We were very satisfied with their services. I dealt with Tara and she was friendly and made it a lot easier for us. They picked up the items free of charge and we only paid the storage and delivery charge. The guys who came out did a great job and didn't damage anything. They were professional and showed up right on time.

It went very well although the price was a little high.

Move from New York to Florida. Some to a rental, rest to storage retrieved in early Nov. 2013. Went well.

Our move was absolutely fabulous. Family members who were helping us while the movers were at the house were flabbergasted by the service of the crew. Gary and the office staff wisely suggested that because we had so much to move we should do it in a two-day move with smaller trucks. What a difference that made for all of us!! Nestor and his brother and their crew were so careful with our furniture, and so respectful of us and our belongings that they made the move wonderful. I had been dreading the day the movers would arrive...expecting all sorts of unpleasantness...we had last moved 17 years ago, but in our prior moves it was torture. Not this time....I would use these people again in a heartbeat...and have recommended them to everyone we know. In fact, a good friend used them to move to Tampa recently after we recommended them and she was delighted also. Keep up the good work!!! There was a little error in math on the final bill, and before I could call the office to inquire about it, the office manager called ME to tell me she discovered the error and was issuing a credit to my credit card! Honesty, integrity, and respectful...what more can you ask? Thank you, salesman Gary Ferraro and the entire Liberty Moving crew.

Prior to the move, Liberty sent their Estimator, David, to our home to provide an estimate of the cost of the move and what that price included. David was great! He inventoried every item in our home - - both the items we were planning to move and those not to be moved. Because of this, we were able to call David and make changes before the move and know the effect on the price. David was available by phone to answer all our questions right up to the moving date. His estimate of the weight of the items was right on. There was no surprise on the final cost. Also, the fact that Liberty accepted credit card payment, was great. I didn't need to have cash or a certified check at delivery. Tami, the Move Coordinator, kept us up to date as to the timing of the move. On the day of the move, November 13th, the truck arrived promptly and the driver Ozzie and two helpers moved our house and then the nearby storage items in about six hours. They worked quickly, but carefully. I was quite impressed with their professionalism. They estimated they would be at our Georgia location on November 19th or 20th (they had two other southern moves in the same truck). However, on November 16th, Tami called us to let us know they would be delivering our things on the next day (November 17th). Fortunately, we were in transit and could be there when they arrived. Apparently, one of their deliveries had to be delayed and we were moved up. The delivery went as well as the pickup. Ozzie arrived with one of the workers who loaded the truck and a third local worker joined them. They unloaded our furniture and other possessions into two apartments and a nearby storage garage in about four hours. When all was said and done, there were a couple of items with some damage. When Tami called after the move to see how it went, I informed here of the damage and she said she would send a claims form. It's been a month now and the forms haven't arrived. I will be following up. Overall, I thought the move went extremely well. David and Ozzie were true professionals.

DO NOT USE THEM !!!!! 6 boxes did not arrive not only have they denied but they falsified the documents when making their evaluation. On my copy of the inventory control sheet 6 boxes are missing on their copy which is the top copy that american express obtained for me they circled the 6 boxes as received after the fact. in addition they charged me for crating ( $1200 ) they do not crate they double boxed and they ran out of boxes and an antique syrian inlaid chair was not packed and now is lost. Also they did not reimburse me for that. Paul harrison on the phone from United blamed the lack of boxes on me for having too much stuff. I am now consulting a criminal attorney and am going to proceed with Arbitration. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS

The whole TEAM made a phenomenal job. From the first phone call, then Gary the sales person, Yolanda the moving coordinator, to the moving crew... Carlos Salinas, Erlin and Julio were very professional and efficient. They went above and beyond to meet my requests. Every step of the way, this company EXCELLED. A little bit expensive, but very professional and punctual, no worries. I used them twice.

It went excellent, they were very efficient. They knew exactly what they were doing, they couldn't have been any nicer. It was easy as could be, the hardest part of the whole ordeal was unpacking. They were exactly on time, they said they would be there at 9AM, they showed up at 9AM exactly. They said they would have my belongings at my new location between 10 and 10:30 and they were there. They were great with all my fragile belongings, majority of them were antiques and nothing was damaged. They knew how to take care of the insurance, it wasn't any hassle to me. They even packed up jewelry that I had forgotten about, and all of it was returned to me! I reccomend them to anybody!

