Precision Painting Plus of Long Island

All went very well. I purchased this offer as an Angie's "BIg Deal," as we were looking for a provider of power-washing of the cream- coloured vinyl portion of our home, both on the ranch level, and one partial upper level, above the main brick of the house. I phoned for an appointment, and was told Jason (?) would have to call me back to schedule it. He did so promptly, and between a few phone-tag conversations and messages, we connected and set up the appointment. He was polite and friendly, and when he called the morning of the date the work was be performed, to re-schedule the original appointment, due to a medical emergency of one of the workers in the middle of the night, he was most apologetic and gracious. Of course, I understand that these things happen. The team showed up on the next business day, after the weekend, and did a great job! I had been very specific when speaking with Jason that I am an avid gardener, and the landscaping, flowers gardens, and vegetable gardens were really important to me, and asked that special care be taken. The crew disturbed nothing, and were thorough in what they did. (I was not here that day, due to a prior engagement, but Jason said that I did not need to be at home, as long as the water was turned on, and outdoor faucets were accessible.) I would definitely recommmend the company, and use their services again.

First day of painting was done by one painter and things went very smoothly. Second day of painting was done by 2 painters and things did not go as smoothly as they did the first day. Painters needed to return another day for a while to touch up areas that were missed during the painting process. Owner was helpful and polite to deal with.

Exceeded my expectations. They were prompt reliable and professional. Felt confident enough to go on vacation while they painted my' house. Brando and his crew did a neat and clean job The pricing was reasonable and my house looks great. . e I have recommended them to 2 friends

Jason and his guys were great. Jason actually sent two painters to do the job in 4 hours. When he came to look at the job before hand, he was up front and honest about being able to complete the job in the allotted time. He told me what the additional cost would be and when the job was complete I was not charged a single cent more. The painting was high quality and I was very pleased with the overall service. Would definitely use again and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Provider power washed house and also, washed additional sections at no extra cost. The men that provided this service were very careful in areas of stoop (not to damage light fixtures)and the work was done in a very professional way, and there was no mess( ex. hoses,or other ). I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them next year- they also provide painting- and would, without a doubt, consider this company for painting, especially after seeing how careful they were on the exterior power washing.

It's been a tough spring with all the rain but PRECISION kept in contact. He first came and power washed the shake. He was nice enough to power wash a good part of the rest of house for no additional cost. When the weather finally allowed they came and prepared and painted the den shake siding and 12 white shutters. They started with 2 men and ended up with 3. This is a family business and the people were very nice, made up of the owner, uncle and father The partner Cristina Plaza is a very nice young man. There original estimate was very fair and less than others bidding on job. What really impressed me was the time spent making sure all shakes were nailed in properly. They took all day and did a very fine job. I will use them again in fall.

Jason promptly responded to my phone call, visited, gave a verbal estimate, explained the work and answered all my questions. I was impressed by his friendliness and professional knowledge. That evening, he e-mailed me a complete Work Order, listing everything in great detail. We set a date (2-day job). The painter arrived exactly on time both days. He did a wonderful job, and left everything neat and clean afterwards. I was greatly impressed, and will use this company again for all my future painting needs. I highly recommend them.

It went very well. However, they were unable to complete everything I wanted and I am disappointed they did not respond to my request for additional work.

They showed up on time, did what they said they would do, fixed whatever I wanted fixed, including another coat of paint on the red wall. They were professional, cleaned up after themselves, and I would recommend them to ANYONE!

We got estimates for the painting of our kitchen cabinets with aluminum trim which ranged from $1500 - $1975. Precision Painters Plus quoted us $10,000 for the same job!

the gentleman was very nice and did the job in less time than I expected. Very professional and didn.t waste time. I was very happy and I definetly use them again.

the first day they gathered my furniture to the middle and covered it then they primed the ceiling, and replaced the drywall. the next day they skim coated the walls and painted the ceiling,Next day they sanded any areas that needed it, and painted the ceiling 1 more time and the walls twice. They then waited till it dried and put up the moulding. and replaced the furniture. I was shocked at how good it looked when I came home.

