Precision Painting Plus of Long Island

When I didn't get the email estimate sent to me, I gave it all of Monday to come through. I called the office and got someone else who, again, was extremely friendly, and promised to sent our estimator an email. Two days later, since I hadn't heard back, I called AGAIN. Once again, a very nice operator promised to send my estimator an email. I asked her to please let him know that we understand that he might be too busy, but if that's the case, please just let us know. It's now the end of the week, and I planned carpet and furniture deliveries based on the paint being done. Matt's estimate was a fair price, so we had intended to use him for the job, but if was too busy, we certainly would have asked for other companies to come in and price the job. Perhaps our job was too small? I was just very disappointed in the lack of communication. I shouldn't have to stalk someone for an estimate. It was very surprising based on the ratings on Angie's List.

They were very professional, clean, told us what they were going to do step-by-step, and the foreman came before, during, and after the job to ensure everything was done property. I highly recommend them to others.

Generally went very well. However, before the painters left some areas needed to be redone.

So all I needed was some spackling and painting done to make the bathroom look nicer. I also was giving them the opportunity to do painting and wallpaper removal and some staining of doors and to paint a hallway. I got two other estimates with no problem before Jason from Precision Painting Plus of Long Island came to my house to waste my time. He said he would have the estimate right to me by the end of the day Wednesday. Of course that never happened. Then I contact them through Angie's List on Friday to find out where my estimate is and I get an email later in the evening asking me to fill out a survey and sorry I didn't want to consider them which was untrue. So I email Jason tell him I didn't even receive an estimate. He replies with "I apologize, I did not get to you sooner. I do not feel comfortable cleaning up the issues in the bathroom; therefore I will have to pass on the opportunity. I apologize for the inconvenience." Are your freaking for real. Shows they can't do a job and are unprofessional. All it was was spackling and painting in the bathroom how is this making them uncomfortable. This is supposed to be a professional company. Save your time and go to someone else for your needs. Not a company I would ever recommend to anyone ever! Poor service!! ALL JASON DID WAS WASTE MY TIME!! THANKS FOR NOTHING!

The team informed me when they were on their way, when they were going to get paint (as well as confirmed all the paint/finishes) and promptly showed up for the job. They were extremely neat, patched holes with plaster nicely and painted meticulously. I am extremely pleased with their work and the team who did it. The Job Site Mgr gave me a call the night before to confirm as well as called after the work was completed to ensure I had inspected the work and was happy. Top notch service . Thank you!

I know what to look for in a good painter, and they were excellent! They far exceeded my expectations and they did a great job!

After a couple days of getting in touch with the right project manager for our area, our painter for a week deal was handled by a crew immediately. We got lucky as another customer had to postpone, but we had our project completed the next day. Really great experience!

I hired Precision Painting Plus of LI after having a not so pleasant experience with another painter. Let me just say that Precision Painting Plus should be in everyone's phone book. I found them on Angie's List - they are pretty much #1 on here, with hundreds of very positive reviews. And after my very positive experience, I see why they are so popular. I have a large house and was on a time crunch to complete spackling, skimcoating and painting the whole house. The team they sent me was simply AMAZING. The level of customer service beats any other crew I hired so far. They work fast and truly do an excellent job. There was a lot that had to be done to make my house look like new and I didn't think it was possible, but my window trim, crown moldings, base moldings have been sanded down and speckled so well that they really do look like new. There was also a lot of restoration work - I have lots of plaster moldings. They did a very good job on them. Walls were skimcoated very well - and look like new. I'm very happy. The business is run very efficiently - they have dozens of teams working across all of NY, I see their vans everywhere in LI and Queens. They run it like a true American business, making sure customers are very satisfied. Their communication with the customer is very good, and they always promptly respond. One of the owners, Alex, would come to check the job site every single day which pleasantly surprised me. Here's an example of the wonderful customer service: After they were done, I noticed a few areas that needed touchups. They came the very next day. In addition, I had some shoe-molding in a few areas that wasn't yet installed because saddles weren't installed yet, so owner said without me even asking: "once you install these areas, call us and we'll come and paint them for free". Need awesome painters - call them and tell them Alina sent you!!!!

