Precision Painting Plus of Long Island

$199 for 8 man-hours of painting I purchased this deal for my elderly parents. One uses a wheelchair, the other a walker. Their 2 bathrooms were totally demolished and renovated. One was made handicap accessible. .I experienced poor communication with Jason, and between Jason and his painters. I wanted a ceiling painted white. It was painted the same color as the walls. New shower curtains and waste cans were not removed prior to sanding and painting. Dust everywhere. Paint on curtains, floors, cabinets, which are two weeks old. I had to have them come back to paint the door frames. Even then, it required 4 phone calls to clarify the door frame,not the door,and molding on hall side of door, not the hallway, that needed to be painted. Too much aggravation and money for small square-footage.

Overall it went pretty well except for one communication gap between the coordinator and the painters. However, the issue was addressed once pointed out. The mnager kept in touch throughout the process and kept me informed and provided professional advice.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they were good. I bought some extras so there were additional charges to the Big Deal price. They did not put up any new drywall, but there was a lot prep work including scraping, mending and stuff. They spent a couple of days doing the work. They were very efficient and the price was okay.

James responded to my calls within a reasonable delay. He replied to my IMs and kept me in touch how the work would be scheduled. After bunch of IM conversation over the 3 days , he schedule the work on Friday which was one of my pre-selected days. I bought his 4 Man Hours coupon for Handyman work. I asked him to send me one person and I would help out. He send Martin and a helper. They promised to get the work done quickly and accurately. Martin's skill with sheetrock is very good. All of the above mentioned work was done in 2 hours ( they really rushed the work maintaining quality ). The purchase material from Home Depot which cost me additional $31 ( as planned ). Originally Martin & helper didn't leave the left over material, but after I asked them, they were very cordial to do so. They put some effort to keep the area clean, but it is not easy for ceiling works, so I didn't bother. Overall I was happy with the quality and I would recommended them again.

He arivved on time amd was proffesional and we recieved the quote via email within his quoted time frame,. He was under bid by only one of 3 painting co. I would definately request qoutes and hire his co.in the the furture.

I was very happy with the entire job. Jason, one of the owners, came over a few days before the job was going to start, and we went over everything. He was straight forward and honest. Neither of us were sure long how long the wall paper removal would take. At that time, he said if it would be longer than the package I purchase which was 2 painters for 8 hours ( 16 work hours ) the cost would be $640 for the 2 painters the next day for 8 hours (16 work hours) which I agreed to with him. I gave him the paint colors and he would pick up the paint and I would pay him for the paint. On the day, the job Jason arrived along with the painters at the schedule time with all the equipment and supplies. The two painter, started on the paper removal, which took about 6 hours, and then they started on the minor wall repairs, The two gentlemen who did the job, worked the whole time with a half hour lunch break. Jason was back in the afternoon to check on the job and we discuss the next day schedule. On Saturday, the 29th, the painters at the scheduled time and started to work immediately. Jason came by about an hour later and asked if there was any problems and was I happy with everything, which I was completely. They did an excellent job of painting and were very careful while painting. Jason said to just pay them at the end of the day when the job was done. The job was finished on that day, including cleaning up all the material used to cover the floor and the furniture. They also swept up after and check to be no paint was on the floor. I would use this company again and recommend them to my friends and other members on Angie's List.

Painted reached all the high places in the room, and painted two coats, as the color being covered was a prominent greenish aqua, and this lovely Benjamin Moore "Muslin" was perfect for the job. Jason came at the time promised, and left a co-worker here to do the painting. I can't recall exactly how many hours were involved, but at least three. I am very satisfied and will call them again.

It worked out great. They were on time, neat, clean and respectful. They got done on time and did the job. They were lovely.

Mike sat down with us and explained all the details of what was to be done. He emailed instructions and asked us to select all the various paint colors we would want and all the various finishes of paint. Alex called to set the appointment. They were prompt and showed up on the agreed day with two painters. They were pleasant , moved the necessary furniture, covered up all the exposed areas with drop cloths and were pleasant and professional. Alex checked the progress throughout the day and was very accommodating to our needs. Everything was done in 2 days... I was shocked how neat they were and how nice my house looked! Now my rooms are cheerful and it has made a huge difference in the overall appearance of the house. I would recommend them any time... I felt they were extremely reasonable in price and I am most satisfied!

