How did it go? In a word SUPERBLY! Brian and his team of exemplary workers, Dough, Jason, and Jeremy did a great job remodeling my garage as I had envisioned. At the end of the project, which took only a week, what I had pictured in my mind was reality! I know have a garage that I can be proud of and a backyard shed which now has lighting, so I can see the mess I have to clean up. I've already hired Brian to do another project for me: replace a broken outdoor faucets and already have a few other projects in mind for him to do. Brian is honest, fair, polite and professional. As is his team. What more could you ask for? Hire him. You won't be sorry! Norm

Brian and his crew arrived on time. They were polite, professional, and went right to work. They completed the work in two different bathrooms in just one day and definitely left the place in better shape than when they found it. Brian was able to diagnose a problem with the wiring in our home that had stumped others before and repaired it in less than 30 minutes. He provided a detailed estimate of what the work would cost. The final tally was within the price range he initially quoted. We have a long list of repairs that need taking care of in our 120 year old home and look forward to working with Brian and his crew again. I really appreciated his passion for getting the job done right.

This job was a little complicated and required Brian's time to investigate exactly what the deck was doing and how to best correct the situation. His team worked quickly, but they forgot/misunderstood some of the project. When I discussed this with Brian, he quickly investigated and made sure the job was done properly and that I was happy. It's the owner's responsibility to monitor the job and ask questions if there are any concerns and Brian is very responsive to any issue. He's always ready to discuss any project in great detail. I have used him on several projects on this rental property and always felt that he thoroughly thinks through each project. He also takes lot's of time to make sure he understands what I am looking for and that we are on the same page about how to proceed. I feel that Brian consistently provides the best solution at the best price.

We were away when Brian & crew performed the job. Brian and I developed a generally descriptive task list during the job estimation, and I provided the materials (vanity, towel rods, fan, toilet, fixtures, ect.) A bit of structural repair was also included. When we returned, we found a well done remodeling job that all in the family were pleased with. Additionally, Brian promptly returned to address matters in a brief punch list, and provided a creative solution to a particular aspect of the job, the heating vent. Costs did not exceed the estimate. The only downside of the job is that the bright, shiny new bathroom made evident the work needed in other parts of our home.

Brian was very responsive to my concerns about the lights flickering in the house. He came and looked things over. He didn't see anything that was causing it in the house and suggested I contact National Grid. He did recommend some things be taken care of in the near future. My house is old and and the electrical panel needs upgrading and some things need to be put on their own circuit. There was not charge for this consultation. Not long after this, a security light was not functioning correctly and needed to be replaced. He fit this into his schedule quickly and took care of it while I was at work.

I went to various contractors to solve my wood flooring issues. I had dog stains on three areas and rug line stains in two. All of the contacted contractors would not take the job. or stated that they would have to remove and replace parts of the wood flooring. I went to Angie's list in desperation. Finally on the search engine I found this contractor, Affordable solutions. He looked at the job, gave various options, and tried the cost saving solution. It worked, my floors in the Dining rooms, Great Grand room, and office look like new.

Less than 5 days from initial contact to completion of work. Easy to deal with and work was neat. Thank you.

Although Brian did not actually complete any work for us I would highly recommend his company and will definitely call on him again. Brian was very professional and courteous from the very first phone call. He came to our house to assess our basement and was very honest about the problem and his ability to handle the situation. Brian was unable to find the source of the water that keeps coming into our basement and therefore didn't feel comfortable addressing the problem on his own and recommended we contact some one who specialized in basement drainage/waterproofing. His honesty and professionalism were refreshing and he definitely earned our respect and future customer

They were to clean and silicone gutters, guy that did work said there were no leaks, i don't think silicone was used, but i was charged for it. I thought all my gutters were to be cleaned. the bill said front gutters. I was charged $75.00 to put up towel bars. they are bot spaced the same.

I had called Brian several months ago for a quote for some electrical work. He was very quick to respond and came over to check out what work I needed done. I had a quote within a few days. Unfortunatley things got very busy for me and i never set up a date for work. I contacted hime several months later and again he got right back to me. He still had all my information and was very accommodating to the fact that I decided to have some other stuff done instead of what we originally had gone over. We se ta date and he came over with a member of his crew. I am very pleased with the work that was done as well as their tidiness and professionalism. I would use him again for electrical as well as other services he provides. I also will be recommending him to friends and family for jobs they will be needing done in the future.

I am very happy with the work completed and Brian's responsiveness. He gave us a ball park figure of the cost, when my husband talked to him over the phone, and came in close to the estimate....we felt it was a fair price. He's punctual, very professional and I would highly recommend Brian to anyone. I honestly feel he doesn't take advantage of people. Brian provided an estimate soon after our initial contact. Brian's ability to communicate clearly and address the matter comprehensively and in great detail was refreshing. Performance of the work was a bit delayed due to unfortunate circumstances Brian endured outside of the job, but the job was completed by the agreed upon deadline at the agreed upon price. The job was completed to agreed upon specifications.

