All went well with the exception of one switch where a 2x4 blocked access. He calmly worked thru problem with success. Everything was cleaned up as they went.

It went very well. They did exactly what they said they would do, and each step along the way, they explained to us what they were doing. They were very conscientious about being in our home, and they went out of their way to clean up a mess if they had made while working, including vacuuming the carpet.

They came out and provided an estimate as promised. I was in no rush, and we agreed to have the work done when they had an opportunity over the following 2-3 weeks. They came out as promised and performed the repair. I'm completely satisfied.

Very talented professionals. They can do it all and do it well. It is a pleasure to work with people who know what they are doing and how to do it right the first time. There is no push back - they just figure out a way to make everything look easy to do and the finished product is wonderful.

Overall well, albeit we had some miscommunication: I had sent an email asking several questions re: when the job would be completed and whether or not the molding would be included in the price for the job. Weeks went by with no response so then I called and was told there was miscommunication and they would get the job done soon which they did. However, the molding issue was not done. When the job was being done, I asked if they would repair or replace the molding; they said they would be by the next day to finish it. They never came so I repaired the molding myself. And the job I did was satisfactory to my standards.

Overall, I have to say we expected more. Michael Mack was very professional, quick to get us the estimate, and we felt he had a good handle on the job. He told us it would be six weeks or more for the job to start and we were fine with that. We hoped that he would be more hands on with the work than he was, but our job was assigned to an employee. The job started about a week later than planned, again, no problem. After one day of demolition, the job didn't resume again for two weeks. (We did have a three day vacation during that time which prevented them from coming in.) Ultimately, what we expected to be about a one week job took seven weeks, being worked on a few hours at a time. The worst part was a lack of communication. We never knew when the contractor was coming, at times he said he would be there and didn't arrive, or he arrived unexpectedly. When here he was pleasant, and discussed options with us and made suggestions, so we did feel he was responsive in the moment. The quality of the completed work, I have to say was just fair. The contractor did come back to re-sand once before we paid, and in all fairness, we didn't complain further after realizing the finish was poor because we just wanted it to be done. I spoke to Mr. Mack about the timing issue, and he apologized and told me he felt he was mislead by his employee. However, I do think he should have followed up more since he knew it was a smaller job, and unlikely to take seven weeks. We are very easy going and think that our good nature was taken advantage of during a very busy time for the company. We sincerely wouldn't have minded the job starting later or stretching into a two-three weeks had the communication been better. I was hoping to find a general contractor to do several projects for us, but would be unlikely to take a chance with them again. Don't rule them out, though, but find out who will be doing the work, get some assurances that Mr. Mack will be supervising, and to be less complacent than we were.

Mike & his crew gave excellent service. Always timely. Cleaned up after each day. Mike offered great advice on the flooring needed. Bathroom came out exactly how it was pictured. HIGHLY recommend this company over an over again. Thanks Mike Mack for all you do!
