They arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and performed the cleaning as expected. The results were great and I would definitely use them again.

I had three reclining chairs and one sofa cleaned today - the reclining chairs were covered in cat hair, dust and general grime and the white sofa hadn't been cleaned since we bought it years ago, so you can just imagine the kind of state it was in - coffee stains, cat fur, mud, newspaper ink... it really needed a good clean! They did an absolutely super job cleaning everything, very meticulous. They carefully cleaned all sides of the furniture, pulling things out from the wall to get even the hidden dirt. They didn't miss anything, and my cats are thrilled by the number of lost toys they found underneath the furniture. Almost all the stains are out of the sofa now, and the few that remain are mere shadows of their former selves, and were such bad stains to begin with that I never expected them to go entirely. I'm so pleased with how nice it looks. The chairs look fantastic, even the twenty year old corduroy one which was extra grubby. The people they sent to do the job were really nice people too, very fun to talk to, and it was a pleasure to have them in the house. I've never used a steam cleaning company before but I'll definitely be using The Carpet Cleaning Guy again, they gave me A+ service!

some of the stains were really nasty, they got most of them out. very nice job,professional, responsive. maybe a little pricey though.

They came out and measured, but told me that they couldn't clean them at that time because I have slate. They said they didn't know how to go about cleaning that just yet. They were supposed to return within a day with a written estimate, and I did not hear back from them. After I left a report on Angie's List, they got in touch with me over the phone and let me know what had happened. They had a car break down and had to reschedule all appointments and I was just lost in the shuffle. It was an unavoidable delay and he did apologize.

The crew arrived (2 individuals) and took assessed/measured the types/size of rugs/upholstery to provide a detailed estimate, and upon our acceptance, they went to work. They tested the material and moved furniture around (we had to clear the tops) to obtain full access. They then proceeded to clean and treat furniture and carpets. They set up fans to speed the drying process (it helped that it was a dry, beautiful day). The whole process took four hours.

There were very old, difficult stains over many areas of the carpet. They did an excellent job in getting the stains out. They were not sure as to whether the upholstry would clean to my satisfaction (white couch and loveseat) - did a test area which turned out well and then they finished the job. They cleaned up after themselves and left booties to wear until the carpet was dried. Very pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend them.

He has cleaned my love seat and couch. He has also cleaned a rug, chair, and hassic.

They came when they said they would, did what they said they would and when he realized there were spots on the carpet after he?d cleaned it he sat on the floor trying to remove the tar. He went above and beyond. I would absolutely hire them again.

Professional demeanor on telephone when I called to make the appointment, called to give me an arrival update on the appointment date, arrived within the time frame stated when I made the appointment, surveyed the carpets first when they arrived and warned me what they would not be able to address (eg burn mark, fading), took good care in dealing with furniture, placing foam or plastic under legs and moving furniture back to original locations. And the carpets look much better! The price was similar to what I paid another company 3 years ago, for not nearly as good results. I also appreciated the fact that they did not try to sell me additional services during the cleaning (upholstery cleaning, super stain protection, etc) - they came and did what I asked, quickly, professionally, and for a decent price. Would definitely use them again and have already referred one colleague to them.

The cleaner arrived promptly, which surprised me, as they usually don't. He was very polite and professional, and did an excellent job in cleaning the carpets. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs this service!

Excellent. Called to say might be late because they wouldn't have a water source here. Very friendly professional 2 people did the job quickly and efficiently. Didn't try to sell me on an extras and gave me a break on cleaning the stairway.

I had put off having my carpets professionally cleaned for many years because of a bad experience in the past. I had done it myself a couple times, but basically my carpets were pretty bad (I have 3 teenagers and a dog). I found The Carpet Cleaning Guy on Angie's list and decided to give it a go. When I called they answered right away and explained their cleaning process and pricing. I mentioned that there was a discount posted on Angie's list and they honored that. I requested a particular date the following week and they were able to schedule me for 8 am. On the scheduled day 2 very professional men arrived on time and introduced themselves; they looked at the areas to be cleaned, reviewed the pricing, consistent with what I had been told on the phone, and they got right to work. They got the job done in approximately 3 hours, and the carpets looked better than I had expected (I had been pretty much thinking that I should just replace my carpeting pretty soon.) Before they left they advised me that the carpet should be pretty well dry by the end of the day, and they left little booties to put over our shoes when walking on the wet areas. They also left a bottle of spot cleaner. I was extremely pleased.

This was the easy part of a move out. Very professional, with fair pricing. It could not have been any better.

Terrific. Kevin showed up right on time, explained what he was going to do vis a vis equipment, solutions, etc., and got to work. In about 2 hours the job was completed and my carpeting looked terrific, he even managed to remove an industrial adhesive stain that had been on the rug since my replacement windows were installed (those guys weren't nearly as neat)! An excellent job, from start to finish.

Everything went smoothly. Some stains that two previously used companies could not remove were removed. A very nice touch was that non-slip booties were given for walking on the drying carpet and adjacent tile floor to prevent slipping. They were prompt. Price quoted was price charged. The Angie's list discount was included with my not having to ask for it. I've had cheaper companies but not as good. You get what you pay for.

I like that he was on time when I met him with the key to the property. I thought that the price was reasonable to do the whole house. He got any stains out and the carpet looked great when he was done.

Very well. Kenny almost always answers his phone and answers any questions. Job was done neatly, honestly and respectfully. Price was very fair. Ken promised the carpets would look much better post cleaning, and they do. Dried in 4-6 hours as promised. Very friendly nice personality to work with. He even leaves slippers to wear so you can walk on the wet carpet without getting it dirty.

The job went very well. They showed up just when they were supposed to. Kenny and Shaun were polite, pleasant, very neat, and efficient about their work. They spent about 2 hours doing a thorough and careful job in my smallish condo. They were cheerful and careful about moving and replacing furniture. Ken removed access grates that had been painted over many times. He next used a high-pressure air system and brush to remove years of accumulated dust inside the ducts. Shaun took each of the grates outside to vacuum them. He even vacuumed the back of a painting they removed from the wall so as not to damage it when they accessed the ducts. While spraying the disinfectant they showed proper concern for our safety and theirs. At the end of the job they reassembled everything just the way it had been. When we ran the heating system last night the system was quiet and the air noticeably cleaner.

Absolutely FANTASTIC from start to finish! Ken was wonderful in scheduling on a moment's notice, and they were all very patient, understanding and flexible when I had to cancel at the last second (they were actually at the door!). They rescheduled and came back the next day. They were EXCELLENT!... professional, courteous, friendly, intelligent, helpful, informative (a special bonus!), thorough, attentive to detail, careful and did a beautiful job! The two Ken's that did the job (yes...they're all Ken's!) are local people which made me feel comfortable and secure. The job they did was AWESOME! They made the carpet look like NEW again! Couldn't believe my eyes. I thought I was going to have to replace the carpet, but they totally renewed it, saving me a big expense! And, they rescued my upholstery from the ravages of my dirty dog! The cost was very reasonable. I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND this company! I will have them back again, in a heartbeat.

They arrived on time the day I called, cleaned the rugs, and then vacuumed the stairway adjacent to the stained area. They were prompt, pleasant, thorough, and professional.