The service was excellent. They were extremely proficient. They were able to paint considerably more than we had thought they would be able to do in the time period allowed. Not only did they do a wonderful job, but they were extremely neat and very pleasant people.

The workers were neat, unobtrusive, and accommodating. My husband wanted to upgrade the paint from Benjamin Moore (which itself is a fine paint), and Jason said "no problem" and only charged us the difference in cost. Definitely plan to use them indoors this winter.

Alex called promptly, arrived at the agreed, and was very professional. He gave us a resonable and precise estimate. On 09/17/13, a work order and color template arrived via Email. We returned the completed documents. Alex called to arrange a day and time for the job. He called back on the day before to comfirm. His crew arrived on time and went right to work. Everyone had a job and did it. The team work was obvious. They were very polite. The patching, priming, and painting were almost completed by 05:00PM. THe next day they arrived at 08:00 AM to put the 2nd coat on the Master Bedroom. At about 10:30 AM, the crew was finished, and Alex arrived. He inspected the work, asked my wife and I if we were satisfied, and business was concluded. Precision was extremely careful and neat. They cleaned up thoroughly. Everything was spotless. We would recommend Pricision Painting Plus to anyone.

The painter was great. He did an excellent job on the rooms. He was thorough, communicated with me, and was professional. The only reason why I gave the company a B rating is because of the time it took to schedule the appointment. There was a lot of back and forth and difficult time setting a date and number of hours and painters I would have. I just wished it was better projected. That would have given the company a higher rating.

They (2 Painters ) arrived at 8:30 am .They moved my China Closet a little as it was too close to the wall .They then painted 1 did the ceiling while the other did the walls.After the first coat they took a break, while letting the paint dry.At about 9:30 they started the second coat.By 10:15 it was done.It looked so much better.

I work and we made an appointment. I waited all day and he never showed up. When I called the office they said the person I spoke to was probably new. A week later they called to tell me that they canceled the appointment. Now they won't stop calling.

It turned out great. They did an excellent job. They cleaned up after themselves very well and they were very accommodating with regards to anything that had to be corrected in respect to the work. Once they've started there was some rain in between, but they finished the job quickly. We paid a little bit more for some extra paint they had to use. Once they committed they were there as they said.

I was unsatisfied with the responsiveness, no work was completed.

excellent. Jason and team were responsive and did job on short notice. One of ceilings has popcorn texture that was discolored. Workers really did a great job of sanding and matching the texture. they arrived on time and finished complete job on time.

Fantastic. Purchased $199 deal through Angie's List. It took a few days to actually schedule the painting but the work was fantastic. They arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently.

Jason's worker did a great job. Exceeded my expectation! The painting and drywall jobs were both done very well. Lindo, the painter was very professional, excellent painter and very accommodating. He didn't waste any time at all. He was punctual and professional. I would definitely use their services again.

we purchased a big deal from Angie's List, for a painter for a day. we were contacted by Jason from Precision Painting Plus, and he came by our house to look at the room. It was a simple process after we finally booked a day for the painting to be done. There was a small miscommunication on the date the job was to be done...we had confirmed one, but then somehow it was not put down in the appointment log. Jason, apologized and said that he would try to find a way to do it by the end of the same week. He said that by the end of the day he would contact us. He found us an opening...he worked a miracle and we had the job done within the next few days! The painter that came to the house was named Lindo...He was AMAZING and VERY professional. he went to purchase the paint color that we chose from our local Benjamin Moore paint store and started the job right away. he was so quiet and understanding of our 2 curious young children...He worked all day and only stopped for a small snack that he had brought with him. A wonderful paint job, and the room looks so fresh and new! we had a good experience with the company and would use them again.

I purchased a "Big Deal" for 8 hrs of painting/drywall repair for $199. The worker came first and did the drywall work in about 3-4 hours. At first, Jason from Precision Painting said the big deal was for "up to" 8 hours, and that since the painting couldn't be done until a later day after the drywall repair had dried, that would not be included in the cost of the "Big Deal". I was upset that I had paid for 8 hours of work but was only getting about half that. After some further discussion Jason agreed to do the painting for a reduced additional cost. So in the end the total job probably cost me less than what it would have had I not purchased the Big Deal, but perhaps not by much. The quality of the work, both the drywall repair and the painting, was excellent. The painter also worked quickly and quietly, which I appreciated since I work from a home office. Overall I would recommend Precision Painting Plus, with the advice to make sure the cost of the job and what's included in the estimate are made completely clear before any work is begun.