In a word or two...absolutely terrible. Moving is one of the most stressful activities in your adult life so to prepare we took the time to read all the reviews here of the leading companies in the area. Afterwards we received on-site estimates from the two final contenders. What was interesting is that all of the estimates were within $25 of each other. Unique to Liberty was the salesperson used an Ipad application to document each and every item we were moving including the exact amount boxes we had packed and their sizes. Read on and you see why this point is relevant. What I now know is that the your experience during moving day will be largely based on your luck of the draw. Meaning the crew they send you will determine how successful or stressful your move is. With regret we drew the short straw and got a bad crew. According to the estimates we received from the all the companies, our move called for a crew of 4 people and a large truck and was estimated to take 9 hours. Keep in mind we had packed ourselves so the crew only need to move the larger items like the beds and couches and load all of the boxes which were packed, sealed, labeled and color coded to the destination in the new home. Our move took well over 13 hours and was far from complete as there were several boxes label to end up in the basement but were still in the garage. Yes 13 hours for 2 beds, 4 couches, a desk, a patio set and 35 boxes. You ask why? Well to be fair I will add this disclaimer our move was in the middle of a heat wave where the temperatures were above 90F. Did this contribute to being over 4 hours of each of the three companies estimates? In my opinion, NO. The real problem was I had a bad crew. I mentioned it was in the 90's that day but no one had water. My first thoughts of this were naive and gave them the benefit of the doubt. But I soon realized this lack of preparation was a tactic for them to gain access to your kitchen so they could have a place to hide and drink water in order not to work. I had a crew of 4 people but only one person was working. One was hiding in the truck pretending to coordinate how things were going to be packed while sneaking a smoke every 30 mins. The other two were in the kitchen discussing who was the hottest rapper out that summer as they helped themselves to ice and water from our refrigerator while the crew leader was the only one working. The crew started off strong and within the first hour the couches and most of the boxes on the main level were out of the house and loaded on the truck. At that point we felt like things were going well. The crew leader estimated they would be packed and ready to travel to the new house by 11:30am. So we left the house and went to the new home to get ready for their arrival. We even felt that they were working so hard that we should buy them lunch. That is when the bottom fell out. We left them there alone for a couple hours only to come back to find nothing had changed from the time we left 2 hours prior. The bedroom furniture was still upstairs along with all the boxes. The patio table and chairs was still on the deck and the other items we were taking had not been touched. At this point I was speechless. We had spend close to $70 on lunch which was sitting at the new house getting cold waiting on their arrival. When I inquired on what the holdup was the crew chief assured me that we were still on time and that the move would not go over the time limit. At that point it was obvious that the crew deliberately reduced their productivity to ensure they got paid for the full nine hours which was estimated. You could imagine our frustration at this point. The truck didn't leave the old house until 2:00pm and to make matters worse they left several items behind and needed to make a second trip to retrieve them. At this point we knew there was no way we would stay within the estimate. Although extremely aggravated at the reality that we would be billed at $175 per hour over the 9 hour estimate, we had previously taken a precaution that we would absolutely encourage you do as well if you go with this or any other moving company. We got a written statement from our salesperson limiting our overage to 1 hour. So that regardless how long the move took over the 9 hour estimate we would only pay an additional hour @ $175. Having this in our pocket quelled all the anxiety and the uncertainty of what the final bill would be. Without this we could've been billed for another $900. Another thing we learned along the way was a tactic our crew attempted to employ. At the 9 hour point, our crew leader approached me and attempted to make a deal to stop the clock on paper but he would continue to work if we would "take care of his guys". I asked him whether the free lunch and free water we provided would be considered taking care of them. He looked dumbfounded. I explained that my move was estimated to take 9 hours by three separate companies and further advised him that there was a list of each and every item that was to move. I told him honestly that I have no interest in cutting a deal that would reward the bad behavior I witnessed that day and as far as I was concerned the guys didn't work that hard after the initial hour. I further told him that we would discuss the money after the move was complete and not before then. After the move was completed and it was time to sign off on their work, the crew leader had marked the paperwork with only 1 hour overage. I made it clear we were not happy with how the day went but still tipped him $75. The final kick in the shorts was when we got our credit card bill and saw that Liberty billed us for 3 hours overage even though the paperwork we signed clear only had 1 hour listed. A quick phone call to customer service cleared this up but I never heard from the salesperson or the crew's manager to apologize for our experience. Which leads me to believe that this was not the first time this has happened. The lesson we would take away from this experience would be to have the salesperson's cell phone and to know exactly who to contact (moving crew's foreman) in the event the move is not proceeding the way you think it should on the day of. I would also prepare a list of the worst case scenarios that could happen during the move and review with the salesperson to see how we would deal with them. Getting those answers in writing of course. I also would setup wireless cameras to document the crews activity. Sounds a bit extreme but you can't argue with that type of evidence.

They came 40 mins early therefore we were not ready. They sent to young guys and an older guy. The two young ones were lazy, non responsive, did NOT do much, were careless & broke things. They were slow bc they got paid by the hour. Tacked on another few thousand by the end. Added 2013-09-12: The complaint was not solely to the increased in cost, it was due to the fact they were being lazy, which resulted in the increased cost. The "main" leader actually had arguments with the other movers because they where not doing anything. To add on there was one guy who was packing the truck that was smoking cigarettes inside the back of the moving truck as he was packing our belongings. So literally everything smelled of smoke. There was also pieces to our furniture and bed "lost" during the move.

It went great. They showed up on time. They worked very efficiently, and we didn't experience any problems along the way.

They were on time, they were highly professional, careful and considerate. Their wrapping was top notch. We would go with them again. It was a pleasant experience from beginning to end.

