 + 0 moreJuan & Pablo were very good at what they do. It only took them two hours to do the work. Yes, I would use them again. The prices were very reasonable! I had the leak inspection done on Thursday August 15th by Cliff, even though I already suspected what the problem was. The only problem was arriving on time or there window so to speak, the leak inspection's window was between 8am-12pm, They didn't arrive until 12:45pm. I was promised I would be the frst stop on Monday 8am but I guess the info got lost because I had to call to reschedule for Tuesday. The Customer service was very nice and tried to help me. However, The plumbers didn't arrive till 8:45am on Tuesday. Once the work started all the work was done in a timely & neat Manner, I would use this service again even though I had to wait, but the wait is worth it!
Description of Work: They changed the guts in my toilet tank because I was losing water, They changed the drain pipes under my kitchen sink.

 + -1 moreWHEN PLUMBER CAME TO HOME (MY ADULT SON WAS IN ATTENDANCE) HE ASKED MY SON TO SHOW HIM TO BASEMENT. WITHOUT EVEN CHECKING TO SEE WHERE CLOG CAME FROM PLUMBER TOLD MY SON THAT HIS "EXPERIENCE" TOLD HIM THAT PIPES IN BASEMENT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED WITH COSTS RANGING FROM $600 TO OVER $1000. MY SON TOLD HIM I WOULD CALL WITH MY DECISION. I CALLED LEWIS AND TOLD HIM NOT TO DO ANYTHING. I CALLED ANOTHER SERVICE AND SURE ENOUGH THEY DID FIND A CLOG IN DRAIN, AND THEY CLEARED IT, WITHOUT CHANGING PIPES OR ANYTHING ELSE. AS THINGS TURNED OUT, EVEN IF I HAD CHANGED THE PIPES AS LEWIS RECOMMENDED, THE CLOG STILL WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE. CONSIDERING THE GOOD RECOMMENDATIONS THAT LEWIS COMPANY GOT FROM OTHER CUSTOMERS OF ANGIES LIST, I WAS VERY SURPRISED AND DISAPPOINTED BY THEIR PERFOMANCE.
Description of Work: PROVIDER WAS CALLED TO CLEAR OUT A CLOG (WITH A POWER ROUTER) IN DRAIN LEADING FROM STREET TO WASTE PIPES IN BASEMENT. A PRICE OF $175 FOR CLEANOUT WAS OK'D BY ME.

 + -1 moreSince parts were no longer available for this older shower faucet, the plumber made his own part. If he had not been able to do that, the entire until would have needed to be removed and a new one installed. That would have meant removing tiles and would have been a costly repair.

 + -1 moreThe plumber was on time, courteous, and neat. The job was more difficult than most, as dishwasher is under the sink where the connections for the faucet are. We pulled out the dishwasher before the plumber came, but the kitchen is very small and the plumber had to work in very small space. He was fast and did a good job. He also gave us a quote for replacing our toilet, but when we called him to do the job, he was unresponsive.

Description of Work: The provider fixed my son's toilet that had been making a lot of noise. He diagnosed the problem and before he fixed anything he asked me if I would like him to fix it and I said Yes. He also took apart my plumbing in my powder room including the faucets because I have to replace the marble top that is broken. He was also going to install my new hot\cold kitchen faucet but when we opened the box I discovered it was the wrong color. He will come back next week to do that work when the new one is in. Cliff was the provider and he was extremely polite, extremely neat and so nice. Also the owner of the company Alex called me this morning to re-confirm the appointment and double check the work needed to be done. The man Chris who booked the appointment last week called me twice to reconfirm the appointment time. This was an extremely organized efficient company.

 + -1 moreThe appointment was made for a .window.of time. They arrived towards the latter part of the 'window. They did the pipe replacement iimmediately after I approved the estimate. The faucet problems had to be done on a second visit.The cost of that work was pricy.They called in a sewer person for a backup problem. I could have contracted with them myself, but I felt they got quicker service. Again a bit pricy.
Description of Work: Solved a leaking pipe by removing and replacing it. Fixed seeveral faucets. Brought in a subcontracter to solve a drainage prblem.

They were very professional and follow-up on orders, timeline for installation and the actual date of installation. The installation was not perfect asthetically and there were a few dings on our floors but overall a good experience and have recommended them to neighbors.
Description of Work: provided expertise on the type and size of replacement heaters to install for the types and sizes of rooms, installed three cast iron heaters in our apartment.

Unfortunately, and maybe its why plumbers decide to bleed customers, plumbing issues are very uncomfortable. Anyhow, paid 4125.00 cash to be told what the issue was but could not help me because, even though I asked them to send a specialized plumner dealing in LAARS equipment, they don't have the part and would take days to get at a cost of $300.00.. Called the manufacturer and list price from them is $153.00. Paid $ 125.00 for 15 minutes of, "we can't help you"...
Description of Work: No service performed except for diagnosing problem, which apparently is the normal and first thing to go with this boiler...

Description of Work: The repair men arrived on time ( in fact early) They checked for water leaks in the basement and each apartment.(two family house) I called for an estimate for repairs.  + 0 moreAlex gave us an estimate and told us in detail what he proposed, including replacing a good deal of plumbing leading up to the new system (if that's the right way to say it). Alex was prompt and followed up with what the estimate when he said he would. His estimate was maybe a tad on the high side--but for essential functions in the house--it's not an area I felt like we wanted to compromise on. He was super prompt on returning calls and e-mails. The installation and removal took a day, and his guys did a great job. They had to navigate a narrow stairway to the basement, and did very well. We are really impressed and so relieved. Highly, highly recommend.
