I contracted with Precision Painting Plus for painting of a bedroom, including ceiling, and widening a door frame with new pre-hung door installation. The result was terrible. After taking the ?pre-hung? door apart, it is completely misaligned, unable to close, and is coming loose from the screws. The edges were improperly beaded. The door was left too long and opening is stopped by the floor. The saddle was destroyed and not replaced. The door is non-functional. Gallons of top quality, expensive, Sherwin-Williams paint with primer were used up on poorly prepared walls. The walls were poorly prepped leaving elevated spackling areas and pock marks throughout the entirety of the painting. Stress cracks and nail holes were ignored, areas were over-spackled and under-spackled, leaving convex/concave areas. Repair will require spackling, sanding, and repainting of the entire room. The paint job was rushed the last day, after the incompetent carpenter spent two and a half days working on the door. Numerous aspects of the company's advertised policies were side-stepped. There was no crew with a foreman. Two men were sent, with neither announcing themselves as a foreman. One was described as a carpenter. The other man was not knowledgeable about door installation. He did not supervise any aspect of the contracted work and contributed to the poor workmanship. He spent two days frequenting our bathroom, with multiple uses and inordinate time spent in this pursuit. The alleged carpenter worked for two and a half days on the door, with poor results. Also, a large number of cigarette butts were left on our driveway, showing that an inordinate amount of time was spent away from the job-site. Healthy employees were promised. There has been: -destruction of perennial beds by placing heavy lumber refuse directly on them. -washing paint illegally in the landscape with disregard of the cesspool status, against local ordinance. -shaking dust and garbage laden drop clothes on the driveway without subsequent sweeping, leaving a residue, including nails/screws. -littering by leaving a large number of cigarette butts in the driveway. -overuse for two days of a bathroom by one of the employees, raising health status suspicion. -spending two and a half days on the door, without results and then rushing the painting job. -leaving uneven lines and borders, due to lack of blue taping. -starting late and leaving early, such as rushing away at 2 to 3 pm regardless of job status and needs. -the apparent lack of a knowledgeable foreman on the job site to prevent the above. -a missing large section of floor molding (thrown away). -inadequate priming of baseboard heating. -painting over wood-grain, decorative floor moldings that clearly matched the carpet. -delayed rectification of the situation by management, with the statement prior to inspection, that ?I believe my men? and coming ill-prepared to improve the situation. Even after inspection, management continued to defend the workmanship, by blaming the homeowner with interference. -the workmen in question refused to show a license when asked, as required by law. -the salesman wrote a contract that described a lesser job. -name of owner of the company withheld. -Management visited the site twice and made no attempt to correct the situation. Two subsequent scheduled repairs were cancelled the afternoon before the agreed upon time. I only found out about the cancellations because I called to confirm. Setting aside the time on my part resulted in time and income loss. -There was a recent complaint very similar to mine. In summary, there was very poor, destructive, and incomplete workmanship, with no professionalism. The matter was resolved by return of the deposit. I now have to start the whole project over again in the middle of the winter.

I think they did great work! The crew was extremely meticulous. They really went the extra mile to make sure I was completely satisfied. The foreman was very professional, and everything went smoothly.

My experience with Precision Paint was a nightmare! We were told that a team would be at my home daily between 9 and 10 every day until job was completed.. supervised by a foreman. We had contracted for wallpaper removal, interior painting, molding and installation of closet doors after parallel wall was closed up. We had agreed there would be a week break between in order to facilitate moving of furniture into completed rooms, removing furniture from rooms to be worked on. It was anticipated work would be completed 2- 3 weeks. Well.. it took 6 weeks!! Workers would tell us they would be at our home in the morning and would show up at 3 in the afternoon.. work for an hour.. then tell us they forgot the paint!!.. show up next day at 2 in the afternoon.. because.."had other jobs to do!!' and leave 2 hours later. .Quality of work was awful!!.. when finished first 2 rooms.. and we questioned molding not painted.. door knobs put in backwards.. resulting in inability to open closets.. was told by foreman.. a few times.. "will do that when finish whole job". Told him many timkes.. unable to do that because.. furniture will now be back in rooms.. floors refinished etc.. they refused and consequently..molding in 2 rooms never completed.. loss of uses of completed closets for weeks. .they attempted to replace molding on bedroom doors that is from top of side of door to floor by patching 2 pieces of molding together halfway up the door!!!! When painting.. no tarps were used!!a month and a half later i am still cleaning paint off of bathroom tiles..!! Becuase of constant needs to redo sloppy work.. incompetent work and complete disregard of the customers needs.. promised services.. and complete disruption of our lives.. they had to repair shoddy work on weekends.. holidays etc..It was a complete nightmare!! Crown molding and chair rail in one room had blue paint on them.. wallpaper removal... Crown molding was installed OVER wallpaper that was to be removed!! when questioned foreman stated.."its the way it is done!!!!" I am still trying to remove wallpaper removal material from bathroom floors.. sinks. .After 6 weeks of h***.. the foreman did sent in a group of workers for one day to fix some of the problems.. and mind you.. i had been voicing my concerns and dissatisfaction throughout...my husband is now completing painting of molding that was unfinished.. touch ups etc.. My advise to all is to NOT use Precision Painting.. they make promises they do no deliver.. employ workers who clearly are not able to deliver work that is promised. when problems are voiced to foreman.. they attempt to cover up problems.. and place blame on homeowner!!".. placing crown molding over wallpaper to be removed is standard".. Is how its done.. leaving bathroom with ripped down wallpaper strewn on floor and covered floors for a MONTH!!!installed closets unusable for weeks.. trying to fit in customer while simultaneously doing other jobs.. therefore.. can only come for 2 hours today.. tho told u full day.. and since time constraints.. can only work next day.. july 4th.. we had guests coming.. and had workers in and out etc. a nightmare!! Do NOT use Precision Painting!