The movers arrived on time and packed the items which I had requested. They arrived in California within the time period they had given me. The driver called ahead of time to alert us as to when he would be arriving. We were also able to track the move on line. They were efficient in bringing and accounting for all the boxes and in unpacking the furniture. My bedroom triple dresser had a mirror attached which they detached and packed. However on delivery, they stated they were not responsible for reattaching the mirror. I also had a stand up antique mirror which they took apart and packed but would not put back together. Fortunately my son in law was able to put these things together for us. This is the only problem we had and considering the amount of furniture and boxes we had it was minor. My flat screeen TV is not yet put up so I'm hoping its in the perfect condition as it was in when it was packed. 80% of our boxes have been opened and so far everything has been ok. We packed most of our items ourselves and only had the movers pack my fine china, stemware, flat screen tvs, expensive vases, and the last minute odds and ends, like coffee maker and toaster. These have been unpacked and nothing was broken. . The staff was courteous, however with the guys on the NJ end we had a bit of difficulty communicating. Overall very happy with the experience and would recommend

Liberty Moving & Storage were courteous and packed and wrapped everything meticulously to prevent anything from getting damaged or scratched. Liberty Moving & Storage was a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

I was given was the price I paid

Moving from ny to Florida is a very stressful situation, however the men from liberty that moved me were so courteous and efficient that they completely put me at ease.they moved my baby grand piano and it arrived without a scratch.the driver of the moving van,Mitch, was so polite and kept everyone organized. The move went so smoothly. When I called liberty for an estimate I was surprised and impressed that one of the company owners came to give me the estimate and patiently answered all of my questions.what I thought would be stressful turned out to be completely stress free and couldn't have gone better! Everyone at liberty made me feel like I was part of a big happy family. If I ever move again I will definitely use liberty!

We were very happy with the services that we received from Liberty Moving and Storage. Michelle in the sales department and RC in dispatch were both very accommodating. We used Liberty several times because our new home was not ready when we sold our old place. The majority of our belongs were in storage for 9 months while a small portion of our belongs were moved to a temporary apartment. Liberty made sure that every box was carefully labeled to ensure the appropriate items were delivered to storage. Carlos and his team were on time and wrapped every piece of furniture with the upmost care. They packed all my fine china and stemware meticulously. They even helped me take some shelves out of cabinets that I was unable to do myself. We have recommended Liberty Moving and Storage to several of our neighbors and friends. They were all extremely pleased with Liberty?s services as well.

It could not have gone better. I hate moving and they made the move go smoothly. They were speedy in packing all of our things. The moving people themselves were equally as good, they protected our walls, banister to ensure nothing got damaged. The price they quoted us was the price it actually ended up costing. They were responsive, puntual and professional. I would use them again in an instant.

The movers arrived on schedule and worked continuously throughout the day...our possessions were well cared for and arrived at our new home promptly. The unpacking of the moving truck went well and the movers handled our possessions with care as they set up various pieces as we directed, throughout our home...of note was the move of a very large armoire to the second floor MBR. This was handled professionally and with no damage to the piece.....there were no surprises in the final payment (very important); the estimate for the work was accurate. Follow-up customer servive was excellent. Sure we would use Libery moving again.

The team was extremely careful when bringing in all our home goods and did their work with a high degree of efficiency. They arrived exactly on time, and completed the work 3 hours a head of schedule. No breakages and they covered the floors. Roberta did an excellent job in estimating cost and provide great service after the job was complete.

I would never in a million years recommend this company also known as Atlantic. They were totally unreliable and way more expensive than they said they would be. I had booked to have them move me on Monday. At 3pm on the Friday I received a call saying they could not move me then, but the following day Tuesday. As I had the walk through on my old home on the Monday afternoon, Tuesday was not acceptable. I was then offered the next day, Saturday, which I reluctantly agreed to. I had thought I would have the whole weekend to continue packing and this was not the case. They turned up early on Saturday morning and the guy in charge started moaning about the length of my driveway (the sales person had already seen this) and the fact it was raining. They too, tried to persuade me to move on Tuesday. To say I was stressed out, is an understatement. Also, they did not seem to know they were to pack for me and this also caused him to moan. They did work hard to pack my stuff, but after all the aggravation and bs they gave me first thing in the morning, I was not happy with them. They kept my possessions from the Saturday to Tuesday. I had told the supervisor that I would not be able to move into my new home until the afternoon, after the closing at 2:00 pm. As I was driving to the closing on the sale of my old home, on Tuesday, early in the morning, I had a call from them to say they are waiting at my new home to unpack and where was I. I could not believe they were there, so much earlier than they should have been. They informed me they would be charging for every hour they had to sit and wait for me to show up. When I arrived my possessions were held hostage whilst I handed over way more money than originally quoted. I was told I would get a full statement and maybe a return of money, but they would not unload my stuff until I had paid up. Felt like I was being blackmailed for my stuff. To add insult to injury, they broke my table and took it away to have repaired, but I have not seen it and am sure I will not see it again.

It was good. We did experience a little communication problems.
