Mack Of All Trades

Mike and his two helpers did a great job! They were very easy to work with. Very professional, and on time. After the job was done we had two minor problems, Mack was there the very next day, both times, to fix the problem. They did a quality job. Well Done!

We hired Mack of all Trades to repair, sand, paint and install new hardware to our kitchen cabinets, and install new counter tops, flooring and lighting in the kitchen. In addition they completed general interior and exterior electrical repairs. We also had them complete other small repair projects around the house. Overall, we were very pleased with Mack of all Trades. Specifically, if anything wasn't done to our liking, they either caught it first and fixed it, or fixed it when we brought it to their attention. They take pride in their work and have high standards, doing everything until it is perfectly correct. We did have an issue with the quality of the work completed by one of the workers they brought to the house, but Mack of all Trades corrected the work of that worker upon inspection at no additional cost to us. We did have a couple of surprises in our final invoice about repairs where we did not obtain a quote prior to the repair being made. Always best to get a quote before work on a repair is approved. Mack of All Trades is very amicable to work with, very professional and fair. We will definitely be doing business with them again.

It went very well. Workers were respectful and did everything I asked for. The price was a little higher than quoted due to some extra parts needed. There were a couple days delay in the middle of the job, but got it started quite quickly after I initially called, so I am happy overall that several jobs complete within a couple of weeks. THANK YOU!

Excellent job! One wall was out of plumb by approx. 3/4” which Luis straightened up and did a beautiful job. When he finished, the space was plumb and square and ready for tiling.

As above, each of the workers was on time, neat, professional, knowledgable, and completed the tasks beautifully. It's an old house, so problems arose, but nothing they couldn't handle.

Repairs professionally completed at reasonable prices

First, so refreshing to talk to someone interested in your initial call to the office of Mack of All Trades. Very responsive in scheduling, arrived on time and ready to repair if possible and/or recommended. Provided a detailed written estimate to replace the storm door within 24 hours of inspection of door. Unfortunately, due to issues with HOA, project is on hold.

No complaints. so NICE to actually reach people in an office. The past 10 years seems like I would call people and das later get a return. Kelsey is always right there to respond, if she isnt on another phone....she gets back to me within 5 mins or less. SO refreshing!

The experience with Mack of All Trades has been great, i.e., from the estimate through completion of the work. We had to special order some items for the storm/screen doors. The work date changed because of storm/screen door delivery. They were very flexible. Mike did the work. He had a smile on his face. He set out his work and cleaned up at the end of every day. He was a constant worker. He asked us our opinion when there were things we can input on. It turns out, the vendor we worked with 5 years ago didn't allow for the doors to receive storm/screens even though that was the intent. So, extra work had to be done for the openings to receive the storm/screen doors. As that work was being done, we saw areas where the prior contractor did things to make it look good but didn't protect the installation nor allow for the screen/storm doors to be installed. No wonder we had dry rot! That job cost was around $17,000. Now I worry about what was done to the floors and windows they installed! This job is finished. We are in process of getting an estimate for the next project. Mack of all Trades literally does almost everything (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, baths, doors, windows...) so we don't need to get a special contractor for each project. They have specialists through their business! A special note about our journey to find Mack of All Trades: First I contacted the contractor that did the work 5 years ago. I asked for an estimate to do the work. To date, still haven't received one Then I asked family, neighbors and friends. In all cases they knew people who did the work we were looking for, but would never use them again -- so there was no referral. Then I went to Angies List and Home Advisor. I really liked using Angie's list. My social circle is anxious to hear what we think of Mack of All Trades' workmanship, price & follow through. Bottom line: we have had such a positive experience with Mack of All Trades, soon they should become busy just within my own social network.

Went very well. Knowledgeable employees. Took a few days to set up an appointment. However, no other handymen in the area were available before these guys (busy season). Communication was good. Would recommend.
