"Existing condition and existing holes in the customer’s porch column were there and we retrofitted the best we could. After seeing photos, the work looks acceptable."
"Hello [Member Name Removed], According to the contract signed by your neighbor, Liberty Fence is not responsible for unknown utilities not improperly marked by New York 811 or the homeowner. We are not responsible for any damages to oil lines, pool lines/equipment, sprinkler systems, waste lines, electrical lines, etc., and will not be repaired by Liberty Fence. Indication of property lines and location of the erected fence is the property owner's responsibility. In this case, your neighbor. We are sorry this happened to you and we understand it is an inconvenience, however, I'd discuss this with your neighbor and review their signed agreement with Liberty Fence."
"We install with the customer being home for their input. To reinstall the fence is a cost that we need not absorb if changes happen after the installation and posts are concreted in the ground."
"Wow! [Member Name Removed], thanks so much for your awesome feedback. We really appreciate the time and effort you put in to writing such a fantastic review. Enjoy your new fence and gate!"
Received a ballpark estimate for outside railing based on my measurements. Met with owner and was told that the estimate would hold true if measurements were accurate and total footage was not off. Owner estimated running length for materials needed at 26 feet but noted I would have to have a salesman come and verify. Ok, fair enough. Left three messages for a salesman to call back (they kept losing my message?) and after third attempt managed to set an appointment. Salesman comes, does actual measurements for 10% LESS (23 feet) material and quotes price 20% HIGHER. I show him what the owner quoted and he tells me his, the salesman's, is accurate and that I should speak to owner. I go again in person to their POB, tell them I want to start the work but want to understand the quote discrepancy first. Owner is out of office. Leave message to call me. He does not. I call two additional times, leave message each time and I am still waiting. I find it amazing that I was ready to give them a check, even told them that this was the case and still can't get a response.
I wanted to hire them because of a recommendation but it seems that they aren't interested in doing the work.
"Hi [Member Name Removed], my name is Jason, the marketing manager at Liberty Fence & Railing. Thanks for your feedback and I'm sorry you're having an issue. I looked into your matter, and I've asked that someone reach out to you again to resolve this (someone may have already contacted you). Please understand, many of our customers visit the office and ask for a "ballpark estimate" before allowing us to visit the home to get an accurate measurement and finalize logistics. The actual price is given by the salesman once we know what the project entails. The sales team says they provided an estimate in the "ballpark" that was originally provided. I know you were referred by another customer, and I do apologize for any trouble. We'll try to bring the price down than originally quoted."
