Precision Painting Plus of Long Island

They were so nice to deal with and were very professional in my home. They cleaned up after themselves, they finished on time and did a great job. I will definitely use them again.

For starters, I called and within days I had Michael Adler at the house to give us an estimate, he said 24hrs and true to his word it was. The price was very competitive given the amount of work we wanted done and after getting several quotes theirs was amongst the best. I’ll begin with the painting. We wanted the entire interior of our house painted, they offer a free color consultation, a service we chose to use since this is our first house and could use an outside opinion. After that the paint job was scheduled and Mike showed up with a crew of four guys who moved our furniture, covered everything and got right to work. Took them 3-4 days to paint everything and it looked great. Each day coming home to something else paint made us feel like we were stepping into a brand new home. The second phase was getting the floors done. This was a little less smooth but to be fair getting floors done with all your furniture in the house is quite the hassle. But when they were done our floors looked amazing. Mike and I kept in touch during the project via both phone calls and text making it easy to communicate. After the project was done I spoke to him about doing more work in the future. Will definitely hire them again.

My first complaint is that nobody called me the day before the job to tell me what time they would be there or even confirm they would be there. I have had lots of no-shows in the ten years I've lived here, and usually when someone doesn't call that means they're not coming. When Paul and his painter showed up at a reasonable hour of the morning, I found out that not only was this painter a subordinate of the painter who was supposed to be doing this job who didn't end up coming, but they were supposed to bring quick-drying spackle with them, a material which was included in the agreed price. They brought no spackle at all with them, and ended up using some spackle I had in my garage. The guy did a decent job of basic spackling and sanding, but he did mysteriously leave a few screw and nail holes that even an amateur could have patched up. Then Paul had the nerve to tell me that the trim (the door frames, window sills, etc.) were not supposed to be in the price, because everything was just supposed to be painted all one color. Seriously? I don't recall ever being in someone's kitchen where the trim was painted the same color as the walls (unless maybe everything was painted white, which was not the case in my kitchen - the walls were painted peach). It also really bothered me that Paul refused to have the painter use painter's tape of any kind (I even bought it for them to use). I have never seen a professional painter who didn't at least tape the floor and ceiling. Paul swore to me that any bleed through on the ceiling was "already there", despite the fact that my kitchen had never ever been painted peach or anything close to peach before. The contract does not say anything about having to pay the full amount of the job up front, yet before even one drop of paint was applied to the walls, Paul dropped back over and demanded payment in full right then and there, and then left the painter there to finish the job. When the painter was finished, I asked him if he brought a vacuum with him to clean up the spackle dust and wipe up the excess paint and he said no, so I don't think he was even going to do any cleanup. I had to let him use my shop-vac. After he left was when I noticed the nail and screw holes that were not spackled, and a few areas where the paint did not cover the wall, even after two coats. I am giving this company a B because they charged me a reasonable price, finished the job in one day as promised, and at least on the surface the work they did makes the kitchen look much better than it had. However, I do not think I would hire this company again in the future. I think they just have to adjust a few of their operations and they will probably meet the needs of most customers looking for painting services.

Excellent. Everything went very smoothly, all agents, workers showed on appointed dates and time. Everyone was extremely responsive and professional. Pricing was reasonable compare to another which was 50% higher. Precision Painters also has full insurance. An important factor since the house is very tall. Painters were very professional, courteous and neat. Work was done on time despite the extreme heat. Very pleased with overall professionalism and quality of work. The house looks lovely.

They were just great. Did a beautiful job were neat and cleaned up . They were fast too. Finished in two days.

It didn't. They cancelled the appointment that THEY made about one hour before they were supposed to show up. This is after receiving multiple emails reminding me of the appointment. They did this TWICE. Apparently, they consider their time more valuable than mine..

Beware!! I feel that I was duped!! Unprofessional painting job! Go to the smaller painter, a painter who takes pride in his work and wants the repeat business, not a company that takes the money and runs. A painter who compounds and spackles imperfections prior to painting, because it comes along with the territory. Not a painter who considers that compounding and sparkling to be an ala Carte option without educating the consumer of this option before doing the job. Also if you want to get down on your hands and knees and scrape off the paint off your floor than Precision Painting Plus are the painters for you. The job that was done in my home doesn’t look like professionals did it. Get someone else, you’ll be much happier with that decision.

