out two small closets with doors as well as a removable box enclosure to hide the water main. The work was started and completed within the agreed time frame. Although the quote for the job was a bit on the high side it was well worth the cost and was very impressed and happy with the quality of work, craftsmanship and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend VAP contracting and look forward to using them in the future for other home remodeling projects.

Victor responded within 24 hours to initial call and was prompt to respond to all contact thereafter. Our job was small and he was able to fit us in between bigger jobs, getting the work done in a timely manner. He was onsite for the job and he, along with a second worker, were great. They were diligent, professional and clean. Although it was a smaller job, Victor paid attention to detail and gave us the time to review and ask questions. We will definitely be using his company in the future for multiple upcoming jobs.

I wanted to install a second stair on my deck and a gate on the top of the existing stair. I asked 3 estimate from different providers and I liked Victor professionalism - since the beginning he told me that he was very busy so I would have to wait at least till June. His estimate was right on target (a fraction lower than the other). I was ready to wait till June to have it installed but he called me before memorial day to pour the cement and he came on memorial day to finish the installation. The stair is beautiful - exactly the same style of the rest of the deck - and looks very solid. I strongly recommend Victor.

It went very well. Victor was very responsive on the phone and via text. He performed the estimate and the work very quickly and efficiently. He also did a few extra things as he repaired the holes made by an electrician. Very good and would definitely use again.

He came looked at the work to be done and actually came back and did it the same day. We had the wood we needed for him to do the job. Took care of business. Would use again.

He was very good, on time, actually he was a little bit early which you never get that, knew what he was talking about and the work that he said he would do, he did it in a very timely fashion without trying to get more out of us. We did ask him about other jobs and what would it cost and he gave us prices but that's because asked. They were very clean, they cleaned up their own messes, so they were really wonderful. The price was good for the coupon.

See above. Except for the plywood and 2"x4" trim pieces for the shed door and the hinges for the bathroom vanity door, I purchased all the materials used today.

Project went without a hitch from start to finish. VAP always showed up when promised and did an excellent job framing. drywalling and finishing our basement

The crew arrived on time each day. They cleaned up nicely afterwards and were pleasant and professional.

I am a single homeowner and new to significant redos. I also wanted the work done before Christmas, which didn't leave much lead time. Victor rescheduled where he could to accomodate me. He was also extrememly helpful. I started out needing to replace my tub and his feedback led to me deciding to redo the whole bathroom And, boy, am I glad. It looks great!. The floor was uneven and Victor and his crew had to lay a new cement underfloor, which I am sure he did not anticipate, and for which he did not charge extra. The tile work is tight, even, very professional. The kitchen was an ugly mess which needed a dishwasher and updating. The work went really quickly and smoothly and the result looks like a new kitchen. I, too, did the usual "Can you also do this?" Just replacing the outdoor lights, but Victor agreed without complaint, and did not even charge! He gave very helpful recommendations in buying the materials, which I really needed and appreciated. I had a bad experience with a contractor before I found Victor, so I especialy appreciate his areliability and professionalism. Bottom line:I love this guy. Will use him for everything I need without reservation. ,

VAP (Victor Pascente) did a very good job for a reasonable price. Very professional. Showed up on the appointed dates and got the job done without any hassles. I highly recommend him.

This was a wonderful experience, Victor was professional, courteous and punctual. He gave me a detailed estimate for the work proposal, and length of time it would take. The crew that came to my house were just as professional as Victor. My existing wooden steps were removed and new stringers and steps were installed. All the work was cleaned by the men. The exterior railings, spindles and door frame were primed (existing paint was scraped, sanding done as needed); and two coats of paint applied. Again, the crew cleaned up everything. There was nothing I had to do; or asked to be done. I would gladly recommend Victor, and if I have any other projects, would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

Everything was done well, the projects were completed and looked nice. It only took them one day, were very nice, and cleaned up well. We were very pleased with their work.

I have used VAP in the past and did not hesitate to contact Victor again when I was ready to work on this space. He came promptly to give me an estimate. He looked over the space and made a great suggestion regarding creation of a large storage closet that helped to provide a needed wall to make an open stairwell safer and provide the best use of an awkward corner of the room. He provided a written estimate within 24hrs. Victor called several days prior to starting the work to discuss a start date and time. The work spanned over 4 days. The crew was prompt, starting and finishing each day at the promised times. At the end of each day they left the area clean and orderly. The work was finished as promised with great attention to detail.

Victor returned my call quickly and came the same day to give me an estimate of the work that would need to be done to repair this leak. He gave me an approximate date that he could do the work, and like clockwork, he called me the day before to make sure that he could come today. He said he would be there between 8-8:30 a.m., and actually arrived at 7:50 a.m. He and his men were fast and efficient and got the work completed in less time than they had anticipated. I am so pleased with their timeliness, professionalism, and efficiency, that I've asked Victor to provide me with an estimate to renovate my kitchen with new cabinets, flooring and whatever else needs to be replaced.
