Description of Work: I purchased this service on Angie's List and received a call from Precision Painters Plus. They came and looked at what needed to be done and were supposed to get back to me with an estimate. I still have not heard from them, despite the countless phone calls I made in an attempt to reach them. Furthermore, I have been receiving unwanted solicitations from them through email. I am very upset with this purchase and truly regret visiting Angie's List because of this. Please take care of this problem immediately.

Description of Work: After initial contact, Service Provider requested that I text him my email address in order to schedule an appt. After doing so on July 15, 2013, he hasn't contacted me yet.

Description of Work: There were excusable delays due to a very rainy period in early May but Jason felt guilty about the latest delay and offered to do the work for free. It is scheduled for Thursday, May 23.

Description of Work: These guys are good - no. I mean they are great. If you haven't tried them, you are missing out on a pure professional painting service experience.

Description of Work: We purchased the coupon with the intention of using it for taping and spackling . When Jason came to look at the job he felt that it would take much more time than the coupon entitled us to. However he was professional and respectful and we would not hesitate to use their services at another time.

Description of Work: I called for an estimate. Set up a date and time. No show, no call. I called the office to ask if we were on the schedule. ( I know miscommunications can happen) and the office confirmed we were. If you don't want the job or don't have the time, just say so up front. I won't waste your time, and you won't waste mine.

Description of Work: Estimate came in on time. Wall paper removal and painting job was of quality. While removing the wall paper in the halway my chime door bell system was broken. Called the company back. John shows up to try to fix, he can't so after weeks of going back and forth he tries to find a handyman. Drops the ball for about a month with no contact. Finally I contact him and request the owners name and contact number. John calls back and says he will send someone to fix the doorbell. He said he is trying but can not get anyone to come fix it. After many attempts on my part to find resolve even suggesting that I will find someone if they pay for the repair I have had no response back. Door bell to this date, 3 months later is still broken and Precision Painting will not call me back. Originally I had asked for additional quotes on deck and floor refinishing - estimated at approx $4000.00. Precision lost all of these jobs becasue of a doorbell. Anyone can paint...the aggrevation is just not worth it.

Description of Work: Did a beautiful and amazing job repainting the exterior of our 3,000 sq. ft home. They are the only paint company I will ever use. We have also used them for the interior, painting five floors of our home, including kitchen, dining room, living room, library, den, downstairs office, master bath, two bedrooms, 3 doors, and 19 window sills. Mike Zilberman is warm, sweet, understanding, and meticulous. They take full responsibility if any of their painters are late or unprofessional in any way and rectify the situation immediately. LOVE THEM!

Description of Work: We ended up doing more work then we signed up for, which was our call. We added molding in the living room and dining room and he also cleaned up a leak in our stair hallway. The owner was a really nice guy and try to work with us on the price. We bought the paint to save money because it was on sale at our Ace Hdwe. The workers were fast and did a good job. My one complaint was that they left some garbage on the lawn which I had to pick up after they left. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I purchased a "Big Deal" for $199, which provided for eight hours of labor from Precision Plus Painting. I intended to use the coupon to paint a newly-renovated basement play room and the stairway leading downstairs (less than 500 sq. ft., 7 ft. ceilings). Jason from Precision promptly contacted me after I purchased the coupon, and we were in contact while my renovation work was being finished. When the space was just about ready to be painted, Jason was available within a few days to assess the job. When he came to look at the space, he assessed the job as much more intricate than we had expected. He thought that painting a freshly renovated half basement space would take two full days with a two- or four-man crew, which sounded excessive to me. When I tried to speak with Jason about simply doing work around the baseboard and in the corners (i.e., the "cutting in" work), he told me that even that work would take more than eight hours because he would have to prime the space first. When I told him that I didn't need a primer because the space was only going to be used as a basement playroom, he stood firm that it would. My wife discussed using Benjamin Moore Aura paint with Jason, but he told her that he didn't like to use that paint. When my wife stated that we didn't mind paying extra for the low-VOC Aura paint, Jason again said that he didn't use Aura, and that another Benajmin Moore line would work just as good. Considering we were purchasing the paint, Jason's intransigence about the type of paint we would use for the job seemed odd, to say the least. Based on the fact that he seemed unwilling to do the type of work (i.e., the cutting in work) or use the type of paint (Benjamin Moore Aura) we wanted, it didn't seem like it would be a productive working relationship. We have requested a refund of our $199 coupon.

Description of Work: They made appointment sand didn’t show up. They canceled, and kept cancelling. When he was going on vacation he gave me a referral, and his referral didn’t even call. It was around the time of hurricane sandy and he may have been overwhelmed with work.

Description of Work: livingroom and bedroom painted. We chose warm sienna, an orangy red color for the livingroom. the corner where the livingroom wall met the doorway of the kitchen had a very jagged edge with reddish paint leaching onto the neutral color of the entrance to the kitchen. Rather than fixing this shotty work, we were told by dave that it was this way because we didn't paint the kitchen!!! We paid a lot of money to have the bedroom skim coated, and shortly thereafter a gap developed between the base molding and the wall. Rather than coming to repair this, Dave told us it was not their fault -it was due to settling. I would never every use PPP again, nor would I recommend using them.

Description of Work: Did a wonderful job would use them again - painted delicate stairs and rises and another side wall in 1 day

Description of Work: Purchased 8hrs of spackle/paint time, worker came first night and said he would only do the spackle because it needed time to dry, i said okay. They came back to paint when they said they would and did a great job with the paint, the spackling however was sub par. I can see lines on the wall, i can see the tape job that they fixed on the ceiling, and so on. They did spackle the screw holes very well though. Also, the thing that bugged me was that i purchased 8hrs of time and they came for 1 hour the first night and 7 the second but went for an hour lunch in the middle. If you have areas that don't need much spackle they will do a great job.
