Excellent work. Professional service. You get what you pay for. When I renovated my home four years ago, I went with a cheaper contractor. Now I'm paying the price. Some of the work done by Bob Knock of Silver Fox Construction was to fix mistakes made by the first contractor. Bob is thoughtful, knowledgeable, patient and helpful; as are the guys who work for him. The work was done as promised with a minimum of mess and disruption. Over and above that, Bob is attentive to details. He notices problems and comes up with solutions to fix them. I had not intended to have him install a new dryer vent. The old one was clearly not working. It was way too long and way too indirect. It repeatedly clogged, spewing lint into the laundry room. Bob figured out a much shorter and more direct route to the exterior. He figured out a similar problem with the vent fan in an existing bathroom. I am most pleased with the wine cellar. The space available was limited, but it needed to be extremely well insulated. Bob figured out the way to provide the most insulation without increasing the width of the walls.

Bob Nock & his crew were friendly, prompt, well organized and talented. They were at the house everyday at 8 am and worked until 4:30pm. Anyone who has had these kinds of remodels knows the disruption, dust , general chaos and overall inconveniences. Bob, Ed & Doug managed to keep it all to a minimum. Each day, we saw progress. The overall project took almost 4 months, slowed by Town inspections, outside contractors and weather. We are thrilled with the finished product. It exceeded every expectation. Everyone who comes to the house comments on the finishings, the layout, use of space and craftmanship. Bob Nock had also expanded and finished an upstairs bathroom and built closets. We were delighted with that project and that is why we asked him to take on this remodel. We highly recommend Silver Fox Construction for any project you may contemplate.

Bob and his crew are fantastic. They dealt with every problem that arose (and there were many) without complaint, and without asking me "so what should we do?" That was awesome, because I am so accustomed to contractors making things MY problem. Bob is a hands-on owner and leader, and his men are all intelligent, personable, and competent. I can't say enough good things about them. I have many other projects in the pipeline and I intend to call upon the Silver Fox for all of them!

Bob's team was amazing! It's not every day that you find a contractor who treats your home with the same respect as he treats his own, and the same applies to his team. From day 1, his team made me and my family feel very comfortable, and we very deserving of the ability to come and go even if we were not home. The craftsmanship of the job was excellent, and always willing to work with us to find creative solutions to problems. A great example is that there is an angled peninsula in our kitchen, and Bob's team figured out how to make the right pieces for the outer corner not only look as if it came from the cabinet maker, buteven included a working door for storage in an area that would have been wasted space. I can't say enough about Silver Fox Construction, and I look forward to using them again in the future.

There are so many positive things to say about Bob, his crew and the work they provided. The one thing that stands out most is that he is a completely hands on owner. I have had other Contractors in the past who would leave a crew on the job site and then you would not see them again until the end of the day. Bob is on the job site from first thing in the am (always punctual) to the end of the day (unless he is getting materials). He is there working alongside his crew as well as managing the project. He watches over the crew to ensure that everyone is doing what they should be doing and there is no down time. His crew are great. They are honest, reliable, hardworking and enjoyable to be around. The Electricians, Plumbers and Masons that Bob works with are all top notch. You could not ask for better. Bob took all of the stress out of the remodel/construction process. He is so knowledgeable, he knows what he is doing, you know you are in good hands with him. When something comes up, it is remedied right away. His attention to detail is impeccable. Removing stucco from a house and installing new siding is a very dirty job. I saw a few houses in my development get this done and the job site was a disaster. Not with Bob, the job site was impeccable. At the end of the day the site was completely cleaned of all debris by him and his crew and the areas swept for nails (no worries about a flat tire). Bob finished exactly when he said he would, even with all the unexpected problems we had along the way. He was also working a lot of the time outside so he had to deal with inclement weather. I don't think he missed one day in the time he was here. He planned it out that when the weather was bad he came inside to work on the interior. His estimate was reasonable and the project did come in on budget with the exception of unexpected things that came up during the remodel when the stucco was removed from the home (ie: rotten wood, termites). When you are doing a project like this you never know what you are going to find. I cant say enough about Silver Fox Construction, they are true professionals. I would hire Bob again to work on any project that I had in the future and would recommend him to anyone I know. Neighbors were so impressed with his work that he picked up a few clients in my neighborhood.

They were good. I wasn't there when they did the work but the results showed that it was a high level of workmanship. His price was neither the least nor the most expensive.

I am very please with the work that has been done. I didn't know what to do first but like I explained everything got done in an orderly fashion and I didn't have any concerns as everything went very smooth. Would hire Silver Fox for all my constructions needs. In fact I do have some stuff that needs to be done and they will definitely be doing that work.