Went Great. They showed up actually early then our appointment. Moved all the stuff from the border of the house and did a great job . The house looks great. They put the stuff back and left. Fantastic job.

All was good. Paid separately for paint since I used an Angies big deal which did not include paint

Painters were clear about what could and could not be done , were extremely professional with covering furniture, were thorough, and the job looked beautiful. I would definitely hire them again.

Two guys arrived at my house at 8:30 am & powerwashed my house. They were on time & very courteous. I think they did a good job, .they were there for about 2 hours and did not damage any windows. My house did look a lot cleaner.

I highly recommend this company. They were terrific from the promptness of the initial appointment and estimate through scheduling of the work. They came when they said they would and completed the project in a timely manner. The quality of the work was excellent. I am very pleased with the cost and the overall experience.

This company did an excellent job--- Neat, clean, punctual and professional. As promised, Jason was at my house at the start of the job and at the end to inspect the work. I'm thoroghly satisfied with the work that was done. Couldn't ask for more.

The job was completed in one day. I asked them to supply the paint and materials. I ws told the price for painting and repair was $400. + materials. I agreed to this thinking the pain ter waould get a discount he did not. The paint was the top of the line from Benjamin moor. When I presented the 10% off coupon a call was made to Chris the owner, I was told, You got the discount when the job was quoted and that this was a great price and he could not lower the price any more. I accepted reluctantly because it was a nice job and I wasn't goingv tfo Argue.

PPP has done work for us in the past. Our kids have gotten older; thus it was time to repaint there rooms to what they want. Precision Painting originally came to give an estimate for the 3 rooms, but then I asked him if I do more work can he help me out. He came back 2 days later and he helped me fit all the rooms in my budget. Guys showed on time, were professional, courteous, and hard working. When I showed him 2 small things I need help with, without hesitation they said Yes. As expected I had another great experience with Precision Painting. I have since referred them to my in-laws and I know it will be another great experience

We were contacted by Jason about the need to reschedule and agreed to a new date. Jason contacted us the day before and told us the name of the lead man on the job. The two men arrived promptly, were friendly and professional and completed the job quickly and satisfactorily.

Unfortunately, my sister's experience with this company was not the best, and poor communication was a recurring theme. At the outset, the person with whom she spoke on the phone did not follow up with her to confirm a day to meet, and then told her at the last minute that he was on his way over on a day they had not scheduled. After that, he also didn't follow up with sending the email intended to confirm the date the work was to be done, the cost, and outline of the work. After a while, she contacted him to make sure he was definitely taking the job - and that no one was just going to show up at her door one day since the date was never confirmed - which, it turns out, they would have had she not called. When the workers did come to do the job, they showed up completely uninformed as to what the job entailed. They did not bring a ladder tall enough to complete the work on the stairwell and had to borrow my brother-in-law's ladder to do so. They also apparently had not been told by the supervisor (who had allegedly created a work order including all these necessary details) that there were two different colors to be used for the job - one for the kitchen, the other for the hall and stairwell. So, even despite the fact that the gallon of paint containing the color for the kitchen was sitting right on the kitchen counter, they ended up painting it the wrong color - and sent my sister out to go buy more paint (a task and additional expense that would not have been necessary if they'd used the correct color). The lack of communication between the supervisor and the workers was evidenced by an unacceptable level of unpreparedness. Obviously, with the paint color mix-up, the job took a lot longer than it should have to complete and, when it was finally done, my sister and her husband found drips in the paint here and there, places that had not been spackled (which they were supposed to do), noticeable brush strokes and uneven borders. Basically, it looked like any typical home owners might have done it themselves - it did not have the seamless look of being done by a professional. Did the price they charge come in cheaper than other quotes? Yes. Was the savings worth it? Not really.