I'm surprised to see this company with a high rating. They wasted my time and were unprofessional. Over a month ago, I signed a contract to have my home painted and the day before I was supposed to get the work done, they dropped the ball. I called them the day before to confirm the following day's work and they said they needed some additional paper work (which wasn't necessary) before they can do the work. I asked them why they didn't contact me weeks ago. The rep, who clearly sounded like he didn't care, said it was their oversight. Another rep was very defensive and lied to me. In the meantime, I had purchased paint and cleared furniture from the rooms that had to be painted. They didn't even try to make it right with me.

Great! Couldn’t be happier. Prompt, and professional from beginning to end. I was amazed how quickly the crew worked to get the job completed. I will definitely call on them for any future jobs.

Just had 3 rooms painted today, and this was the 2nd time I used this company. Both times they did great work at a fair price and I was 100% satisfied. The crew led by Christion was polite, clean and very meticulous and was all work and got the job done on time. Everything from the initial estimate by Alex who came out the very next day on my schedule and Max who was in charge of the crew was on site multiple times and made sure everything was up to my satisfaction and took care of any issues. I would recommend Precision Painting Plus to anyone looking for great quality painting at a fair price. Very Happy Customer!

Guys were very nice. Office support is excellent. After one follow up visit for touch ups, I was very satisfied with the job.

We couldn't be happier with the work that was done. They were extremely neat and were also very pleasant. We added extra things that we decided to do and they were very accommodating. They worked quickly but also did a beautiful job. The walls look very smooth and the trim was painted very neatly. The new doors they put in look great as well as the new molding that they put around my windows. I would definitely hire them again.

Amazing, pucntual workers, clean and reliable workers.

Alan and his team were fantastic. They were on time, totally transparent with pricing and easy to deal with. I hired them to paint my bedroom, ceilings, some doors, crown molding and some plastering. A team of 4 arrived on the dot at 9:30 am and were done and cleaned up by 3 pm. I have SO many bad experiences with contractors and painters that I can't believe how great this was. I am going to hire them again to come back and fix another wall and paint it ASAP.

Excellent and professional painting outfit.

NOT GOOD. What a difference someone good would have been in this role: The Project Manager, Paul Escue ruined the whole image of, or desire to ever use Precision Painting Plus. He had an attitude & was unprofessional at times, didn't remember items needing to be repaired, commented on bedroom arrangements between my (snoring) husband and myself, which made me feel very uncomfortable. UNREAL. He offered his personal opinion on certain things re: the house, the decor, when it wasn't requested or appreciated. He stated he wasn't making any more changes to a work order I was to sign. THE NERVE. Who the **** does this guy think he is? We're the customer & he's telling us this? He also said the project dates aren't put on the work order & start date is worked out after signed agreement. Huh? How can that be correct? I said we weren't signing it until project date(s) are put on the work order. Then miraculously, he could put them on the work order. He said we'd "finalize things tomorrow", then when I contacted him in the middle of the afternoon, he said nobody was in to confirm work dates. What? Why tell me that then?! He also gave us the wrong price for the paint. I called the paint store they'd be purchasing the paint at (Aboff's) & got the correct price (contractor price). So basically, he lied & every aspect of dealing with this "Project Manager," Paul Escue, was NOT good, AT ALL. Wow. Perhaps train your employees better. Never in my life have I dealt with such an incompetent, rude, unprofessional "project manager." HE is THE reason we won't be using your Company.

The painters arrived on-time and did excellent work. They patched a number of drywall holes throughout the house, and painted several rooms worth of walls and ceilings. They were professional, friendly, and efficient, finishing all of the requested work within the allotted time.

Precision Lainting Plus was very responsive. They came quickly to provide an estimate and scheduling the job was easy..

The painting and installation of the baseboards went, I have no complaints about the quality of the work that was performed. They accommodated my schedule and were responsive when I called. My only complaint:: the estimate included the replacement of the casement for 4 windows. After the job was completed only 2 were replaced, the other 2 were simply painted. When I brought this to the attention of the project manager he told me that I didn't mention the 2 casements at the walkthrough on the day the work was done. As a project manager I know that work is completed based on the specs(estimate) not the client's memory. The omission was resolved by a reduction in the balance, but I was annoyed.

It was a great experience. We worked with Michael who managed the project, and Eldar who led the team. Mike gave a reasonable estimate, and was very easy to work with. He was honest and professional throughout the entire project and explained everything with clarity. We were overjoyed with the final results and couldn't be happier! The colors came out great, the paint-job was impeccable and the time spent and cost were all within reason. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, and we would definitely work with them again. Thanks for making our home exactly what we wanted it to be.
