Precision Painting Plus of Long Island

Painters did not show up the first day and no phone was made to notify me - lost vacation day. The members of the crew were very good overall. Unfortunately, after the job was done and the final check was mailed in (lesson learned?) a request for a return visit for minor finishing work (and for them to pick up a dropcloth, jacket and coffee mug left behind) was ignored. Additional calls to Precision asking for a call back to discuss the follow-up work were not returned. Ironically, I would like to use the crew again for additional work, but very regrettably the experience with the general operations / responsiveness and client service of this company make that difficult.

Alex and his team were amazing, specifically Junior, the foreman. They were fast and the work was impeccable. They even helped me make trim decisions and pick paint colors. Alex took calls and texts from me even in the middle of the night when I had questions. Everyone compliments the paint job and I've recommended them to a bunch of people already. Out of an entire new construction house they were my best contractor by far. Could not recommend them more!

Precision was very professional. I set up an appointment to have a free estimate performed. John came at the prescribed time. I explained to him the scope of the project and within a day or so I had an estimate in my inbox. I also got two other estimates from other contractors which I found on Angie's List. Precision was very competative on the final estimate. Precision kept to their schedule and were punctual. They came with four painter and finished the job in one day. It was done professionally. They did a great job protecting my furniture. They also did a great job cleaning up. I would definitly use them again.

They came on time, where very professional, their team worked hard and did a great job. The house looks Amazing! With the help of Paula (their designer) We decided to paint with 14 different colors! and they stood in this impossible mission like heroes. Lukas , their project manager, was kind and nice to deal with. He was always helpful and available 24/7. Thank you for making our old house feel like our new home.

The project was seamless.. Our project manager Alex Zwick was top notch. He did exactly what he said he was going to do right on schedule. Precision Painting finished in 4 days on a 2000 sq ft project from ceiling, walls, moldings, and our kitchen cabinets. My wife and I hired a cabinet guy to work on the new hardware and some of the holes that this guy drilled where oversized and it was noticeable so Alex came to our house on a Saturday to address these imperfections personally, needless to say this was above and beyond he scope of work. Thank you Alex, and thank you PP for hiring such good professional people we couldn't of got it done without you.

Great job timing was a little off but they were very responsive

Not very good. The new Sheetrock did not blend into the old creating wavy ripple lines. The taping lines were obvious and the workers had to be brought back to redo the spackling and smooth the lines . The ceilings were ok after that. The walls were painted and before the compound was completely dry and there was bubbling. That was later repaired and repainted . The basement had 2 feet cut out of sheetrock all along the wall bottoms and new SR was put in but the new didn't have the same depth and wavy ripples resulted. I think in places the studs needed shims to bring the new and old to even levels but that was not done.. The crew didn't have enough drop cloths and had to keep moving them around . This created sheet particles and dust to fly all over the floors. Overall not a professional job.

Painting was great. Spackle job was not.

They did a wonderful job. They were punctual, professional and cleaned everything up. I would highly recommend the company. Also, Senior Project Manager, Alex Zwick, checked up on the progress of the job was extremely professional and made sure everything ran smoothly.

Mike Adler was salesman and job manager. He was here every day. Floor refinishing was perfect and painless, with minimal dust. The wallpaper did not come off well. Mike handled the situation beautifully, and resolved it with a skim coat. This added days to the job at no additional cost to us. They did a beautiful job and the walls look new. Mike did an outstanding job managing what could have been a nightmare situation, and was a pleasure to work with. They are not the cheapest, but when combining floor and other services it became a good value.

I purchased an Angie's List offer for 16 hours of painting from Precision. Lukas and his crew did a great job. They were Skilled, Professional, Diligent and polite. I could not have been more pleased. I intend to use them for painting in the future.

They were the best price out of 4 painting companies. Showed up on time. Very neat. Painless experience.

Alex was very professional and the team was on time and very thorough. There was a little more work than originally anticipated and it was only $100 extra.

I must say I was very pleased, from the first meeting and the estimate and every other contact, the staff was responsive and helpful. The crew did the job in extreme heat, and after the project everything was left neat and tidy. The house looks great! I would definitely recommend this company.

Overall the service and job went very well. They were good communicators. They applies a primer and two coats which many companies would not. The workers cleaned up after themselves and were friendly. So far the quality of the work seems good. I worked with Sina who is very professional and helpful. The one thing I will caution a homeowner on is the final walk thru. One of the workers damaged a sprinkler head and I didn't catch it till after the walk thru. They company was not keen on addressing it. Ultimately I did not push the issue and paid for the repair myself. $50.00. So really check things out before the job is finished. I would have given them an A otherwise.

They were courteous, professional and very neat. We would not hesitate to hire them again for future painting jobs!
