Precision Painting Plus of Long Island

I was a bit concerned as one of the holes in the sheetrock was pretty extensive.? I was pleasantly surprised to find that after the repair, I couldn't even tell there was ever any damage there!? Amazing repair, amazing job.? Work was completed in one day.

I started to look into getting my house painted in July 2013, and contacted Precision Painting. When I called, I got their super friendly and professional phone answering service. They courteously took my contact information and said someone would contact me ....but no one ever did. Then I called again and was assured I would hear back......but i never did. Things got crazy at work so put off the painting project until Spring of 2014. By this that time I had forgotten about the previous non responses and once again contacted Precision for a price quote. reached their super friendly and professional call answering team and when I started to ask for a quote and started to give my contact info they had me on file.....it all came back to me! I even said to the guy on the phone...."Now I remember! I leave my contact information and NEVER hear back from these guys!" And his reply...........total silence. I don't know how they pick and choose who they'll call back and who they won't...but they never called me back! That's in 2013 and2014! My home is now painted by another painting company and I'm very happy with the work the other Company did.

They were punctual, professional and cleaned up when they were done. They took a little longer than I anticipated but overall did a very good job. Highly recommended.

Great experience. Alex gave us a clear estimate, and scheduled the job around our commitments. The crew arrived on time both days and did all the proper prep before painting- tarps on shrubbery, scraping, minor fills, and priming wherever necessary. Finished job looks great and the crew cleaned up well.

Third time I have used this company. Excellent as usual. Jason is the best. Great job, prompt, clean. I was very pleased.

Purchased painting service on 7-14-14 stated it was for a new kitchen and that we needed 3 weeks until it was paint ready. They sent an email stating someone would be in contact with me to go over the project. A month passes no contact. I sent a second email on 8-13-14. I received a response on 8-18-14 and was asked to see images of kitchen to see if it was 8 hours worth of work. Pictures sent and no contact until 8-21-14 after I complained in a email that they hadn't been responsive. I plan on using a different painting service.

It went very well. The manager was always available and accommodating, stopping by every day and overseeing the project. The staff was very professional and helpful, doing little extras and being polite at all times. The shrubbery outside was well protected. The interior areas adjoining the painting areas were also well protected. They left the place very clean and neat. Whatever leftover paint there was, they put in the garage as I requested. When they finished, he took stuff to the curb that a restoration company left to dry after the flood.

They did great. They moved my furniture and covered everything up. They did it on my schedule and had the whole job done within two days. When they finished, I did find one unfinished spot of spackling but they came back on Memorial Day to finish the job which only took about 45 minutes.

This was the 2nd time I used them. I previously had them paint a bathroom, bedroom and hallway. They did a fine job then with relatively little paint splatters on my carpets. This last time I had a different team of painters to do my living room, dining room, bathroom, hallway and bedroom. I was not at all pleased with this group. Much of my woodwork was peeling and I pointed out that I did not want to see this. They did a relatively good job in the bathroom as far as fixing the peeling areas; however since they used the sink and tub there, it quite some time for me to clean up the mess. They had to remove wallpaper from the bedroom which was fine, but were not careful in removing the switch plates. I did not have the screws to replace them. They did not paint the side of one of the closet doors and paint was easily smudged on the window sill. Plenty of paint splatters on the carpet. They did a good job in the small hallway and the dining room ceiling and windows. The living room had a lot of fixing to be done and that was the last room they did. The walls were done well, but the woodwork still had the look of peeling paint ? they did not scrape/prepare the wood. Since I had to pay for the paint and they did not use a gallon, I am stuck for that amount. I have requested they return to complete the job and was told they would, but it is 6 months later and still no one has come; they are ignoring my emails. They did do this paint job in the middle of snow storms and one of the painters shoveled my walk which I very much appreciated. I also had to request that they put down something on my carpet to protect it from the snow they were tracking in. On one of the days, one of the workers was sick-sneezing and moaning. They were outside smoking about 9:30 and 10:30 went to lunch and left by 2:30. I also had to supply my dry vacuum and give them garbage bags for the glue paste that was dripping into my basement. I also had to ask them to paint behind the radiator. They painted over hooks.

Needed drywall repair done on dining room ceiling (roof leak seeped down to small area of the dining room ceiling) & Precision Painting was recommended for job. Conducted research on company & their employee (Seth) received several complaints but what would be the chance that he would be assigned to my job so I decided to use the company. Had my reservations when Seth came to my home to conduct the estimate, but decided to go with company anyway. Quoted price of $350 for job & $400 for crown molding in living room. Seth stated I would get a call to set up a date for the job but never got call back. Waited several days; finally decided to contact another company when Jason called & scheduled the job for Friday 8/2/14 8-9 am. That morning got a call from Seth stating that they won't do the job. I then called Jason who stated he said no such thing. After the miscommunication the job was finally done by Lindo who did decent job. For their mistake took $50 off ($300). Overall grade of B.

We met with Michael a few times who toured the house and gave us a quote. We had a slight misunderstanding initially regarding the work being done and cost, but Michael came back a 3rd time to our house and we resolved everything. We received a really good price for the work that we had done. My husband met with at least 4 other painting vendors and they didn't even come close to the price we got with Precision. They completed the painting and molding in 1 week and then they did the hardwood floors for a few days. They came back the following week to complete any touch ups and to paint the exterior. We mainly dealt with Jason who supervised the project. We couldn't have asked for a better person to deal with throughout the project. He was professional, punctual and made sure that my husband and I were happy with everything before he left each day. We were out of our house for the 2 weeks during the work and he always made sure to contact my husband to give updates. He is one of the main reasons that we would use Precision again as he was so easy to deal with and made sure his workers did everything that we asked. We love how everything came out and would recommend them to anyone.

Very professional, a pleasure to deal with, cleanly, good job done--kept in contact via email, got me the correct color and best paint--Jason's guys--Eric and Peter --were a sincere pleasure to have in my home--kind, responsive, checked with me on every detail without ever being a burden here. Came exactly when they said they'd come, Jason was honest about his work load and let me pick around my available times. Very appreciated.

Workers arrived on time and did a great job. They delivered what was promised, worked fast and cleaned up nicely. Jason, my point person was a true professional. I would definitely hire them again.

It worked out fair. He painted the molding in the kitchen the same color as the hallway. The owner never did quality control. The workers collected the money. They were sloppy. I would not use them again.

obviously they don't do work on the island so why advertize? they need to take this ad down its a waiste of peoples time, I paid for a yr of angies list for good rating to to hire people who won't come out....?
