 + -1 moreI left a message and someone called me back in about 20 minutes. After describing the problem, I was told that Mike would be notified and they would get back to me. Within 10 minutes I received a call back and was told that Mike could stop by when he was done with an existing appointment. About an hour later I received another call to tell me he was on his way. It was a simple problem and Mike quickly fixed it. I greatly appreciated the responsiveness and the call backs that I received. Discovering a plumbing problem on a Saturday morning was no way to start a weekend; Mike was quick to respond and solved my problem. Thank you
Description of Work: I recently had a kitchen & bath gutted in anticipation of a renovation. A number of the old fixtures did not have individual shut offs and I awoke to a leak this morning. Since I have not determined what I am doing with my kitchen, I do not currently have a contractor. I reached for Angie's List and found Micheal's.

Description of Work: Michael was a good guy. Prompt and worked hard to finish a few of my issues from washing machine drains to sink clogs. He also had to run an exhaust hose from my dryer. Everything came out fine and works well to date.

 + -1 moreI questioned what he was doing, but I'm not a plumber. Water came out of the base of the return pipe on the other side of the boiler the other day. There are two holes on top, but only one hole has a pipe. I called a different person to look at my boiler, he immediately said that it was not installed correctly and showed me the instruction manual. Michael charged me $650 to reinstall the toilet, he was here maybe an hour. Michael is a theft and a crass person. I'm tired of being ripped off by plumbers.

 + 0 moreI initially contacted this company because there was a blockage somewhere in my house's sewer system causing water to spill out of seams in my drain pipe into the driveway during heavy rains. The plumber Michael arrived on time on the date as decided and performed the above work in a timely, courteous and professional way. He gave me a three month warranty on the services he provided and I have experienced no problems with sewer blockage since.
Description of Work: My storm and sanitary sewers were snaked out to the back of the house and to the street. The pipe from the drain pipe on the right side of the house to the main storm sewer was cleaned out using compressed air.

 + 0 moreHe came back to do the work at the appointed time and date, was pleasant and thoroughly professional, and clearly knew his stuff. The heating is working well and far more quietly. While not at all inexpensive, he saved us from having to do an extremely expensive replacement by being honest about the condition of the boiler. The quality of his work was excellent.
Description of Work: The owner came to look at the boiler, which we believed needed to be replaced. Much to our surprise, he told us that while it needed a thorough cleaning, and that a pump and some pipes needed to be replaced, the boiler would probably last another 10 years.
