Matt did an outstanding job. He's knowledgeable, professional, and down to earth. In this area it is difficult to find licensed electricians, let alone electricians that do a good job. Matt is now my go-to electrician. Fair pricing and transparent communication.

Matt was terrific. He responded to our request on Anji within the hour and was able to come in 3 business days. He confirmed that electric service to the outlets in our 2nd floor adjoining bathrooms was dead. We discussed solutions and ultimately decided to run a new line from the panel in the basement. This required putting holes in the walls but Matt cut very neatly and my paining contractor was able to easily repair them. He is a really nice guy to deal with and I highly recommend him.

He was honest and throughly explained the work to be done. He was also able to start the work sooner than we would have thought and completed it in one day.

I finally found a great electrician. Matt shows up on time and does the tough stuff. I'm restoring a 230 year old house and have gone through many unqualified people. Matt was my third electrician and he's wonderful. He cleaned up the other guys messes and rewired a two story section of the house. I'm so grateful to have it done and done right. (I wish there were 10 stars)

Matt was pleasant but had I not insisted on the first call he would have too gladly leave without one attempt at fixing the problem. I live with my son who is a handicap I needed the elevator working and after a bit of debate he at least tried to my suggestion to wire the mother board since technical team of the elevator company was closed for technical assistance. He did what I suggested, and it work but only in one direction after another debate he agreed to what I was suggesting next to interchange the wire position and the motor was back up, and fully operational. However, none of the limit switches were installed that day until he came back and spoked to the technical staff at the elevator company for which he had schedule a call back for Monday morning 9 am for which he was late by an hour and miss the call. Upon his return knowing the job he had no tools no material no crimp for the wires, and he needed them I had to send my caretaker 20 minutes away to go and buy some and then the whole job was done in less than two minutes for a total of 10 minutes two limit switches no material he provided cost me 600 dollars pricey if you asked me. However, we live in area where they are no electrician so where at their mercy, so you bite your tongue and pay thru the nose. Then he had the audacity to asked of me to write a review. Had he known what I was going to say he may wish he never had me to write one. I feel taken advantage of the vulnerability fact they are no electrician in this are and that he has taken full advantage of the situation and yet he wanted more another 100 dollars more for which I said is completely unfair. He makes more money than I make, and I am a physician who went to school for 8 years. Imagine two limit switches for 600.00 dollars it far from fair or cheap! Be aware of a competent Electrician but will take whatever he can from you! I wont be calling him again. Angi had quoted me 335 for this job yet he did not want them to pay them and had two electrician schedule for this job one on Friday and one on Saturday and them too are greedy they wanted to stick me for a cancel feel of the second electrician and indeed they had overbooked me they said we are allowed one time cancellation fee yet I never asked for two different appointment so they waived my one time schedule cancellation fee for something I never even did how fair is this that used up this one time when in fact I never did everybody is after charging us and no one exposed them I feel I just did express myself being unfairly treated and taken advantage off by everyone in this world who is going to pay for the psychological stress done to me.

I called Electrician Matt Baumert, he arrived the following day and did an excellent job installing 2 Flood Lights. He then returned a few days later (when my front lights were delivered) to install 2 Front Motion Lights, and wire electricity (to existing 24v transformer) to install and program a Door Bell and mechanical chime. Matt was so nice and patient while setting up and instructing me step by step on operating the System. He made everything seem so easy. (He also replaced a hall light switch.) I highly recommend Matt Baumert and American Electrical Standard and would use them again.

Matt was able to complete the job the same day that I called. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely hire again.

If you need electrical work done look no further. Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with and he did a fantastic job installing a new chandelier in the dining room for us. We couldn't be happier. Matt was beyond helpful in walking me through issues that were raised in an inspection report of our home. He was upfront with all costs and explained how and why certain things needed to be done. The job was done quickly and thoroughly. I highly recommend Matt.

Matt contacted me about 5 minutes after I posted the request. We quickly made an appointment and I immediately hired him. After getting a few estimates from other electrical companies, I decided to go with American Electrical Standard for a new service in my home as their price could not be beat! I was so impressed with how professional this crew was! They were punctual and efficient. When they were finished they cleaned up their work area so well that it looked better than before! Everything went perfectly! Matt was my electrician and he was absolutely amazing. Everything was done extremely professionally to my liking. He was very easily accessible and flexible to work with what was best for me. He installed four chandeliers around my house and they all came out flawless each time.