Precision Painting is amazing! Great job painting, extremely professional, fair price. We would recommend them to anyone and would use them again and again. Alex was who we dealt with and he is wonderful to work with. So helpful throughout the entire process. We decided to change colors halfway through the job since we didnt love the way it looked in a room. Alex and his team were understanding and helped us choose a better color for the room. They pay great attention to detail and go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with the job they do. Top notch work!

Jason the rep for Precision Painting visited my home to assess the painting job I requested and provided info and suggestions. On the scheduled painting day 2 painters artived on time fully prepared for the days painting work. They were professional, courteous, attentive to every detail in terms of the work to be done. They finished earlier than expected, cleaned up everything. The painted living room, master bedroom and hallway look fabulous. The painters are master painters as every line is perfect. I am impressed and very pleased. I will use this company again.

We used this company to paint the outside of them home we were selling and were so happy with their work we hired them to paint the interior of our new home. This is a large home and has a cathedral ceiling. Jason was the Manager and he went over every detail , walked us through each room and discussed what would be done. They removed curtain rods and repaired walls where needed as well as gave us advice about molding and colors. Half of the job had to be done after our furniture was moved in and I was concerned, but the painters were excellent, they arrived on time, covered everything and worked diligently to get the job done. Jason returned and checked the work and made sure everything done correctly. I would use them again and would highly recommend them.

The project manager was Jason. He was very professional and explained in detail everything that would be done. After our initial meeting I would text or call with additional questions and Jason always responded very promptly. On the scheduled date, I was told to expect the painters between 8-9 am and they arrived as promised at approximately 8:20 am. Oscar and Hilbert readied the room, covering all furniture and carpeting, with Jason supervising. After Jason left, they spackled several small holes in the ceiling, primed the damaged area, and applied two coats of paint to the ceiling, walls, trim, and closet and bedroom doors. They also painted a small, adjoining bathroom. Oscar and Hilbert worked diligently as a team, and when finished at 4 pm, cleaned up thoroughly. Jason returned at that time to check on the job and my satisfaction with the work. When I discovered the next morning that the stain from the water damage was still visible, Jason arranged to have another painter return at my convenience to do further repair work. This was Jose and he applied a different kind of spray primer and the stain has now completely disappeared.

The company never came or responded to calls. I called Angie's list to request a replacement painter, because I needed the work done before the weekend. I had out of town guest coming on Sat.

Excellent experience from first contact to delivery and payment. Timeline was respected. Everything was left clean. The quality of the work excellent. We will contact them again and definitely recommend to friends.

They crew came at the scheduled time. They had communicated with us prior so they had all the paint colors as per our selections. They started painting the original rooms we had arranged for but as they progressed, they were so efficient and neat we kept adding additional rooms. They did a great job and I would use them again and would recommend them as well.

The painter was prompt and arrived on time. Worked with a short break and completed the job before 5pm!

Crew began by power washing the house, then let it dry for a day, then returned to scrape peeling paint off. they followed with painting. whole project took about a week. All in all, it went smooth, with no issues. I would definitely use them again.

We purchase a fixer upper and we needed painting prep work done. We had many holes in the walls that needed to professionally patched. The prep work was excellent, and we were very pleased with the work done by the technician. We also had him finish a high ceiling bathroom painting that my husband half did. We provided the paint and supplies. After the work was completed by the painter, he called his project manager came by ask if we like the work, and I said yes. Very professional, and I would recommend this company to anyone that needs quality work done.

Michael came to our home and gave us a free estimate. He was polite and professional. We received the estimate via email within two business days which is the time frame he indicated. We had gotten three estimates and Precision Painting Plus had the best price and more importantly I felt very comfortable with Michael. Once I agreed to the price I was told that within a couple of days I would receive a call from Alex to schedule a time. Alex did call within that time frame and we scheduled the painters. He was very professional and whenever I called him to ask a question returned my call within 24 hours. On the day of the job Christen and another gentlemen arrived within the window of time scheduled. They were very polite and got right to work. They did a wonderful job both with the painting and cleaning up afterwards. I am planning to do my entire house in the near future and will definitely use this company again and will request Christen.