Brian and his crew performed the work efficiently and in a professional manner. Brian was attentive to all the details and insured that the job came off well. I am very pleased with Brian, Kelly and the crew.

First of all, he called me the same day to set up a time to come out to the house and give me a quote. Then I had a quote within 48 hours and the workers were here a few days later. They were so easy to talk to and schedule everything. The work was perfect and they even cleaned up the mess they made. Bryan came by to drop off materials and see how everything was going and then he came back a few days later so we could settle the payment, which was also so easy. It was so great that I am actually contacting them again today to take a look at our sump pump!

I have utilized Brian's expertise 2 previous times, and as usual he was responsive, professional, friendly, and prompt. I like that he answers calls from me with "Hi, Hedy" because I am an established customer. He came out promptly to review the work needed. Within 2 days I had an estimate in my email that I could print. We had major leak in our kitchen ceiling (water and sewer) from the upstairs bathroom, that was previously corrected by plumbers. We needed the entire kitchen ceiling replaced due to mold, water damage, etc. We found our 1940's house had 3 layers of old sheet rock in the kitchen ceiling. We made an appt with Brian to coincide with spring break when someone would be home for the repairs. He called a day or two ahead to say his crew would be there at 8am Monday morning. What we didn't know was that Brian and his family had lost their home to fire just 3 days before our start date. Yet, his crew arrived at 745am that Monday (4 men), without missing a beat. They made quick work of removing the ceiling that day, and installed new sheet rock. Jeremy and Jason remained after day one to finish the job. Although Brian was in a time of great personal loss, he remained in constant contact with his crew to insure all went to his and our specifications. They were friendly, knowledgable and did a great job. The ceiling looks better than before. The job was comlete as estimated on day 4. Brian came out the last day to inspect the work. He runs a tight ship. He is a detail person, and expects his crew to always respect our home and property and clean up after themselves. Other than sheetrock dust we had to clean that filtered out to furniture, etc (to be expected), you would never know they were here! The cost didn't go over the estimate by even a penny! Thank you, Brian, for another job well done! I would recommend Brian without any reservations. I am already planning my next project.

Brian went out of his way to schedule a date that met our time frame. He arrived as scheduled with a small crew, efficiently accomplished all tasks exactly as we wanted them, and cleaned up afterwards. He then returned two more times as necessary to paint the finished drywall and check the results. We could not ask for better service. Brian was also very patient in helping us think through and giving us estimates on some future projects on our agenda, which we hope to undertake in the near future, for which our first choice will certainly be Brian..

He came right over and checked it out, he told me what I could do to fix it. He said he would be more than happy to do the job , but were young and could save ourselves a lot of money by doing it ourselves. He advised us on how to go about it and gave me his card if I ever need anything else. A month later I called brian about another issue and he gave me advice again. I was very surprised he was willing to help me for nothing. You do not get that very often especially from the owner himself. He is a great guy and when I get a project I cant handle I will choose brain without hesitation.

I called three handymen from Angie's List. This was the third call I made because I was really needing someone ASAP. This was the only service provider that actually answered my call. The person who answered my call was very nice and extremely accommodating. She rearranged the schedule to address my needs because I was calling from a business and really was in a bind with that light being out. Because I was very busy that day, I inadvertently arranged for two different people to come at the same time for the same job. I thought the second call was the technician just reconfirming the appointment time. When Brian came to my office there was already someone working on the light. I felt SOOOOOO bad about my screw up.......... I'm sure he must have been frustrated by my error, but he handled the situation with the utmost of professionalism. Sorry again for my mistake and thanks for your understanding. If your looking for a handyman CALL THEM FIRST!!!!!

Quick response, professional job, great to work with

two weeks after initial contact, Brian took the bathroom fans out. He didn't call me back, I had to follow up with him a few days later to find out that they were not normal bathroom fans and he was going to try and order parts. A week again with no word back I called again to find out he was still waiting. Two weeks later I called back to find out he never heard any word about parts and forgot about the whole project but would finish up shortly . It's now January and not a phone call, email or text. Brian is the first trade professional I've ever had show up when he said he would, answer his phone, respond to emails, and generally act as though the work I needed done was worth his time. He came out and did the work extremely well, quickly, right around the estimate. I've already recommended him to friends.

For what they did it was very expensive. They were overwhelmed with work at the time and did not return phone calls or bother to tell me when they were not able to show up as planned.

Arrived on time despite the bad weather. Was on road since 4:30! Went right to work and was finished within an hour. Very professional attitude. Even labeled some breakers in box that previous electrician failed to do. As he was leaving, I casually mentioned that light and exhaust fan in range hood stopped working, even though hood was new. Did he have an idea why? He fiddled with GFIC and panel box in hood and discovered that whoever installed it failed to strip wiring, so no connection being made. Needless to say, range hood light and fan now working :-)

Brian is great! He did a good job for us and was flexible and customer friendly!
