Description of Work: We use Cornetta Brothers Inc for plumbing services like fixing bathroom, cleaning out drains and repairing leaks.

Description of Work: To start off I must admit we have used cornet a brothers for the past ten years prior to joining Angie's List. They have completed several jobs in the past for us and they are the only plumbing team I have contacted for this past problem. Most current job required a new wax ring for the second floor bathroom toilet - it had been damaged due to a loose toilet mounting several decades earlier by another contracting team. Long story short - it finally gave way as we moved out to new address. Cornetta Bros. were called & they arrived a day later to diagnose & repair. I think the plumbers & technicians are fine professionals and the great people ( not often the case ) the only" problems" are small concerns lack of a modern data base for prior repairs/customers. - a few of the receptionists have been difficult to communicate with - & following a lead to additional work ( IE: I have more work for them, they were informed about it from their Plumber, it isn't an urgent repair so I have not obsessed over it- but in lean times when Companies have not had the work to support their employees - following a lead is a no brainier

Description of Work: I had a gas leak in the garage and they ran a new pipe to the house and hooked it all up.

Description of Work: Needed steady drip fixed in shower. This wound up necessitating a replacement of the main water valve (so that the water could be turned off in order to fix the problem). This, in turn, meant contacting the water company to turn off water to the house (and turn it on again when the work was done.

Description of Work: Moved Mashing Machine and Dryer to other side of basement. Capped and or removed all old lines. Ran a new drain and gass line. Plumbed for a future sink install.

Description of Work: The service we used this company for this time was first for an emergency repair of a leaking pipe and then secondly to replacer a portion of a pipe. I called in the morning when we noticed a small leak coming from our basement pipe. I was able to speak to someone at 7 a.m. He told me that he could get someone there late morning midday which I said was fine since we had put a temporary patch. The plumber arrived as promised calling shortly before actually coming. He was professional and promptly repaired the leak. He advised us that we could just go with the repair or have the section of piping replaced(This pipe was an older pipe form the 1940s) . He was uncertain of the price for the pipe replacement but indicated the boss would call and let us know. We thereafter had a conversation with the supervisor who gave us a reasonable price for replacing this particular pipe. I scheduled the work and it was promptly completed. The plumber was able to replace the pipe cutting away the minimal amount of dry wall. He cleaned the area completely. Would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: We have been using cornetta Brothers for 30 or so years....they are reliable, honest and, most importantly, they do the job irght the first time......you don't see much of that anymore.......

Description of Work: The gas utility company shut off our gas service when they discovered that the gas relief valve exiting our house had been covered over by new exterior stucco. Rather than uncovering the stucco to expose the valve, Cornetta Brothers suggested a better solution by running a new gas pipe for the valve, and drilling a new hole to exit the house in an inconspicous spot. No extieror stucco work was required.

Description of Work: Cornetta Brothers Inc replaced a water pipe in the basement bathroom about two weeks ago.

Description of Work: They found out that my boiler needed a new coil. They did not give me a price until they were able to research it to make sure they knew what was needed. I have used them in the past.

Description of Work: Cornetta Brothers repaired our boiler as it had been boiling over. They ended up having to repair part. After repairing the boiler, he came back 4 times at no cost just to check it again. We have a large 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom older house in which our boiler accommodates.

Description of Work: No work was performed. On my way to work today I called to set up an appointment. She (Rita) told me if they had a cancellation they would call me. At 3:30 I called because I hadn't heard from them and I was going to set up an appointment. She told me they had someone sent out, but they never called to tell me and no one was home. She kept interrupting me, I told her I was the customer, she told me she was the boss and hung up.

Description of Work: The kitchen radiator was leaking so the radiator valve was replaced. They also unclogged the laundry sink.
